Bed & Breakfasts in Haiti

"Good location near the main street with bus stop and supermarkets and restaurants. Room is clean and bathroom is newly renovated. Although the room is next to a main street there was no traffic noise. Great with parking included and breakfast included. Good with some cookies and dried wasa bread and coffee is available all day."

The wardrobe in the room was broken, the door cannot be opened. A towel for the floor in the bathroom was missing. The breakfast is a simple business breakfast and not a holiday breakfast buffet. Stairs to come to your room. So if you have luggage it is a bit trouble.

The studio with the two double beds is huge and spotlessly clean. The bathroom is also very spacious. The hostess and host are extremely kind and very respectful of privacy, etc. Optional breakfast is offered - excellent coffee, fresh croissants or pain au chocolate, etc. You can hear the ocean which is some 200 m further."

We liked absolutely everything. We could list many more things we liked like the swimming pool which is long enough to swim into and warm.

Viele Mücken im Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, auch innerhalb des Mückennetzes, obwohl es angeblich gerade wenig Mücken hat. Man kann sich nicht im Liegestuhl an den Strand oder den Pool legen. Etwas unpraktische Einrichtung. Es wird mehr drauf geachtet, dass es schön aussieht als dass es funktioniert. Preis-Leistung passt nicht so ganz.

Die Zufahrt, insbesondere bei Dämmerlicht, ist eine Katastrophe. Es gibt Kaltwasser im Bad. War einziger Gast. Etwas einsam dort. Der Preis ist zu hoch.

Etwas abgelegen aber ruhig und nahe am Flughafen. Tine und Frank sind wunderbare Gastgeber! Tine bereitet auf Wunsch ein leckeres Abendessen zu (10 €/Person), Frank fährt einen sogar schon am frühesten Morgen zum Flughafen (15 €)."

"Es war eine sehr schön Unterkunft. Eine richtige Oase. Werde ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Die Angestellten waren sehr schnell und zuvorkommend, haben wir woanders nicht erlebt. Das Essen war auch sehr gut und auf europäische Gäste ausgerichtet."

Die Klimaanlage ging in einem Zimmer nicht richtig einzustellen und das Wasser war nicht warm, aber sonst war für togolesische Verhältnisse alles sehr gut. Die Zimmer waren einfach, aber sauber. Wir sind viel in Kpalime rumgekommen und habe keine bessere Unterkunft gesehen.

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

Es wird fast kein Englisch durch das Hostel-Personal gesprochen was es mit wenig bis kaum Spanisch Kenntnissen schwieriger macht. Die Gegend fühlt sich vorallem abends (alleine als Frau reisend) nicht ganz so sicher an. War abends nur mit UBER unterwegs.

"Everything was ok, the accommodation is very near to the airport, only about 15 minutes walk, so it´s great if you have long hours to wait for your next flight. Also, you can find many restaurants and cafeterias around and the neighborhood looked good and safe."

"A hotel on a mountain with a great view. Friendly staff. One of the closest to the international airport. The rooms are large, with beautiful furniture. The price is affordable"

"Recht kleine Zimmer in sehr schönem historischem Gebäude. Alles sauber und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, kein Luxushotel aber eine sehr gute Pension."

Das Gebäude ist im Wohngebiet recht schwer zu finden, der Marker auf der Karte ist ca. 100 Meter vom tatsächlichen Ort entfernt, man muss eine Seitenstraße gehen, die auf Google Maps nicht verzeichnet ist (in openstreetmap ist sie da), dort gibt es keine Klingel am Tor und hinter dem Tor wird man vom Hund begrüßt, der jedoch allgemein freundlich ist.

"Die Unterkunft ist in einem Privathaus und daher sehr persönlich. Die Betreiberin ist sehr angenehm, herzlich und bereitet ein sehr ansprechendes und variables Frühstück mit verschiedenen lokalen Spezialitäten zu. Ich war das zweite mal für 10 Tage dort und vermutlich nicht das letzte mal."

"Accommodations are simple but very comfortable. Nice swimming pool right out the hotel room door. Short walk to the water. We really enjoyed diving. My 18yr old son got PADI certified. They did an awesome job with him. Nassar was his instructor. He was awesome! Area was very safe."

No complaints. Please understand that tourism is severely impacted by the Gazan war. Many hotels and restaurants are closed and those that are open often are operating in a limited capacity. For example hotel restaurants might not operate at all. This affects all hotels. There were almost no tourists as of November 2025.
