"Diese Unterkunft ist wahrscheinlich eine der schönsten Unterkünfte in denen ich jemals war. Der Ausblick ist toll und das Haus ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Remy hat sich toll um uns gekümmert und sehr lecker für uns gekocht!"

"Keine Kritik, nur zwei Warnungen: 1. Da es mitten in der Natur ist, gibt es ein paar Krabbeltiere (Skorpione, kleine und große Spinnen). Keine Sorge, keine ist tödlich und Remy kommt euch retten. 2. Man braucht zumindest in der Regenzeit ein ordentliches Allrad um hin zu kommen. Rein ist die Straße leichter als raus."

"Wenn man mal wirklich abschalten möchte ist man hier genau richtig. Einfach nur auf der Terrasse sitzen und in die Landschaft schauen. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft."

"Die Anfahrt ist schon sehr abenteuerlich, besonders wenn man selber fährt. Man braucht auf jeden Fall einen guten 4x4 . Aber das stand ja auch in den Beschreibungen."

"The place is magical. Serene with great views. All the travels to and from Mountain Nest and to Semuc Champey were organizedized perfectly. Ideal for a romantic retreat. The last 200 m is walking - so be prepared. The less baggage the better. The caregiver Carlos helped us with that as well."

"Mountain nest was a wonderful stay! It’s a little off the beaten track! It does require a walk down a path to get to the cabin, but once you get there the view is breathtaking. The cabin is very well equipped and has some beers/wine that you can purchase. We also bought some small snacks from the neighbours shop, however if you want something more would advise bringing with you! We loved the ethos of the cabin and really enjoyed reading about it in the books provided. It feels close to nature and involved in the local community which we loved. Remi was an incredible host, and helped us out multiple times with travel and organisation!! Carlos was also lovely! And made our stay very enjoyable!"
