Hotels in Dominica

"Ja, das Hotel ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen und die Zimmer abgewohnt, aber es liegt hervorragend "Downtown" und hat durchaus Charme und Charakter. Essentials wie Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit der Personals waren alle gegeben. Das Frühstück im Nebengebäude (dort auch der Pool) war ok und ausreichend, alles wurde rasch aufgefüllt. Irgendeinen ernsthaften Grund zur Klage oder Beschwerde gab es also keinen."

"Sehr schönes Hotel mit toller Außenanlage. Das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet und hatte einen schönen Blick. Außenpool und Fitnesstudio vorhanden."

Das Frühstück war sehr teuer.

"Die Unterkunft liegt in einem ruhigen Quartier von Pointe-Noire. Die Zimmer sind gut eingereichtet und angenehm gross. Alles funktionierte und es war sauber. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich Mir wurde ich einer medizinischen Notlage sofort geholfen und ich konnte mein Motorrad im Garten parkiert lassen, währenddessen ich für 4 Wochen nach hause fligen musste. Frühstück und Abendessen ist lecker und auf der Dachterrasse bekommt man einen Überblick vom Quartier. Normale Autos und Motorräder können im Innenhof sicher parkiert werden."

Die Unterkunft liegt weiter weg vom Stadtzentrum, dass man aber gegebenfalls günstig mit einem Taxi erreichen kann. Die Quartierstrasse zur Unterkunft kann während der Regenzeit schwierig werden.

"- Top Lage zu verhältnismäßig günstigem Preis (alles dort ist teuer, aber das hier ist eben noch gut im Vergleich) - 2 Minuten bis zum Strand - kleiner günstiger Imbiss direkt vor der Haustür (wo wir jeden Tag gefrühstückt haben) - die Unterkunft war sauber - man hat sich sehr sicher gefühlt"

"Das Hotel ist wirklich schön. Die Zimmer haben eine absolut ansprechende Ausstattung, mit sehr bequemen Betten. Es ist alles auch tiptop sauber. In dem sehr gepflegten kleinen Garten oder der netten Bar kann man abends noch wunderbar und entspannt ein Getränk genießen. Das Personal ist auch sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung!"

No problems check in and come in all 24 hours. I really recommend this room and owner and I will definitely come back. No problems buy breakfast in hotel downstairs. Price perfect."

"Äußerst herzliche Gastgeber (ich konnte sogar Deutsch sprechen mit dem Inhaber), wunderschönes klassisches Gebäude aus Naturstein, abends ist das Restaurant geöffnet, früh kann man im Haus frühstücken; im Zimmer war alles vorhanden, das Bad machte einen sehr neuen Eindruck, WiFi funktionierte auch tadellos ... wer hier im Naturpark mit dem etwas höheren Preis im Vergleich zu Hotels in Großstädten leben kann, wird in diesem Haus nicht enttäuscht werden!"

"The family room was small, but had everything you need. The breakfast was delicious and the drink prices were reasonable. The best choice in the area. Evening village life is a separate show, unfortunately we couldn't find any entertainment nearby. And the wealthier residents instead gathered at our place of stay."

The first night we had trouble sleeping because at 3AM all the villagers started making noise (roosters, dogs, cats, turkeys, goats, sheep) but by the second and third we were already used to the village sounds.

Dinner and breakfast were simple but perfectly adequate. The rooms are very spacious, though they could benefit from a few extra touches to make them feel cosier, as they felt a little empty. Overall, a pleasant stay with beautiful views and a peaceful setting."

"Wir waren in einem Standart Zimmer. Geräumiges Zimmer mit sehr bequemem Betten. Es war sehr sauber und die Klima hat gut funktioniert. Coole und sauberer Pool und man konnte direkt an den Strand. Restaurant war auch lecker. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten innert 5-10 Autominuten"

Nicht viele Restaurants. Die Hotelanlage könnte hier und da eine kleine Auffrischung benötigen.

Leider war die Ausstattung nicht so wie angegeben, es fehlte ein Haartrockner, ein Safe und viele Steckdosen waren lotterig oder funktionierten nicht. Bei starkem Regen im obersten Stock kann es gut sein, dass es ins Zimmer tropft.

"Endroit très calme dans un jardin magnifique et bien entretenu. Personnelle très ouverte et accueillante. Manger possible et bon. A revenir !"

La piscine était sur entretien et en train detre remplir. Dommage pour nous que on ne pouvait pas nager. Mais prochainement ca sera possible.

The size of the room was a little cramped.

"Stilvoll, sauber, einzigartige Lage, family run Hotel - dadurch sehr persönlich. Dass Zimmer mit Meerblick werden wir nie vergessen. Grossartiges Restaurant vom Sohn der Familie geführt. Unbedingt ausprobieren! Wir würden unbedingt dort wieder hinkommen."

His dedication, generosity, and genuine care are truly rare to find. Thanks to him, our stay was smooth, comfortable, and unforgettable. He turned our visit to Gabala into a perfect experience and set a new standard for what true hospitality means. This hotel is outstanding, but Mr. Nurlan is its greatest asset.
