Die Matratzen sollten alle etwas komfortabler sein. Teilweise sind die Matratzen sehr hart.

"Great value for money. If you intend to stay at the university, this hotel has everything one needs and is in close walking distance. Also, the rooms are tidy, and the staff is very friendly."

The reception was almost never occupied, and the person on the indicated phone number did not speak English. So checking in and paying was a bit tricky. Internet is a bit slow for working, but OK. Also, mind that you may need to bring your own shampoo, soap, and hair dryer.

"Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen und hat einen tollen Blick auf den alten Harbor. Die Zimmer sind sehr in Ordnung, AC und wlan funktionieren einwandfrei. Der Besitzer war immer äußerst hilfsbereit und hat uns sehr unterstützt. In der Nähe liegen fussläufig sehr gute Restaurants."

"Our self catering apartment was in a good location. Places to eat are near by. Facilities were basic but adequate for our stay. Towels were lovely and soft, the room was clean, the shower was good and the a/c was efficient. The staff at reception were very friendly."

Pillows a bit lumpy but we still got a good night's sleep.

"Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Stadt, aber dennoch war es ruhig. Wir haben ein für uns perfekt eingerichtetes, sehr sauberes Zimmer vorgefunden, mit außerordentlich bequemen Betten. Das für unsere Arbeiten so wichtige Internet war stark. Alle Bediensteten waren kompetent und freundlich. Das Frühstück war richtig gut und der freundliche Betreiber war dabei selbst sehr engagiert. Der Frühstücksraum mutet wie eine Gemäldegalerie an und auch die Zimmer sind mit vielen Bildern geschmückt."

Alles war in bester Ordnung.

"I had a really lovely stay at this hotel! The property is welcoming, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful from the very first moment, always available without ever being intrusive. My room was bright, spacious, and very quiet — perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The location is excellent: easy to get around, close to the main points of interest, and well connected by public transport. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Wir haben die Unterkunft am Nachmittag für den Abend gebucht, als klar war, dass wir die Fähre verpassen würden. Das Zimmer war geräumig, das Bett bequem, alles da, was man braucht und das Restaurant war noch offen. Für den Zweck - nach 36h auf den Beinen duschen-essen-schlafen war es super. Außerdem am nächsten Morgen nur ein paar Schritte zur Fähre."

Ich hätte gerne etwas länger ausgeschlafen, aber ab 7 Uhr ist Frühstücksbetrieb vor den Zimmern, d.h. ab 6 wird gefegt, geräumt, ausschlafen ist hier nicht möglich.

"The property has a natural look/ design - which I loved - simple but with everything you need. The bed was especially comfortable. And we were right on the beach so slept to the sound of the sea and woke up to drink our morning coffee looking out to the sea. Really comfy beach beds and great service for food and drinks. The staff so friendly and welcoming - a great atmosphere- peaceful, spacious, tranquil. You can walk along the beach to other bars or restaurants with a much more hectic vibe- it always felt like a blessing to return to Happy Corner. We felt very lucky to have found such a place- a slice of paradise!"

"It was very uncomplicated to get the keys. Plenty of parking nearby. The bathroom was spacious, the location was clean. The building has old roots and the main building was a makeshift hospital during the Battle of Waterloo, which added to the charm."
