Le seul petit hic, c’est le manque de pression d’eau pour la douche, du coup on y reste plus longtemps dessous…

"Sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus auf einem schönen Hanggrundstück, super Lage mit Blick auff den Vulkan Poas, nettes Personal. Gleich in der Nähe kann man eine sehr schöne Wanderung durch den Wald zu einer Kapelle machen. Der Gastgeber war über whatsapp ständig erreichbar und gab wertvolle Hinweise für die Umgebung. Alles sehr empfehlenswert!"

"Unser Häusschen war hübsch eingerichtet und gemütlich. Draussen windete es stark und wir verbrachten den ganzen Abend im warmen Häusschen. Es gab auch ein eigenes WLAN. Auf dem Hof leben zwei superliebe Hunde, die uns oft besuchten. Die Gastgeberin war freundlich und hilfsbereit."

Wir waren etwas zu früh bei den Ásbrandsstadir Cottages und warteten im Gemeinschaftshäusschen, welches etwas unangenehm roch und überfüllt war mit alten Dingen, daher war es eher eng, zusammen mit den anderen wartenden Gästen.

"Yes, it was a surprise to find that we had breakfast and some supplies so we didn't have to shop on the first day we arrived. also our flight from South Africa didn't arrive until quite late and our taxi was not waiting at the airport so it was very late at night before we got to Villa Mia. In spite of this our hosts were waiting to greet us on arrival, which was much appreciated."

Maybe the host could have dropped in at some time during our stay to see how we were going.

"This property was very well maintained. It was very easy to find and our host was very accommodating for us. Each room had functioning air-con (which was a life saver) as well as the main lounge area. All the facilities were well maintained. The highlight was the bathroom. "Incredible location near the beach and close to the shop. Beautiful large garden and extremely well equipped kitchen. And we loved the cat and the dogs and chickens in the garden. Lots of towels were a real luxury. Lovely comfy beds 😀 and very handy having the top loading washing machine. It felt like a home rather than just a holiday place and was much bigger than we expected from the photos and description on Booking.com"

A sign to the villa would have been really helpful and check in instructions before arriving. The safe didn't work and It needs a lock on the bathroom door please 🙂 Wifi and air con would be amazing, we appreciate its expensive and wifi is elusive on the island. Maybe more fans would help in the absence of air con . The TV didn't work unfortunately even on one channel. A paddle board would have been incredible!

Cuentan con una huerta adorable y unos acompañantes de cuatro patas cariñosos. Los techos elevados de la casa hacen que se mantenga el ambiente lo suficientemente fresco a comparación de la sensación térmica que se percibe al exterior. "Exceptional property has the river running through the front yard, with barbecue, hammock, swing and patio furniture. Two story house has the kitchen, bathroom and living room on the first floor, and the two bedrooms upstairs. Nice layout and fully equipped with everything you need. "We arrived at the private park in the camp, then the owner of the camp received us and gave us a nice welcome. He took us to the camp and then showed us a 4-hour tour, which was beautiful. The camp was very beautiful and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it."
