"This is the *perfect* place to stay in Montanita, especially if you're a surfer. The location is ideal -- far enough from the downtown that it's peaceful and quiet, yet close enough that you can still go out to party if you want. It's located directly in front of the main surf spot, with a bar/restaurant overlooking the break. It's a good surf spot for both beginners and experienced surfers. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a lovely shared terrace, and the pool and hot tub and general ambience are all great. The GM Chincho, receptionist Lizbeth, bartender Cristhian, and all the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and easy-going -- they were constantly making sure I had everything I needed. Chincho also has a great selection of surfboards for rent at reasonable prices. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. Long story short, this is the place you want to be. I plan to return with friends and rent out the whole house."

"The location is perfect. In front of the La punta (for the surf)the crew that works there are very nice and helpful, the owner Jeff is super chill and kinde. It’s on the corner of the beach you far from noise of the city . Little peace of heaven. The room have air conditioning and tv . The bar / restaurant is on the beach . You have to come check it out. Obstbäume, Sträucher und Kräuterbete sind gepflegt. Im Pool hat man eine fantastische Aussicht in die Berge. Hängematten an schönen Plätzen sind ausreichend vorhanden."
