"Die Unterkunft war auf den ersten Blick (von außen) erst einmal ziemlich übel. Oberhalb der Eingangstür befand sich ein riesiges Loch und die Häuserreihe sah baufällig aus. Allerdings waren wir dann positiv überrascht. Das Zimmer war einfach, (null Komfort wie Fernseher etc, aber WLAN) und man benutzt Badezimmer etc. der Vermieterin mit, aber insgesamt war das dann doch so nett bei ihr, dass wir, nachdem wir in Armenien herumgereist sind, wieder zu ihr zum Übernachten gegangen sind. Es ist einfach authentisch armenisch, die Frau spricht Französisch und macht auf Wunsch ein einfaches Frühstück, was aber komplett okay ist. Ich würde wieder dort übernachten."

"Alles war perfekt!Sehr nette Gastgeber, Zimmer wunderbar,Umgebung sehr gut,bis Meer und Promenade 5 min. spazieren. Immer wieder gerne."

"Super schöne Anlage mit einem schönen Ausblick. Es ist sehr zentral gelegen. Die vielen schönen Pflanzen und der Pool sind wie eine Oase in mitten der Stadt! Das Personal war sehr freundlich!"

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

"Warm welcome from our hosts. You really feel like at home. Located a little bit outside the center of Jose Ignacio, we appreciated the calm of this area Excellent breakfast outside in front of the beautiful swimming pool. Homemade breads, natural fruit juice, fresh fruit salad... a very start for a day in Jose Ignacio"

"Wir haben eine Nacht dort geschlafen, die Ausstattung des Zimmers war gut, relativ nahe am Flughafen."

Uns war nicht klar, dass es in Neukaledonien keine Taxis gibt und da wir um 1 Uhr Nachts angereist sind, war es relativ schwierig die Fahrt zur Unterkunft zu organisieren, die Gastgeberin hätte im Voraus drauf hinweisen müssen. Auch das Wasser in der Dusche war nicht warm. Keine direkte Kreditkartenzahlung möglich, für 1 Nacht war daher die Kommunikation vorab relativ aufwendig (Mails und Zahlungslinks).

"Das Frühstück war super. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, außer dass Kaffee/Tee extra berechnet wird, was für uns eher ungewöhnlich ist. Die Lage/Aussicht ist toll, allerdings muss man sich dass mit einer steilen und schmalen Anfahrt erkaufen.(Dies wird aber im Ort fast überall so sein)"

Bei voller Zimmerbelegung ist die Parkplatz-Situation etwas schwierig, weil einfach zu wenig Platz am Berg ist! Alle Autos stehen dann hintereinander auf dem Hof, d.h. spontane Fahrten muss man vorher „anmelden“.

"Good and quiet location. Positive was parking in the yard, rooms were spacious."

The only downside was that the restaurant was closed due to the holidays.

"Liebevoll gestaltetes Guesthouse Gutes Frühstück, early check-in bzw. Late check-out problemlos. Lage ideal, zentral. Supermarkt gegenüber, Apotheke um die Ecke. Wir hatten grösseres Zimmer mit grosser Terrasse mit Meerblick, 2 Liegen, Sonnenschirm.Im November den ganzen Tag sonnig"

"We had a lovely, relaxing time at L'Hirondelle. The accommodation is beautiful, overlooking the lake. Watching the house martins dip and dive was wonderful. And a delicious breakfast was icing on the cake. Many thanks, David and Rosemary"

"Frühstück mit dem selbstgemachten Kuchen war sehr gut! Lage war ein Traum - 2 Meter zum Meer! Vielen lieben Dank an Carol and Joe über diese so wunderschöne Unterkunft und das sehr gute Frühstück. Nachdem wir nach 22 Jahren Ehe wieder nach Bermuda zurückgekommen sind, haben wir Bermuda immer noch als solch wunderschöne Insel erleben dürfen. Wir haben eine jede Sekunde voll genossen und all unsere Freunde wieder getroffen. Watercoulours mit Carol und Joe kann ich jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen und sobald wir es wieder schaffen nach Bermuda zu kommen, hoffen wir wieder eine Unterkunft bei Carol und Joe zu bekommen.
