"Very nice host, trying to accommodate all my requests. Very authentic stay close to the volcano. The volcano and the red glow are visible from the hut."

As all activities and transport are organized by the host, I sometimes had to wait quite long time for the driver to arrive. This was not the hosts fault, but it is important to know when planning a trip to Tanna.

Bagno molto piccolo. Se si arriva a tarda serata non mi pare ci siano ristoranti dove mangiare (c'è una fast food a 600m ma forse facilmente raggiungibile poichè il vialone delle bancarelle (dove c'è il locale) è chiuso.

"Die Lage ist super. Man ist schnell im Zentrum zu Fuß. Das Personal absolut hilfsbereit und geben sich alle Mühe. Wurde sogar vom Flughafen abgeholt für ein kleines Entgelt. War 4 Tage hier. Besonders Richard mag ich. Komme gerne wieder."

"Die Damen im PapaCrab sind so unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Egal ob es um Anliegen, Fragen oder Ausflüge ging, ich habe mich stets unterstützt gefühlt. Die Anlage an sich ist super gut erreichbar und schnuckelig. Alles sauber, ordentlich und ruhig."

"The owners were right next door and very accomodating. They were very nice people.The apartment was clean and everything was provided. The air conditioner worked well and there was a little outdoor porch with a breeze. There was also a washing machine in the apartment."

Thibaud is rather isolated and buses are few and far between.

"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful place in Speyside. The views were absolutely stunning, and the gardens, along with the surrounding wildlife, made it even more special. The host was incredibly sweet and friendly, making us feel right at home. The place was spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We would highly recommend this place and would love to return in the future!"

"Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen und verfügt über eine große kostenlose Parkfläche, was die Anreise problemlos gestaltet. Der Eincheck-Prozess ist komplett automatisiert. Man stellt sich selbst vor Ort in wenigen Minuten die Zimmerkarte aus und wirft diese bei Abreise wieder zurück in die Abgabebox."

Die Zimmer fallen recht klein aus.

"Der Frühstück war aus lokalen Produkten, ganz fein und serviert direkt im schönen Garten. C’est le plus beau et agréable endroit pour passer un moment de joie. L’accueil est adorable et sincère. L’histoire de la maison comble le reste. C’est tout simplement un musée vivant , qu’on ne peut pas oublié. Aucun compliment peut exprimer notre joie ici. Das ist ein Paradies zum wohnen und zum genießen. Wir wünschen Maguy weiter viele Liebe for ihre Gäste."

"Eine sehr nette Familie, die sich viel Mühe gibt den Aufenthalt so angenehm und unterhaltsam wie möglich zu gestalten. Bei Bedarf kann ein Taxi aus Samarkand organisiert werden. Mittag- und Abendessen kann auf Wunsch für jeweils 10$ dazugebucht werden, auch ohne Probleme Vegetarisch und wird immer frisch zubereitet. Man kann gut 4 Tage dort verbringen. Neben dem Wandern kann man mit der Familie kochen, Brot backen, mit den Kindern spielen oder einfach im sehr schönen Garten Zeit verbringen."

Manchmal gab es leichte Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten aufgrund von mangelndem Englisch, wir haben es aber immer irgendwie geschafft uns zu verständigen.

"Es hat einfach alles gepasst! Schon die Begrüßung war nett und freundlich, obwohl ich zu früh eingecheckt habe (der Bus kam eben früher). Mit Emil, dem Dueńo, habe ich eine Tour in den Cańon gemacht - und es war einfach traumhaft. Durchaus eine Herausforderung und auch anstrengend, aber unbeschreiblich schön!!! Ein absolutes Highlight meiner etwa dreimonatigen Reise. Das Zimmer war gut, das Bett bequem und das typische Frühstück köstlich!!! Ich kann dieses Hostel wärmstens weiterempfehlen!"

"Wunderschönes Haus, großes, sehr sauberes Appartement. Gute Klimaanlage… Sehr sehr nette Gastgeber."

Das Appartement ganz oben, mit 2 getrennten Schlafzimmern (ideal für Familie mit Kinder… 1 Zimmer mit kleinem Fenster, das nicht geöffnet werden kann, da so hoch oben in der Nische 🫣😅 2. Zimmer mit Dachfenster… geht zur Straße raus. Für mich kein Problem, wenn du aber unter Schlafproblem leidest, sehr laut.

"Schönes Zimmer, toller Innenhof, sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Wir wurden mit Gebäck, Datteln, Tee und Shisha bewirtet (alles kostenlos). Frühstück war auch super - fast alles selbstgemacht."

Morgens um 5 Uhr nervt der Muezzin - wie vermutlich überall in Bethlehem.

"Location was perfect and the house was super clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The owners were awesome and even brought us fresh picked fruit. The view from the front room with its oversized sliding door is spectacular. This picture was taken right out the front door."

"The personal attention of the wonderful owner stood out for us. He went out of his way to collect us from the ferry and take us to the airport the next day. He provided us with a fabulous breakfast too - the best we’ve had over our whole trip. We loved meeting him and talking to him."

"The place is not a 5-star guest house, and I was pleasantly surprised by the way I was treated. The staff were lovely, the rooms were clean, and the facilities were better than some of the hotels I have stayed in across Africa. My bed was even a TV bed — I connected my MP3 player and listened to music through the bed speakers… great experience! The location is excellent, with the airport just a stone’s throw away. The staff even went out to buy takeaway food for me when I requested it, which I really appreciated. I do wish they had WiFi, but I understand they may be keeping their costs down. However, I was given a pre-loaded SIM card to make calls to my family, which was a thoughtful gesture."

"We had an amazing stay! The hosts Kristina and Kozma and their cute little dog were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. They even shared the tastiest fresh tomatoes from their garden. The balcony had a gorgeous view over the sea, and they were kind enough to give us a ride back to Vlora. Honestly, such lovely people – highly recommend!"

"Sie war sehr gut gelegen und da es in Hell Bourg abends etwas kälter ist war sogar ein Heizer zur Verfügung. Der Gastgeber war auch sehr nett und das Frühstück für 6€ auch in Ordnung. Sauber war auch alles, dass ist uns immer am wichtigsten."

"Die Aussicht ist super. Viel Platz mit Küche, zwei Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer, Spiele. Bad ist einfach, Toilette extra, nur eine für 5 Gäste. Waschmaschine und Trocknet und Waschmittel vorhanden. Die Lage ist gut für Ausflüge."

"Warm welcome from the staff, very comfortable room and home-like feeling. Designated room for smoking so we did not have to feel the smell at all. Kids loved the chess available to play."

"Gutes, sauberes Zimmer, gute Dusche mit Abtrennung. Nettes, unterhaltsames Personal. Lunchpaket kann man dazubuchen, auf Wunsch auch Frühstückspacket. Abendessen kann man auch bestellen, war gut."

Bessere Handtücher wäre gut.
