"Es war einer der besten Plätze wo ich auf meiner reise gewohnt habe.wer so wie ich die Herzlichkeit dem Luxus vorzieht ist dort genau richtig.herzliche Menschen in einer familiären Atmosphäre mit einem wunderbaren Frühstück welches so umfangreich war dass ich es gar nicht alles essen konnte.aber man kann es auch einfach für den tag aufheben. Ich würde immer wieder dortcwohnen und bin froh dass ich so lange dort geblieben bin"

Conveniently located walking distance from the port, but still in quiet and private location. We felt straight at home. The hosts gave us great tips for the island and even booked our St Valentine restaurant for us."

I did not like that there were no mats on the bedroom floor or kitchen. No dish soap, no hands soap, no paper towel or even a kitchen towel. I been to one air BNB and two hotels and only blue star provided nothing for their guests. I was shocked but it is what it is. I learnt so I know now what to expect should I book it against. All in all it was a great stay and a beautiful place.

"If you are more a visitor then a tourist, if you like exploring and going further when comfortable tourism ends, this place is for you. The authenticity, genuine friendliness and welcoming hearts of the people of the community made this stay incredibly unique and one of the best experiences of my life. When staying here one can get closer to locals, animals, cultural sights, traditions, local way of life, nature and the PNG culture in general then in any other accommodation. The PNGFE made my stay very comfortable and made me experience local life and the raw nature of PNG!!"

"Super nette Gastgeberin und Personal - Lage etwas dezentral , zu Fuß alles machbar - schöne Dachterrasse Frühstücken in der Nähe machbar"

"Sehr zentrale Lage, direkt in der Altstadt. Fenster sind schallisoliert, insofern bekommt man nur "wenig" mit von draußen. Ganz geräuschfrei ist es allerdings nicht. Als Unterkunft "nur zum Schlafen" sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr gute Seifenprodukte und gute Handtücher."

Die Fenster sind nicht zu 100% zu verdunkeln. Es bleibt "dämmerig", da nur ein Rollo und kein Vorhang vorhanden ist.

"Elvis and Claudia are wonderful hosts. Helping you out with their local knowledge, lifts to different places in Georgetown and advice on what to do. The rooms come with a very quiet AC and a comfortable bed. The area is safe and a local store is less than 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast of scrambled eggs with toast was just what I wanted. While they advertised a check-in and out time they are very flexible. Free Tea and coffee was supplied in the dining room."

"Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis in einem unglaublich prachtvollem Haus aus dem 18. Jh. architektonischen ein Schmuckstück. Allerdings auch der generellen Zustand aus der Zeit, nie renoviert, entsprechend unkomfortabel, Bad, WC siehe Fotos, Zimmertür nicht versperrbar., nicht sehr hygienisch. Handtuch und Leintuch als Deckenüberzug bekam ich auf Anfrage. Für Abenteuerlustige, die das nicht stört ein Traum, für Menschen, die ein bequemes Hotel bevorzugen nicht geeignet. Freundlicher Besitzer, konnte Motorrad im Foyer abstellen. Lage super in der Medina. Beste Zimmerwahl ist Zweibettzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad, sehr schön und besserer Zustand als die anderen."
