"Beautiful setting amongst lush vegetation. Fantastic rooms and bungalows with a wooden construction and lovingly updated for tourism. Lovely place to relax and unwind. Quiet location, but either a 10-15minute walk to Chethy beach, which is huge and deserted or a 5 minute tuk-tuk ride to Marari beach where there are more snack shacks and facilities."

Would have liked a kettle to make tea/coffee and a fridge, but don’t let that minor detail put you off…it’s beautiful.

Ist jetzt nicht wirklich negativ, aber man sollte wissen, dass im Ort kein Supermarkt, Restaurant oder sonst was ist.

"The view from restaurant is awsome, not many places in the world like this. Maria took care of us with love. Breakfast excellent, local fruits, tea and coffee, omelette. Excellent grilled tuna or other fish for lunch or dinner. Cottage was clean, with a view on ocean. We were almost alone there. It is possible to pay by eur or dobra. Maria also arranged tacxi for the airport."

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.

"Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und groß. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr schön und ruhig, der Pool ist super und die Lage auch gut geeignet, vor allem wenn man die Sehenswürdigkeiten auf der West Bank erkunden will. Wir empfehlen sehr, vom Restaurant auch mal zu Fuß unterwegs zu sein, man erreicht in ca. 20 Minuten die Nil-Promenade, wo man verschiedenste Läden und Restaurants sowie eine günstige öffentliche Fähre auf die East Bank findet, die direkt vor dem Luxor Museum anlegt und nur wenige EGP p. P. kostet. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, das Essen (wir haben das Frühstück und die frischen Säfte probiert) haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!"

Weniger gut waren unsere Erfahrungen (nicht nur in diesem Hotel) mit den vom Hotel organisierten Driver. Die sind im Verhältnis zu dem was über Uber und InDrive usw. möglich ist wahnsinnig teuer und gar nicht mal so zuverlässig. Wir würden also sehr empfehlen, Taxis lieber selbst zu organisieren.

"Parakklesia hat eine tolle Lage für alle Aktivitäten. Sowohl Ausflüge als auch verschiedene Strände sind sind top zu erreichen. Mit eine Mietwagen selbstverständlich. Die Ortschaft hat reichlich kleine Supermärkte und Restaurants die fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Die Vermieter Aristos und Maria sind unübertrefflich nett. Sie sind unheimlich hilfsbereit und finden für alles eine Lösung Immer erreichbar. Es gab Wein, Milch, Obst und ein Tabletten mot Kaffee, Tee und allem was dazu gehört. Das reichte uns für 9 Tage!"

"Die Gastgeber haben uns mit selbstgebackenem Brot, frischen Eiern, Butter und Konfitüre versorgt. Das Haus selbst hat aufgrund seines ursprünglichen Zwecks nach dem Umbau seinen ganz besonderen Charme. In der Küche war alles vorhanden und alles war sehr geräumig und sauber. Aufgrund der Lage außerhalb des Ortes war es angenehm ruhig."

Es gab nichts auszusetzen.

"Sehr schöne Ferienwohnungen auf zwei Etagen mit großen Panoramafenstern. Der Hausbesitzer war immer erreichbar und hat uns alles sehr gut erklärt beim Bezug der Wohnung. In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Ich würde die Wohnung immer wieder buchen."

Die Mitarbeiter waren einigermaßen freundlich, aber ansonsten vollkommen desinteressiert. Die Hütte selber ist abends sehr dunkel, da nur eine Glühbirne vorhanden ist. Das Essen war sehr günstig und lecker.

"Todo perfecto, desde el trato con Isabel que fue de 10, gracias por sus consejos y simpatía ya conocemos Vejer…el alojamiento super, con parking privado, una habitación cómoda, la cocina muy completa y todo fenomenal, gran experiencia, lástima no poder quedarnos más días."

Pues la verdad no se me ocurre nada, voy con mucho flow.

"Location and ambience was super. Staff was helpful. Owner was very nice and he met me at the resort. Offered me tea and date and took me to the tour of entire resort"

Cleanliness could be improved. Flies and mosquitoes due to location. You need to keep fly and mosquitoes repellent

"Günstiges Appartement mit allem, was man braucht. Outdoorküche mit 2 Elektro-Herdplatten, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Klimaanlage. 2 Große Handtücher und Bügeleisen. Sehr ruhige Lage abseits vom Straßenlärm. Ausreichende Parkplätze. Tolle bequeme Federkernmatratze."

Es sind immer die Kleinigkeiten die stören: So gab es einen Fernseher und zwei gute Sessel, aber keinen Tisch oder Kommode, um etwas abzustellen. Kein Schneidebrett für Obst oder Gemüse und kein Geschirrtuch. Die Eingangstür klemmt und ließ sich schlecht öffnen und schließen. Das könnte alles leicht behoben werden und hätte von mir eine viel bessere Bewertung gegeben. Die Zufahrt von der Landstraße bezeichne ich als "Offroad" und ist eher gewöhnungsbedürftig und nur im Schritttempo zu befahren.
