Einiges ist schon in die Jahre gekommen und manches müsste mal erneuert werden.

"Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt, die Zimmer sind gross, hell und die Lage der Unterkunft ruhig und sehr zentral, in der Altstadt. Es hat Tee, Kaffee, eine ausgestattete Küche, gemütlich und originell. Zugang mit Code hat sofort geklappt, und wir konnten eine Nacht verlängern."

"Die vorherigen Informationen per WhatsApp waren sehr hilfreich und es gab vor Ort extra deutschsprachige Informationen und die Touristenkarte für Rabatte. So konnten wir unabhängig anreisen und einchecken. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb und deshalb angenehm ruhig. Es wäre bestimmt schön gewesen, wenn wir dort auch hätten frühstücken können. Der Balkon des Zimmers Nr. 4 ist einfach sehr schön."

Wir wussten ja, dass es kein Frühstücksangebot gibt - aber es wäre schön gewesen. Die Kaffee- und Tee-Angebote auf dem Zimmer sind mit Preisen ausgeschildert - das ist sehr irritierend. Aber auch hier gibt es überhaupt nichts zu meckern, denn es wurde nicht berechnet. Vielen Dank!

"The property has a natural look/ design - which I loved - simple but with everything you need. The bed was especially comfortable. And we were right on the beach so slept to the sound of the sea and woke up to drink our morning coffee looking out to the sea. Really comfy beach beds and great service for food and drinks. The staff so friendly and welcoming - a great atmosphere- peaceful, spacious, tranquil. You can walk along the beach to other bars or restaurants with a much more hectic vibe- it always felt like a blessing to return to Happy Corner. We felt very lucky to have found such a place- a slice of paradise!"

Der TV hatte kein Netflix und es gab keine Minibar im Zimmer, sind aber nur Kleinigkeiten auf die Mann bei kurz Trips gut verziechten kann (: dafür konnte man unten 24/7 sich was zu trinken holen 🤗

В комнатах всё предусмотрено, но маленькое уточнение, в туалете отсутствует туалетная бумага , туалетное мыло , хотя мы всё взяли с собой , и вешалка для туалетной бумаги

"Kleine saubere Chalets in ruhiger Lage mit für Kenia gutem, fast europäischen Standard. Für alle geeignet, die nicht in einem wirklich afrikanischen Guesthouse übernachten möchten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück und Abendessen wurde uns auf der Terrasse serviert. In der Anlage gibt es auch verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten im Schatten unter Bäumen. Das Essen ist sehr gut."

Die Lodge ist nicht ganz einfach über eine Sandpiste zu erreichen. Für erklärte Biertrinker gibt es kein Bier und bei längerem Aufenthalt nur Hendel in verschiedenen Variationen. Für ein oder zwei Nächte trotzdem empfehlenswert!!!

The staff were friendly and helpful from the very first moment, always available without ever being intrusive. My room was bright, spacious, and very quiet — perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The location is excellent: easy to get around, close to the main points of interest, and well connected by public transport. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

In einer Dusche kam kein Warmes Wasser, war allerdings kein Problem, da es mehrere gab

"Staying at this family-run hotel in Wadi Rum was a truly special experience. The owners' hospitality makes us feel instantly welcome. Our room was surprisingly spacious, a real treat considering the stunning desert landscape surrounding us. Waking up to that breathtaking sunrise view was an absolute highlight! Plus, the host organized a fantastic program that really allowed us to immerse ourselves in the magic of Wadi Rum. And let's not forget the dinner! The Beduin-style meal was absolutely delicious, a real taste of local flavors that perfectly complemented our desert adventure. The owner truly went above and beyond by organizing a fantastic program for us in the desert. It was a real highlight of our stay and a wonderful way to experience the beauty and culture of Wadi Rum."

While our stay had many highlights, it's worth noting that the hotel appears to still be under development. We observed some buildings that seemed to be in the early stages of construction and looked unfinished. Additionally, we encountered some water on the bathroom floor, which was a bit inconvenient.
