"Paea hat uns herzlich bei sich aufgenommen. Das Zimmer ist in der Nähe vom Nuku Alofa Stadtzentrum und in der Nähe zum Hafen, perfekt für Whale Watching/Swimming! Dazu bietet Paea Inseltouren an und kann viele Tipps geben. Wir waren mit ihr bei einem traditionellen Dinner und wurden von ihr in den traditionellen Hochzeitsgewändern eingekleidet. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Sehr gutes WLAN!"

Ab und zu laut in der Nacht wegen der Streuner. Das ist aber eher der Insel geschuldet.

"Durch die Lage am Hügel hat man eine wunderschöne Aussieht aufs Meer!! Die Unterkunft bietet komfortabl Platz und ist durchdacht und sauber! Der Strand ist zu Fuß in 3 Minuten erreichbar und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Auch Touren (Kajak, Tauchen, Schnorcheln) sind gleich am Strand buchbar. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und unterstützen wo auch immer nötig. Die Küche verfügt über alles Nötige und es gibt auch eine Waschmaschine, die von den Gästen genutzt werden kann."

"Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis in einem unglaublich prachtvollem Haus aus dem 18. Jh. architektonischen ein Schmuckstück. Allerdings auch der generellen Zustand aus der Zeit, nie renoviert, entsprechend unkomfortabel, Bad, WC siehe Fotos, Zimmertür nicht versperrbar., nicht sehr hygienisch. Handtuch und Leintuch als Deckenüberzug bekam ich auf Anfrage. Für Abenteuerlustige, die das nicht stört ein Traum, für Menschen, die ein bequemes Hotel bevorzugen nicht geeignet. Freundlicher Besitzer, konnte Motorrad im Foyer abstellen. Lage super in der Medina. Beste Zimmerwahl ist Zweibettzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad, sehr schön und besserer Zustand als die anderen."

"Debbie was very nice and the place was clean. We received a warm welcome."

I did not like that there were no mats on the bedroom floor or kitchen. No dish soap, no hands soap, no paper towel or even a kitchen towel. I been to one air BNB and two hotels and only blue star provided nothing for their guests. I was shocked but it is what it is. I learnt so I know now what to expect should I book it against. All in all it was a great stay and a beautiful place.

"Absolutely wonderful stay. The place was spotless, and everything was clearly very well cared for. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting, yet the location was excellent and very convenient. The room layout was very practical and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to feel comfortable right away. The internet was extremely fast and reliable. The bathroom was a real highlight — a fantastic shower with both a rain shower and a movable shower head, and the water pressure was excellent. The host was friendly, attentive, and very responsive to any questions. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this place."

"Die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich und hat uns gute Tipps zur U-Bahn und zu mehreren leckeren Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung gegeben. Die Wohnung war ruhig, wir hatten das Bad für uns alleine und mit der U-Bahn war das Zentrum gut erreichbar. Außerdem gibt's an der U-Bahn-Station einen leckeren Bäckerstand!"

Da die Wohnung unter dem Dach war, war es abends anfangs recht warm, bis die Luft von außen es wieder abgekühlt hat.

"Sehr zentrale Lage, in der Nähe gibt es kostenlose Parkplätze (äußerer Straßenring, ca. 12 min entfernt), Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit, antwortet schnell. Die Unterkunft ist dazu sehr schön und die Zimmer recht groß!"

"We are visiting from Australia and this was a perfect place to stay for over a week. Lovely host who was so kind. The guesthouse is only a 5 min walk to a lovely restaurant and another 5 mins to centre of town yet it’s so peaceful. Room was very clean and comfortable with great aircon. A lounge area is available with tea/coffee, fridge and microwave. Lovely outdoor seating area. I highly recommend this beautiful guesthouse."

Everything was great

"Elvis and Claudia are wonderful hosts. Helping you out with their local knowledge, lifts to different places in Georgetown and advice on what to do. The rooms come with a very quiet AC and a comfortable bed. The area is safe and a local store is less than 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast of scrambled eggs with toast was just what I wanted. While they advertised a check-in and out time they are very flexible. Free Tea and coffee was supplied in the dining room."

Remember to bring PG Tips 😉.

"Wir hatten das Zimmer zum Innenhof, dadurch zwar wenig Tageslicht, aber totale Ruhe, genau das was wir wollten. Es gibt eine Küche und eine schöne Terrasse. Die Inhaberin ist sehr hilfsbereich und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben. Sehr gute Betten."

"Was für ein tolles Hostel! Sehr familiär, super nette Gastgeber, gutes Bett, Heizung, sehr sauberes Zimmer mit schönem Badezimmer. Unschlagbares Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Ich blieb nur eine Nacht, aber mir wurde am Abend gegen eine kleine Gebühr noch meine Wäsche gewaschen, sodass ich morgens wieder frische Klamotten hatte. Oskar fuhr mich sogar gegen eine kleine Gebühr zu meinem Gepäck und anschließend zum Flughafen für umgerechnet 6€, was nichts im Vergleich zum Taxipreis ist. So ein toller Aufenthalt, nette Gespräche, bin froh diesen Ort gefunden zu haben :-)"

"Ich buchte das Hotel für meine Radtrip durch die USA und wollte vor der Grenze übernachten. Die Unterkunft ist nicht ganz einfach zu finden, insbesondere der Eingang mit der Codebox ist gut versteckt (um das Haus herum und die Treppe hinunter (quasi Kellereingang). Abgesehen von den Startschwierigkeiten war die Unterkunft gut für die Durchreise."

"Staff were very friendly and werw available for any kind of help. Cleanliness was also good enough including bathrooms. Price was very reasonable. And the location was also on very good spot, kind of centre location to visit the important places in beirut. The highlight were the staff and their behavior. It was a pleasant experience in that hotel."

Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.

"Warmherzige und hilfsbereite Gastgeber die uns mit einem tollen Frühstück und abends mit einem leckerem Menü in einem gemütlichen Esszimmer verwöhnt haben. Die Zimmer sind einfach und sauber. Das Haus liegt direkt an einem wunderschönen Palmenhain in dem man ausgedehnte Spaziergänge unternehmen kann - und unbedingt sollte! Ausflüge in die Dades und Todhra Schlucht von hier aus gut möglich"

Alles war prima.

"Die Lage ist top! Man ist in 2 Gehminuten beim Wadi Shab. Die Terasse ist riesig und man sitzt direkt über dem Meer. Das Personal war ebenfalls toll und sehr hilfreich! Joel hat uns nach dem Besuch im Wadi sogar noch ein Frühstück gemacht, obwohl wir schon hätten auschecken müssen."

Das Zimmer ist eher steril, die Beleuchtung grell. Das Badezimmer hat eine Dusche im Raum (keine Duschkabine).
