"Man übernachtet auf einem Boot in der Marina, alle Bars und Restaurants in Laufweite, trotzdem angenehm ruhig gelegen. Die Kajüten sind nicht groß, also nix für Reisende mit viel Gepäck, dafür sehr gemütlich. Morgens gibt’s nen tollen Blick über die Marina auf The Rock. Auf dem Boot kann man verschiedene Getränke kaufen, es ist hilfreich wenn man Pfund einstecken hat. Frühstück ist im Preis inbegriffen und wird im Restaurant The Ship serviert. Für Gibraltar eine bezahlbare Variante für eine Übernachtung. Kostenpflichtige Parkhäuser sind fünf Minuten zu Fuß entfernt."

Nur zur Info für Reisende: An Bord gibt es Toiletten für das kleine Geschäft. Duschen und alles andere erledigt man in der Anlage der Marina, ca. 3 Minuten zu Fuß.

"Die Unterkunft ist einfach toll. Zudem sind die Vermieter (Ger und seine Familie) sehr freundlich und immer da wenn man sie braucht. Bis auf einen Fernseher ist alles an Bord was man so braucht. Es ist sehr sauber und wenn man sich an die Spülung der Toilette gewöhnt hat ist alles klar. Nur die Dusche ist etwas zu klein für breite Menschen. Aber das ist auf Hausbooten dem Platzangebot geschuldet. Wir waren zu viert und haben gut Platz gefunden. Leider haben wir den super Spielplatz, der nur zwei Minuten entfernt ist, erst am letzten Morgen entdeckt."

"Personal ist super freundlich, die Zimmer sehr sauber. Bar / Restaurant ist bis 23:00 Uhr geöffnet, Pizzen sind top. Etwas klein sind die Kajüten, ist aber auch irgendwie gemütlich. Frühstück ist guter Standard. Anbindung Linie 2 oder 17 Straßenbahn zur Innenstadt sind 400m entfernt."

Wasserkocher mit Tee/Kaffee in den Zimmern wäre gut. Getränkeauswahl Rezeption leicht erhöhen und ein paar Snacks angenehm. 😁

"Helpful and friendly staff. Good place to chill, sauna was good. It was windy days, so some noise was, but atmosphere was better :) Here also you can take a boat ride on the lake"

"Vieta super!!! Sagaidīja mūs jauns feins puisis kas visu pastāstīja un parādīja. Ļoti forša vieta,viss tīrs un kajītē viss nepieciešamais. Bijām ar bērniem,bērni stāvā sajūsmā tā pat kā mēs. Iesaku visiem. Noteikti atgriezīsimies."

"The Sailboat Ragamuffin is a unique experience. You are staying in a sailboat moored off of Water Island, where your hosts live after sailing the Caribbean for 30 years. They are a font of information and anecdotes about the US virgin islands and others. Jo is an accomplished chef and strives to give you the food types you desire. They pick you up by dinghy on the Crown Marina dock, and will take you by dinghy over to Water Island. In my case, I had two berths (bedrooms and bathrooms) on the boat, rocked to sleep by the rolling of the boat on the water. Don't miss going to water island, golf cart to Limestone Beach (coral reef) and Honeymoon Beach (the latter has turtles swimming around)"

The listing didn't make it quite clear what the accommodation would be - it described an apartment and a pool view. I thought it might be a houseboat on a dock. The pool view is the sea around the boat!
