Bed & Breakfasts in El Salvador

"Good location near the main street with bus stop and supermarkets and restaurants. Room is clean and bathroom is newly renovated. Although the room is next to a main street there was no traffic noise. Great with parking included and breakfast included. Good with some cookies and dried wasa bread and coffee is available all day."

The wardrobe in the room was broken, the door cannot be opened. A towel for the floor in the bathroom was missing. The breakfast is a simple business breakfast and not a holiday breakfast buffet. Stairs to come to your room. So if you have luggage it is a bit trouble.

Liegt oben auf dem Berg, du brauchst ein Auto oder E Bikes. Das Bett ist sehr hart. Sauberkeit ginge besser.

"Very strongly recommend: Airbnb is part of a beautiful villa in safe residential neighbourhood. Private parking on the ground of the villa. The studio with the two double beds is huge and spotlessly clean. The bathroom is also very spacious. The hostess and host are extremely kind and very respectful of privacy, etc. Optional breakfast is offered - excellent coffee, fresh croissants or pain au chocolate, etc. You can hear the ocean which is some 200 m further."

We liked absolutely everything. We could list many more things we liked like the swimming pool which is long enough to swim into and warm.

"Sushma and her husband were really lovely and helpful - milk for the morning coffee, delicious Orange juice and the phone number of a reliable taxi driver 😊 We got great advice to get around in the area without using a car, all in walking distance of 15-30 mins. The bed is very comfortable. A huge bathroom with hot water."

It’s a residential area and in the evening it’s tricky to get a taxi at the main road to go to Grace Bay where you‘ll find most restaurants. To return is easy as there are always taxis at the Ritz Carlton. We didn’t want to rent a car as we only stayed 2 days which was okay in the day but a little tricky in the night.

Einzig die Gäste die in der Nacht anreisen und die Türen zuknallen statt die Klinke zu benutzen. Einige kaputte Duschbecken müssten ausgetauscht werden. Ansonsten 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

"Tolles Hotel. Freundliches Personal. Grosses Zimmer. Haben uns wohlgefühlt. Platz für unsere Motorradausrüstung. Motorräder gesichert im Hof. Unweit ein Klasse Lokal namens Noroc. Frühstück alles was das Herz begehrt. Klimaanlage top. Aussicht schön. Kanns nur empfehlen."

"Traumhafte, weitläufige Anlage, direkt am Wanderweg zum Vulkan. Eher abgeschiedene Lage, ein Auto oder Roller sollte man haben. Man kann aber auch mit Bus oder Taxi anreisen und sich vor Ort einen Roller mieten, er wird in die Finca gebracht. Die Hütten liegen weit auseinander, mit viel Grün dazwischen. Sie sind einfach, aber sehr sauber - darauf kommt es ja an. Die Besitzerin ist sehr hilfsbereit, hat uns die Auto-Fähre gebucht und ist in Vorkasse gegangen. Auch bei Ausflügen ( Kanu-Tour) ist sie behilflich. Frühstück und Abendessen kann dazu gebucht werden. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker."

Die Hütten sind schon sehr einfach ausgestattet. Mit der ersten waren wir nicht zufrieden, die Besitzerin hat uns aber umgehend eine andere angeboten. Nochmals danke dafür.

"I checked out the room and then in the airport I got the news that my flight was delayed for 5 hours. I came back in the hotel and they allowed me to stay in my room. Thanks for understanding. The hotel doesn't offer food though they recommended the good restaurant nearby. They have a driver to arrange a transfer when necessary. So nice when we were in a rush to the airport!I"

I would recommend to renew towels. They were clean but old.

"I had a really lovely stay at Tribute Guest House in Lesotho. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out. The lady at reception was incredibly kind and helpful. On my way to the guest house, my car got stuck in the mud, and she went out of her way to call a driver to check on me and assist. She really didn’t have to do that, but she did, and I truly appreciated it. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. It was a bit cold at times, but that can be forgiven given the area and weather. The location was good and peaceful, which made it easy to relax. The amenities were great, the food was fresh and very enjoyable, and the WiFi worked well the whole time with no connection issues. What I liked most was the genuine care and kindness from the staff, along with how comfortable the stay was overall. There wasn’t much I didn’t like, except for the slight cold in the room. I would definitely book again, especially with my family next time."

"Great breakfast and I like that it was a la carte. I can't say enough about it nor about the staff. Everyone was very courteous, professional, helpful, and accommodating. I also loved the location, only a few minutes from Palais Sans-Souci and Citadelle."

The air conditioning was rationed a bit much

"Direkt an Strand und man kann gut in die Stadt gehen. Zitas Place ist gleich um die Ecke."

Viele Mücken im Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, auch innerhalb des Mückennetzes, obwohl es angeblich gerade wenig Mücken hat. Man kann sich nicht im Liegestuhl an den Strand oder den Pool legen. Etwas unpraktische Einrichtung. Es wird mehr drauf geachtet, dass es schön aussieht als dass es funktioniert. Preis-Leistung passt nicht so ganz.

"Die Lage ist perfekt, das Personal sehr nett, die Rezeption 24/7 besetzt und man kann bis 11:00 Uhr frühstücken - plus das Frühstück ist sehr lecker."

Es gibt keinen Lift, aber das war für uns völlig okay.

"Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Die Betten sind angenehm zum Schlafen. Der Eingang zu den Pyramiden ist nur 1 minute entfernt. Das Museum GEM Grand Egyptian Museum ist mit dem Auto/Taxi 10 min entfernt. Wir haben 1 Tag die Pyramiden besucht und 1 Tag das Museum GEM. Die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Pyramiden ist sehr schön. Die Stühle und Tische sehen auch gut aus. Dort hatten wir auch unser Frühstück bekommen. Omelette und leckerer Saft, Brot, Frischkäse und Marmelade. Sehr lecker. Dazu Kaffee. Da oben den Sonnenaufgang zu erleben war super. Wir kommen wieder. Die Gastgeber sind 3 Brüder die ihr Elternhaus in ein Hotel verwandelt haben. Richtig chic."

Frühstück war etwas einfach und unpersönlich. Wenig Kommunikation. Einzelheiten waren zu schmal/ zu kurz.
