Die großartige Küche spricht sich natürlich herum. So war es nicht selbstverständlich, dass man selbst in der Nachsaison als Übernachtungsgast zum Abendessen einen Platz im Restaurant bekommt. Wir mussten genauso fragen und ggf. reservieren wie jeder vorbeikommende Tourist. Aber im Endeffekt hat das alles sehr gut geklappt.

"Great breakfast and I like that it was a la carte. I can't say enough about it nor about the staff. Everyone was very courteous, professional, helpful, and accommodating. I also loved the location, only a few minutes from Palais Sans-Souci and Citadelle."

The air conditioning was rationed a bit much

"Very large comfortable room, clean and nice, kitchen available. Proprietor was very kind and helped me when I didn't manage to open the door."

Entrance is hard to find, I first thought I was in the wrong place.

"Friendly owner, clean place, comfortable bed, basic kitchen appliances in the room, as well as in the shared kitchen. Nice little outside seating areas. Quiet location, walking distance to the ferry. You can also rent a car from the owner should you need one."

Not much space in the room to move around, the on suite bathroom was a bit uncomfortable (really just a lil plastic box in the room, kinda see thru and if you wanna take a shower, everything gets wet and the room gets humid) so we opted for the shared bathroom in the hallway. The fan in the shared kitchen didn't work and there aren't many plates/bowls etc.

No complaints. Please understand that tourism is severely impacted by the Gazan war. Many hotels and restaurants are closed and those that are open often are operating in a limited capacity. For example hotel restaurants might not operate at all. This affects all hotels. There were almost no tourists as of November 2025.

Der Straßenlärm im Restaurantbereich

Die Lage war ganz in der Nähe der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten und nur 6 Minuten zu Fuß zum Registan-Platz. Mein Aufenthalt war wunderbar und ich kann es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!“"

"Recht kleine Zimmer in sehr schönem historischem Gebäude. Alles sauber und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, kein Luxushotel aber eine sehr gute Pension."

Das Gebäude ist im Wohngebiet recht schwer zu finden, der Marker auf der Karte ist ca. 100 Meter vom tatsächlichen Ort entfernt, man muss eine Seitenstraße gehen, die auf Google Maps nicht verzeichnet ist (in openstreetmap ist sie da), dort gibt es keine Klingel am Tor und hinter dem Tor wird man vom Hund begrüßt, der jedoch allgemein freundlich ist.

"It felt like a little haven to come home to, somewhere quiet away from the city! The owners (Raquel and her father Jorge) are truly lovely and the staff are always happy to help with anything. I felt very safe staying here especially with the gated entrances. The garden was beautifully kept, consisting of tropical plants and flowers. The food was fresh and the staff made lunch and dinner if requested too. AC worked well, shower was hot, bed was comfy! I unfortunately got struck down with food poisoning on my last day, so we needed to check out later than expected so I could rest - they didn’t bat an eyelid when we asked and even provided me with some fresh watermelon/bread upon request. I sadly left a pair of my special earrings in my room too, and when Whatsapping Raquel, she confirmed her staff had found them and very honestly kept them safe so I could arrange shipping to the UK!"

Nothing we didn’t like, bear in mind it’s a B&B so make sure you get water bottles for the room etc which you can buy there for $1, there isn’t a safe in the room either if you’re considering bringing valuables (not that I didn’t feel safe with my belongings there).

"Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Die Betten sind angenehm zum Schlafen. Der Eingang zu den Pyramiden ist nur 1 minute entfernt. Das Museum GEM Grand Egyptian Museum ist mit dem Auto/Taxi 10 min entfernt. Wir haben 1 Tag die Pyramiden besucht und 1 Tag das Museum GEM. Die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Pyramiden ist sehr schön. Die Stühle und Tische sehen auch gut aus. Dort hatten wir auch unser Frühstück bekommen. Omelette und leckerer Saft, Brot, Frischkäse und Marmelade. Sehr lecker. Dazu Kaffee. Da oben den Sonnenaufgang zu erleben war super. Wir kommen wieder. Die Gastgeber sind 3 Brüder die ihr Elternhaus in ein Hotel verwandelt haben. Richtig chic."
