"Das Frühstück gab es sogar auf dem Zimmer. Die Putzfrau verausgabt sich, um alles sauber zu halten. Die sanitären Anlagen sind gut in Schuss. Fast immer hat man gutes Wlan im gesamten Gebäude. Die Lage ist optimal, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Addis Ababa zu erkunden. Manager Biruk ist immer zur Stelle bzw. per WhatsApp erreichbar und hilft mit Rat und Tat."

"Die Universitäten an Siddist und Arat Kilo sind zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich, freundlich und reagierte schnell auf Fragen. Die Zimmer waren suoer sauber und die Einrichtung funktional. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt. Am letzten wurde ich vom Pensionsmanager zum Flughafen gebracht."

"Einzige Kritik: Die Pension wäre perfekt, wenn es leiser wäre (1 Bar mit lauter Musik bis ca. 22 Uhr hinter der Pension). Am Ankunftstag muss man genau auf die Anreiseinstruktionen achten, da der Name der Pension nicht außen am Gebäude markiert ist."

"Very good value for money accommodation in a very central location - it's possible to walk to many of the main attractions, churches, museums etc. Easy to communicate with the host. They arranged a free transfer from the airport because I stayed several nights."

"Location is perfect. Great area to explore Addis. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. The service of Biruk is amazing and very kind. One evening he invited me for a beer and we went out together. Also the lady who prepares breakfast and cleans is so kind and helpful. Many restaurants and bars around. Great guesthouse!!"

"Stayed for 2 weeks - Biruk and his team were amazing - attentive, hard-working, and accommodating. Went on several day tours with Biruk - he is a great student of history and his tours were informative and fun - he’s a trustworthy guide I’d use again and again. Excellent tours of Unity Park, Mt Entoto, Merkato, and had lunch at the first hotel in the city. The breakfast room was also a great place to meet fellow travelers. There is a bank just downstairs with an ATM and several nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk - directly across the street from the National Museum - To be expected, occasionally electric or water is paused in neighborhoods or areas of the city - the team was very responsive with bottled water and additional light sources - Do bring earplugs as the school next door can have some exuberant students - overall really great place to stay - Amazing visit, tours and team - I will stay here again on my next visit to Addis -"

"My stay at the Betsi B&B was simply great and I will certainly stay there again when I'll return to Addis. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is hot water both in the shower and at the sink. The location of the B&B in Arat Kilo is very good. It is in walking distance to Addis Ababa University. One can even walk from there to Piazza and Unity Park (or one hops onto a minibus or taxi for a few minutes). The manager of the B&B, Biruk, is incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure that I had a good and comfortable stay. He picked me up from the airport, organised taxi rides, showed me around town and even ran errands for me. Hardly have I met someone with such high standards towards customer satisfaction."

"Betsi B&B was an excellent choice for us during our stay in Addis. It is close to the University area so really convenient for anyone visiting there. It is also close to some really good local restaurants. The rooms are basic but well equipped and even have a small kitchen area which is handy. The whole place is really clean. The breakfasts were simple but perfectly adequate, toast, butter, jam, scrambled egg, tea - all fresh. The staff there were wonderful. From the sweet, humble cleaning lady to Biruk the manager. Biruk went out of his way to help us... He is a very genuine individual, good company and cannot do enough for you. He took us out on a day trip around Addis and also came with us on various outings to help us find things to buy and get fair prices. I would definitely go back if I visited again."
