Landhäuser in Litauen

"Ein einmaliges, vermutlich, altes Stallgebäude. Fantastisch renoviert und modern eingerichtet. Im Gemeinschaftsraum gab es einen tollen Kamin und eine Küche. Diese war eingerichtet. Leider hatten viele Gegenstände schon Gebrauchsspuren. Der Vermieter war außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Grundstück."

Man konnte leider die Wärme im Schlafzimmer nicht regulieren. Da wir sonst immer mit offenen Fenster schlafen war das recht schwierig. Im Bad gab es keine Fußbodenheizung. In die Dusche sind wir erst als das Wasser ein wenig lief und die Fliesen angewärmt waren.

Surprisingly it was still cold on nights of May, probably as the cabin locates on a mountain. The air conditioner was a bit noisy.

"Zum zweiten Mal haben wir in Wendys tollem Gästehaus übernachtet. 3 Tage haben wir die tolle Lage, die Ruhe und die überaus herzlichen Gastgeber genossen. Das alltägliche Frühstück von der Mama des Hauses war ein Traum. Selten haben wir uns so daheim gefühlt. Die Umgebung bietet perfekte Ausflugsziele, wenn Natur und Tierwelt im Fokus stehen! Herzlichen Dank für die Gastlichkeit in einer typisch costaricanischen Landschaft!"

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.

"Der Gastgeber war superfreundlich und hat uns sehr weitergeholfen! Er hat uns sogar persönlich zum Strand begleitet, damit wir den schnellsten Weg dorthin gefunden haben. Tolle Unterkunft!"

"Das Gebäude scheint zwar älter zu sein, von innen bietet es aber eine sehr schöne Architektur. Sehr helle Räume und tolle Ausblicke. Das Frühstück war wirklich gut und frisch (allerdings etwas spät ab 8:00 und dauerte recht lange). Das Personal war total nett und hilfsbereit."

Die Möglichkeit sich selbst einen Kaffee oder Tee zu machen gab es im Zimmer leider nicht. Ein Kühlschrank war vorhanden, aber nicht in Betrieb... dies hätte vom Personal vorab eingeschaltet werden können. Die Eingangstür funktioniert nicht richtig (klemmte und konnte von mir nicht richtig verschlossen werden)

"Sehr schönes altes Herrenhaus.Authendische Einrichtung. Der Komplex kann nicht besichtigt werden, jedoch einige Häuser in der Nähe, gegen geringen Eintritt. Abendessen muss man vorbestellen, war gut."

Frühstück nicht für den europäischen Geschmack ausgerichtet, wir hatten nur Kaffee und der war nicht gut.

"Perfekter Aufenthalt – sehr empfehlenswert! Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel rundum genossen. Das Personal war in allen Belangen äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit – man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Besonders wertvoll waren die vielen tollen Tipps, die ich für Ausflüge in die Umgebung erhalten habe. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal: In kürzester Zeit erreicht man sowohl die charmante Stadt Aveiro als auch die wunderschönen, kilometerlangen Strände der Region – perfekt für Erholung oder aktive Unternehmungen. Auch das Frühstück war ein Highlight: Eine gesunde Auswahl mit frischem Obst, Joghurt und leckeren lokalen Spezialitäten – ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Ich kann dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen und komme gerne wieder!"

"Die Lage im Grünen , sehr ruhig. Zimmer sehr geräumig. Frühstück grosszügig. Dinner sehr gut und nicht teurer als in anderen Restaurants."

Für meinen Geschmack fehlendes Obst und Yoghurt und Müsli bei Frühstück. Bin vegetarisch, daher habe ich gerne auch Käse zum Frühstück. Wanne statt Dusche.
