"There is a kitchen where I was able to prepare my own meals. All the facilities are included e.g a cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc It was a home from home apartment which was to my liking and style. The host Marcia is excellent and extremely helpful. I would describe her as a problem solver and very knowledgeable. Including Yolanda who does the day to day Management of the accommodation . She is always helpful and very friendly no matter how busy her day is . I have recently extended my stay for a further 18 days as I am very happy staying here whilst visiting friends and overseeing some renovation work on my own property."

Due to the fact that we are on a main Road there is ongoing traffic and the noise can sometimes be a bit loud from the music boxes the cars and taxi drivers have in their vehicles. There is no noise control on vehicles in Guyana. However, after a time you get use to it.

"Saubere Unterkunft, aufmerksames Personal, alle hilfsbereit. Internet stabil, Warmwasser ebenso. Reinigung der Kleidung möglich, insgesamt wirklich empfehlenswert. Es gibt Kochecken, wo man im Bedarfsfall sich selbst Essen machen kann."

Es gibt keine negativen Aspekte. Das Hotel Team und die Security Männer arbeiten super. Fast alle sprechen Englisch.

"Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, jedoch mit dem Auto oder zu Fuß ist alles erreichbar, der Bahnhof war in der Nähe, die Supermärkten haben wir mit dem Auto zurückgelegt. Die Wohnung hat wirklich alles zu bieten, so als würden wir selber dadrin wohnen. Er hat alle meine Erwartungen übertroffen. In der Küche macht du fast gar nichts mehr falsch und das Badezimmer hat eine Badewanne mit einem abgetrennten Glaswand. Das Wohn - /Ess- und Schlafbereich ist nicht zu klein, größer als jedes "normales" Hotelzimmer."

Der Haustür geht schwer auf, man muss wirklich erst die Haustür ziehen und gleichzeitig mit der Hausschlüssel drehen um die Tür auf - zuzuschliessen.

"Bisher die beste Unterkunft im Senegal. Europäischer Standard, toller riesiger Pool, Zimmer modern und sauber. Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mitarbeiter, der uns sogar mit dem Roller zum ATM gefahren hat. Frühstück einzigartig. Vorsicht, hier will man länger bleiben als geplant 😁"

Keine Kritik, nur ein kleiner Tipp falls ihr zum Fathala Park wollt, der angebotene Taxi für 20k CFA (es sind 20 min Fahrt!!) kann günstiger erworben werden indem man sich einfach an die Hauptstraße stellt und Einheimische fragt. Wir sind für 8k hin gekommen

He came to pick me up to the airport, showed around Lalibela, even took me as a guide to few rock-hewn churches, for free, provided breakfast every morning, all for free, even though it wasn’t included in my booking. His place is clean, yet within local community, which I really liked. You see how locals live. It is onsuite room with large bed, separate entrance, free wifi, towels changed every day, bed made every day. I don’t have enough words to describe his hospitality. You simply become friend with Seyfu straight away. Thank you brother for everything!"

"We are a family of 6 and we spent 20 days in this 3 bedroom spacious and comfortable house with excellent facilities and everything worked well starting from the air conditioning in all of the rooms, the standby generator, kitchen appliances ie: boiler, washing machine, fridge, kettle, microwave, cooker etc, big smart TV with Netflix amazon prime in the living room. Located in the city centre and close to the shops and restaurants with easy street parking. The house also have a well maintained private front garden where residents can relax.. The house has been recently refurbished."

Frequent power cuts in the city but with a standby generator on site we always have electricity in J Nova residential.

"Die Lage ist einzigartig. Als Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Inseln absolut günstig gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Die Ausstattung, bis auf absolute Kleinigkeiten, top, man kann sich rundherum wohlfühlen. Sehr gute Betten, die angenehmen Schlaf garantieren. Angenehme Wärme in der gesamten Wohnung. Wir würden das Boathouse auf jeden Fall wieder buchen."

Eine kleine Ablagemöglichkeit (z.B. eine kleine Wandkonsole) direkt am Bett (für Handy, Taschentücher, Uhr) wäre schön.

Wifi so lala, kann vermutlich niemand etwas dafür Ein Besen o. ä. zum putzen zwischendurch wäre gut

"Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Sandpiper. Das Zimmer war groß und gemütlich, die Küche bestens ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Besonders schön war der gepflegte Garten mit dem kleinen Pool – perfekt zum Entspannen. Absolut empfehlenswert!"

The amenities listing was incorrect for kitchenware. There was only 2 cups which to us did not equate to kitchenware. We booked an apartment with a kitchenette due to my food intolerances and needing to self cater. We did get some by asking.

"Personal : Super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vor allem Thomas hat mir sehr geholfen (z. B. spontane Abholung von der Busstation). Lage: 10/10. 2 Minuten bis zum Strand. 5 Minuten über den Strand bis ins Dörfchen. Man hört die Wellen während man im Bett oder in der Hängematte liegt. Und ich habe tatsächlich sogar Wale von meiner Terrasse aus sehen können. Unterkunft : Super geräumig und sauber. Das Bett und die Kissen sind bequem. Die Küche bringt alles mit, was man braucht. Mehr als genug Stauraum. Der Ausblick traumhaft schön."

Vier Punkte fallen mir ein, die nicht ganz optimal waren (das ist aber Meckern auf hohem Niveau) : 1. Es gab leider nur kaltes Wasser aber das lag wohl an einem technischen Problem und ist nicht immer so. 2. Das Waschbecken im Bad ist etwas sehr hoch. Ich musste mich immer auf Zehenspitzen stellen. 3. Sie verwenden einen Septic Tank. Das Wasser sieht also etwas 'unappetitlich' aus. 4. Das WLAN lässt zu wünschen übrig.

Location was far from the main tourist centers in Nungwi and stone town. Suggest getting a car if you are there - lucky we had one. Otherwise great stay!

Der Gastgeber hat 2 Apartments im Dorf und obwohl es beschrieben ist, habe ich es nicht richtig wahrgenommen, dass die Schlüsselübergabe im anderen Apartment ist, als unsere Buchung.

Wer keinen Trubel mag, ist in diesem Ortsteil falsch. Die komplett digitale Abwicklung - selbst die Schließanlage funktioniert per App - muss man mögen.
