"We had a great time at Diamond Gem Residence. During our arrival Jules was there to guide us and we had a very nice talk. We surly will come back again to this lovely place."

"This is a family recreational resort with some dorms. Mine was inside the main building near the inside pool and table tennis area. The showers and two toilets are those used by the pool guests. I was fortunate to have only one female dorm mate. There are lockers outside in the hallway and you are given a room key. The manager kindly lent me sheets. I liked the location in the woods not far from the pedestrian street."

The kitchen could use some new utensils. There were no cups or glasses, just some plastic cups.

Es ist unklar, dass es sich bei den Parkplätzen, um öffentliche Parkplätze handelt, welche zudem sehr beschränkt verfügbar sind. Einchecken war eher mühsam. Standort auf Google-Maps ist falsch!

"Sehr nette, zuvorkommende Gastgeber ! Die alte Villa hat sehr viel Charme , so dass wir uns gleich wohl gefühlt haben! Man kann drinnen und draußen essen . Es wird Frühstück angeboten, aber wir konnten auch unsere eigenen Sachen in der Gemeinschaftsküche nutzen . Alles sehr flexibel! Herzlichen Dank !"

"We loved the courtyard where we had our breakfast which we put together from supplies from a nearby supermarket and the street fruit vendors. As shown on the wesite, the courtyard is a truly delightful spot, especially in a sunny morning, and important if you wish to eat or chat with your fellow travellers, as our rooms were too small for that. The staff were kind an helpful, and the daily room service and available linen service, ensured a clean room (and clean clothes). The location was close to where our conference was held and in a short walking distance the the lakeside, parliament house etc. Other city sights, the Plaza shopping mall, etc were usually an inexpensive taxi ride away."

The absence of wi-fi and difficulties getting an internet connection the courtyard and my room was a real inconvenience, only solved by purchasing a local sim and forgetting about my usual roaming arrangement for keeping in touch with family back home.

"Die Lage in der Nähe vom Flughafen ist sehr gut für einen kurzen Aufenthalt, Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und bietet auch den Transfer an. Villa-Komplex hat einen super schönen Obstgarten und mehrere Gebäude."

Leider keine richtige Parkmöglichkeiten, in dem Zimmer war einen komischen Geruch (evtl. von der Kanalisation?). Wasser ist eher kalt im Gemeinschaftsbad, ich habe lange gewartet, ist aber nicht wärmer geworden. Dusche war sehr klein, eher einen Duschkopf an der Wand seitlich von der Toilettenschüssel, ohne Vorhang oder Abtrennung, nicht besonders bequem, sehr platzsparend. Eine Nacht kann man überleben, Daueraufenthalt wäre für mich ohne richtiges Duschen nicht möglich.

"The staff was very friendly, helpful & efficient Lots of good places to eat, supermarket with imported goods & sundry shops all at walking distance There's a mini refrigerator, ironing board & washing machine for such a good price!"

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times

"Keeps its promises. The owner, Mr Fadiga saved my life after the Radisson hotel had cancel my booking (and the booking of 30+ guests) without informing us of this in advance. Facing the emergency situation, Mr Fadiga kindly confirmed and ensure there would be a room available for me. He told me that Mr Manet would pick me up from the airport and all promises were kept. Mr Manet was professional, friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. He took me everyday to the the conference I had come to attend (1 hour away) and back. He was always punctual and easy to reach. This was an excellent service. The room was very large and clean. The hot water tank, air con and TV worked perfectly."

"Sehr gutes Frühstück mit regionalen Grundlagen. Die Atmosphäre ist einzigartig. Obwohl Dusche und Toiletten in extra Gebäude für uns kein Problem - war immer alles sauber und sowohl Damen- wie Herrenduschraum beheizt. Sauna am Meer und eine Grillhütte die wir auch bei Sturm benutzen konnten. Kohle und Anzündhilfe wurden vom Vermieter zur Verfügung gestellt."

"Ruhige Lage, wunderschöne Aussicht, Joyce ist eine herzliche Dame, man hat sie sofort ins Herz geschlossen, ein wunderschönes Guesthouse, man konnte richtig abschalten, im Pool kann man richtig entspannen, nach Bedarf kann man von Frühstück bis Abendessen sich lecker bekochen lassen zu einem guten Preis Leistung Verhältnis, auch Getränke konnte man bestellen, sehr leckeren Rum Punch bereitet Joyce zu. Das Zimmer mit Balkon war sehr komfortabel und man hat sich richtig wohl gefühlt. Auch das Bad war groß. Alles in allem ein sehr zu empfehlende Unterkunft, man fühlt sich sehr wohl."

"Es ist Zentral. Die Mitarbeiter bzw. Besitzer des Hostels sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde immer wieder hier übernachten."

Bei der Ankunft gab es am verschlossenen Tor keine Möglichkeit, sich bemerkbar zu machen, es half nur ein Anruf, was ohne marokkanische SIM teuer ist, Frühstück war einfach, aber für 2 Tage ausreichend

"If you're looking for a quiet place, Villa Serenity by the Water is where you need to go... and yet, it's just a throw of stone away from shops and busy places... as for the breakfast, I must say I've enjoyed the sweetest omelette ever, accompanied with a selection of fruits/yoghurt/toasts... exactly what I needed to start my next journey on the right foot !!!... apart from that, rooms are large, very well quiped and nicely decorated... making your stay real enjoyable !"

I found it a little difficult to adjust temperature in the shower as it is a sophisticated model with thermostat... but had I stayed longer, I would have asked for advice and I'm sure I would have mastered the issue !

"Inhaber Vladimir öffnet einem die Türen für Almaty. Von der Onay-Karte für den öffentlichen Nahverkehr (Bus und Metro), über Ausflüge bestellen oder das preisgünstige Taxi. Das spart einem viel Zeit und lässt einen schneller vor Ort ankommen."
