"There is a kitchen where I was able to prepare my own meals. All the facilities are included e.g a cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc It was a home from home apartment which was to my liking and style. The host Marcia is excellent and extremely helpful. I would describe her as a problem solver and very knowledgeable. Including Yolanda who does the day to day Management of the accommodation . She is always helpful and very friendly no matter how busy her day is . I have recently extended my stay for a further 18 days as I am very happy staying here whilst visiting friends and overseeing some renovation work on my own property."

Due to the fact that we are on a main Road there is ongoing traffic and the noise can sometimes be a bit loud from the music boxes the cars and taxi drivers have in their vehicles. There is no noise control on vehicles in Guyana. However, after a time you get use to it.

Bedding. I personally prefer white sheets for places to stay. It's the only way I can tell 100% that my bed is clean.

Immer wieder verirren sich große Wespen in die Hütten. Insektennetze könnten auch vor den Spalten im Dach installiert werden um dem entgegenzuwirken.

Einige Pfannen waren abgenutzt. Leider ist der Wasserstand sehr tief und so haben wir dort nicht gebadet.

"Wir wurden wegen unseres Hochzeitstages upgegradet,ohne das wir es wussten und wurden damit bei der Ankunft überrascht. Sekt und eine willkommenskarte waren am Zimmer. Wir hatten eine riesen Freude darüber und ein wundervolles Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick. Hatte alles nichts mit den Kommentaren zu tun,die wir vorher gelesen hatten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit allem und sind sehr dankbar für diesen tollen Aufenthalt"

"Schönes, grosszügiges Zimmer. Wunderschön gepflegte Anlage mit super schönen Pools und eine sehr einladende Poolbar mit tollen Drinks. Auch meeega toll fanden wir den Shuttlebus zu den verschiedenen Stränden. (Mehrmals täglich!) Super Service. :)"

Es hat einmal sehr stark geregnet und unser ganzes Zimmer stand komplett unter Wasser. Wir haben es gleich am morgen gemeldet und bis um 16:00Uhr kam keiner. Nicht mal um kurz zu schauen, oder Tücher zu bringen. Wir waren sicher nicht die einzigen, und haben auch nicht erwartet, dass wir ein anderes Zimmer begommen, aber eine kleine Anerkennung oder Hilfe wäre schon schön gewesen. Und auf dem Anwesen befinden sich zwei wunderschöne Papageie. Es ist ein wirklich grosses Resort und wir finden, etwas mehr Platz für die schönen Tiere wäre echt auch schön.

"Apartment was huge.Fantastic balcony that looked out over the sea.Amazing views. 5min walk to the sea"

From day 1 the ceramic cook top on the stove did not work.They sent a man to look at it, he could not get it to work.Nothing was done to try and fix it for the 7 days we were there.. No sharp knife to cut meat etc.no can opener. No hair conditioner. No phone to call reception, we were on the 9th floor. Had to keep going up and down to see them for anything you needed. No came to clean our room or even change our towels for the 7 days we were there.We had to go down to reception to request clean towels.Then they insisted we brought the used ones to them 1st, before giving us clean ones.But this shocked us the most, they said if we wanted .more clean ones later in the week, we had to PAY for them. The washing machine did not work properly. The TV did not work, had to get someone up to reprogram it. Neither coffee or tea was provided. But they had a coffee machine in the lobby,BUT that did not work either for the 7 days we were there. They said they had a small shop to sell essentials. But it was hardly ever open, we it was it had next to nothing in it. They have a roof top swimming pool, which trying to getvin and out of was really dangerous. The bars you held onto were not fixed properly with screws to hold it in place missing. The top step was missing altogether, when we tried to get in , not realizing the top step was not there I slipped down to the second step missing it going between it and the wall getting stuck, my wife still not in the pool and a man in the pool has to help me out, really scary and dangerous. I told reception about it , they apologized saying they would send a maintenance man to look at it.But like everything else they said they would fix, NOTHING was done for the 7 days we were there, consequently we did not use the pool again. The water in the taps and shower were far far too hot , scalding hot 🔥, very dangerous.

"Das Appartement hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage mit Blick auf die Burg von Făgăraș sowie seitlich auf die orthodoxe Kirche. Es liegt sehr zentral und verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz, so dass eine Parkplatzsuche nicht notwendig ist. Nahezu direkt unter dem Appartement befinden sich ein ganz kleiner Laden, in dem man das Nötigste (z.B. Getränke) erhält. Ein paar Meter weiter befinden sich eine Apotheke und eine Möglichkeit für Geldwechsel. Auch der Markt für frisches Obst und Gemüse ist nicht weit entfernt. Das Appartement selbst ist wunderschön. Man merkt, dass es gut gepflegt wird! Es ist sauber und ordentlich und die Vermieterin ist jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit, wenn es doch mal Fragen gibt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können das Appartement nur weiterempfehlen!"

"We had a very comfortable and quiet 2 week stay in the Sunset Room. The entire cottage is beautiful and immaculately kept by Demi. We had everything we needed to cook at home but also enjoyed many meals out at local restaurants. Our morning coffee on the balcony before our daily walks on Shoal Bay beach (5 min drive away) were a great way to start each day. Use of the laundry facilities was much appreciated. Hot shower, quality towels, linens and bath products. Demi was very helpful with recommendations. The location was great as we had a car to explore the island. Nothing in Anguilla is far. We loved everything about the island and would highly recommend any of the rooms at The Hidden Cottage."

"The place was clean, at a nice location, walk to the beach. The staff was also amazing especially Salum the caretaker who was quick to respond. The owner is also amazing. They also offered recommendations on what's good close by."

Location was far from the main tourist centers in Nungwi and stone town. Suggest getting a car if you are there - lucky we had one. Otherwise great stay!

Für uns hat gepasst

"An sich war das Zimmer für Pärchen sehr romantisch."

Das Arparment war nicht so groß wie auf den Fotos wir hatten nur ein Zimmer. Es ist auch sehr dunkel in den Räumen, kaum Tageslicht und nicht so stark beleuchtet! Überhaupt für Frauen die sich schminken! Des weiteren haben wir für 4 Tage nur ein Badetuch und ein Gesichtstuch erhalten. Wir wurden auch nicht vom Besitzer gefragt ob wir etwas benötigen oder sonst was! Es ist zentral aber die Gegend ist schon etwas gruselig... Es ist auch nichts wo angegeben worden, dass man für die Garage extra 15€ pro Tag zahlen muss, erst als ich angefragt habe, wurde es mir mitgeteilt!

Wifi so lala, kann vermutlich niemand etwas dafür Ein Besen o. ä. zum putzen zwischendurch wäre gut
