Hostels in San Marino

"Doba and his family were exceptionally welcoming, outgoing, and fun. We spent three nights at chez doba, and went on two hikes each day, to different waterfalls, viewpoints, and villages. In the evening we played football with the children and drank beer and tea with the locals. Special shoutout to Amadou, our guide for our stay - a great guy! Highly highly highly recommend Campement Chez Doba to anyone visiting Senegal, its been the highlight of our trip. We also booked onto an extra trip with Doba to tour a nearby bedik village, which was very picturesque! Doba Tours also offers other tours around Senegal, including Dakar and Niocolo Koba National Park, which we didnt use, but heard good things from other guests. The food was good and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable!"

"Just that the main gate gets locked and you will have to call or knock until you are heard. So don't stay out for long at nights."

"Sehr zentrale Lage in der Altstadt; das Zimmer war klein aber in Ordnung; das Bett war hart, aber okay. Frühstück hatten wir nicht genutzt. Abstellplatz für Fahrräder ist da."

Der Fahrradabstellplatz ist nicht so sicher. Räder sollten an- und abgeschlossen werden. E-Bikes können da nicht rauf gewuchtet werden!

"A Pleasant Surprise at Palm Garden! We booked Palm Garden without checking any reviews—only afterward did we take a look and feel a bit unsure. My husband even told me not to say anything about the booking, just to see how it was when we got there. But to our surprise, from the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. At the doorstep, we were greeted by Madu at reception, who welcomed us with the warmest smile—as if we had known her for years! 😊 Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful view. It was clear that the staff really care about maintaining a high standard."

"Die Lage ist wunderschön, das Personal sehr freundlich und das Essen lecker (vor allem sind die Portionen sehr groß)."

Sie haben eine süße kleine Hündin, die sich sehr über Spaziergänge am Strand freut - wir durften sie jeden Tag mitnehmen und sie ist sehr brav! Ansonsten ist sie leider den ganzen Tag an einer kurzen Leine angebunden. Also seid so lieb und nehmt sie mit :)

Einzig beim Check Inn war keiner da, aber nach 20 Minuten wsr dies auch gemacht. Ist halt Winter, im Sommer ist hier dann viel mehr los.

A bit noisy customers second night but it was okay

"Besonders gut hat mir die zentrale Lage gefallen, ebenso wie die 24hrs Reception. So konnte ich auch in der Nacht problemlos einchecken. Ebenfalls gefallen hat mir, dass es verschiedene Bäder gab und Toiletten und Duschen getrennt waren. Desweitern ist der Gepäcklagerservice ein grosses Plus für die Unterkunft."

Die Zimmertür hat geklemmt, was es schwierig machte Nachts leise das Zimmer zu verlassen oder zurück zu kommen.

- would have been great if there were a kettle for guests' use. Needed some hot water to soothe my stomach and had to ask the staff to boil a cup for me.

"Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!"

Es ist leider sehr hellhörig, man kann dennoch gut schlafen.

"Hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Man merkt, dass viel Leidenschaft im Hostel drin steckt. Sehr sauber und komfortabel. Auch das Café mon direkt untenan mit den Sitzplätzen im Innenhof ist für das Frühstück sehr zu empfehlen."

Das Hostel ist leider nicht so sozial, aber gut für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt.

"Ein zuvorkommender und unglaublich freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Er organisierte uns sogar einen Leihwagen, obwohl es in der ganzen Stadt keine mehr gab. Elton ist wirklich herzlich und liebenswert."

Es gab leider nur ein kleines Fenster im Zimmer nach draußen und die Musik spielte nebenan fast ganztägig. Meist jedoch wirklich gute Musik. 😉
