"Die Sprachgewandtheit der Rezeptionistin ist uns sehr positiv ins Auge gestochen. Neben Lettisch beherrschte diese auch noch englisch und konnte uns somit viel über die Kultur vor Ort erzählen. Eine wunderbare Frau. Das Zimmer bestach durch das gemütliche Bett sowie den wundervollen Ausblick über Riga. Auch das morgendliche Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Alles in allem hat sich diese Unterkunft ihre vier Sterne verdient."

"Das Wasser des Whirlpools war etwas zu kalt. Drei Nächte zum Preis von 35€ entsprechen leider nicht dem durchschnittlichen örtlichen Preis für eine Unterkunft. Weiter konnte am Duschkopf nur zwischen zwei verschiedenen Massageprogrammen ausgewählt werden. Die Fliesen des Bades waren optisch nicht sehr ansprechend, schienen sie doch schon mindestens 5 Jahre alt zu sein."

"3rd time here, as great as usually! Nice welcoming by the ladies at the reception. Got good turistinformation and advice how to get there! Reccomend this simple but clean hostel located very centrally. Everything is at walking distance!"

"Stayed only one night this time, and we were warmly welcomed again! Really kind ladies working at the hostel, always with a smile and checking in was quick. The room and other areas were clean! Its easy to find the hostel, even if there is not a sign for the hostel. When you are at Marijas iela 1, you will see that you have come to the right place when you see the blue sign "Tulkojumi". 30 meters from McDonalds."

"Had been reading bad rekommendations about the hostel, but for me and my niece it was a great place! Beds were clean, toilette also, had possibility to use waterboiler and micro. We could sleep well, no noice from other rooms. Both women at the reception were so kind and helpful! We could easily communicate with a translator. We felt very welcome! Will definitely come back!"

"Liked that we could check in almost at midnight also the russian lady who was working as receptionist was very lovely."

"Well all was good, just the thingy to put your hacket on was damaged and eventually fallen down with all our jackets, we tried to fix it but sadly holes in a wall was not secure enough."
