"Der Weg war unter Wasser, zu Fuss musste man knöcheltiel durch Wasser waten. Dies lag aber an den extremen Regenfällen, die ja eine Ausnahme sind."

"Tolle kleine Oase. Alles ungezwungen und locker, wie wir es mögen. Bungalow hat die perfekte Größe. Küchezeile gut ausgestattet. Manchmal war die Dusche fast warm :) Der Weg in die Stadt ist super kurz. Dennoch ist es in der Unterkunft (verglichen mit der sehr lauten Stadt) sehr ruhig. Die sechs Hunde waren toll und herzig und sehr gut erzogen."

"Leider war die Hinterlassenschaften der vielen Hunde überall im schönen Garten verteilt und sie kamen nicht hinterher mit dem Aufsammeln, vor allem morgens/vormittags (ich wollte yoga machen) lagen sie überall. Polster der Möbel im Garten durch die Feuchtigkeit leider verschimmelt."

"Eine schön ruhig, aber zentral gelegene Unterkunft. Es gibt 3 Bungalows und einen wunderschön entspannenden Garten mit Pool. Die Erholung ist also garantiert. Die Hilfsbereitschaft der Hosts ist unglaublich! Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen."

"We’ve been coming to Las Terrenas for 20 years and have experienced quite a few accommodations. This year was our first stay at "Casa Barbara". The property is away from the noise and, with only three bungalows, it's peaceful and clearly arranged. Drinking water is automatically refilled by the host and not charged. Electricity, internet, and hot water are stable. Even though the beach is only a 5-minute walk away, the pool is a great alternative on cloudy days. There are plenty of shaded lounging and seating areas, and coffee and cold water are also available by the pool. The cleaning lady does an excellent job. The kitchen is very well equipped by Dominican hotel standards—we didn’t miss a thing during our two-week stay. After this experience, Casa Barbara will be the only place we stay."

"We loved our stay and especially the doggitos that greeted us. This place has a great location and really good ammenities! The only thing that I wish was a bit different was the metallic smell in the bathroom which i assume came from the water pipes. Else this was superb!"

"Loved this place. Little bungalow, with own entrance, equipped to European standards, with air con, cooking facilities, hot water etc. Private and quiet. Short(ish) walk to beach, restaurants and shops. Unusual pool set in lovely garden."
