"Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft von Ingrid und Thomas sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Grundstück ist sehr naturbelassen mit vielen verschiedenen tropischen Pflanzen. Der weite und erhabene Blick von der Terasse in die Natur bis zum Meer ist atemberaubend. Von unserer Terasse konnte man den Sonnenaufgang sehen. Das Zimmer war minimalistisch aber praktisch eingerichtet. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Ingrid ist im übrigen eine sehr gute Köchin. Ihr Händchen für den Einsatz von verschiedenen und für uns zum Teil unbekannten Gewürzen war sehr köstlich. Man sollte auf jeden Fall das Frühstücksangebot von Ingrid nutzen. Wir hatten einmal einen Defekt unserer Dusche, was von Thomas umgehend repariert wurde. Am letzten Abend hatten wir die Mögoichkeit mit Ingrid und ihrer Tochter in der örtlichen Kirche an einem Gottesdienst teilzunehmen. Dies war ein unvergessliches Ereignis für uns. Wir können diese Unterkunft und Lebensprojekt von Ingrid und Thomas in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen."

Malheureusement été déçus par le jacuzzi qui ne fonctionnait pas. C'est le point qui nous a le plus dérangés et qui a gâché le séjour car j'ai payé un supplément pour profiter de cette option avec mes enfants cela devait être une surprise. Je tiens tout de même à remercier le membre du personnel qui a tenté de faire une réparation. Malgré ses efforts et sa bonne volonté, le problème n'a pas pu être résolu. C'est dommage de ne pas avoir pu en profiter durant notre séjour.

"Tolle Lage ganz oben auf dem Berg mit herrlicher Terrasse. Obwohl wir erst nach Mitternacht ankamen war unser Schluessel trotzdem hinterlegt. Nach den guten Frühstück gab es persönliche Wandertipps des Eigentümers. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen"

The other villa R3 was not bad just that it could use some improvements in the spare bedrooms

"Very well situated , our room was spacious , nice balcony and a view of the river. Resteraunt on site was very nice and staff friendly and helpful."

Toilet was not flushing properly , but not much of a problem.

"Simple and wonderfully personal. Great little cottage with stunning views of the Atiu forests and genuinely friendly help from the proprietor. Everything worked like it should. Great stay, sad to leave."

"Tolle Lage! Unsere Blockhütte war direkt an der Straße im Viertel der Heimischen: Super, wir haben es geliebt, dass Leben zu beobachten und zu hören👍. Du bist schnell im Zentrum und am Strand. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer war sehr gut!"

Könnte sauberer sein... Die Kommunikation mit dem Personal vor Ort war nicht so toll. Wir sind uns nicht sicher, ob der Besitzer weiß, was vor Ort so passiert.

"Comfortable stay in a Vintage house, outback-Australia style. Has all things in the kitchen to use if self catering.Hot shower .Central, close to a lovely beach and restaurants. But 2 km from main supermarket. Recommended"

"The room was incredibly comfortable and clean. It was very quiet and we felt like home. New AC, clean and well attained. The surroundings are excellent as well as the neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. Accessibility was good. It is a little far from the city but there is a bus stop about five minutes from the property where the Airport bus stops. A rental vehicle would be recommended. We knew that and the remote location was very soothing for us."

The outside property had some very minor issues; it felt a bit barren and the pool could‘ve been better maintained. We would have liked simple room cleaning very days without having to ask for it because it made us feel a bit uncomfortable to request it. Plus, to avoid all these plastic bottles, we would have appreciated a shared water filter station at the property.

"Die Lage von Munnickenheide ist sehr gut, wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht. Klein aber fein, ein absolutes High Light. Selbst gebrautes Bier, frischen Kaffee, selbst gemachtes Eis usw. gehren nebst dem gepflegten, sauberen GElände und den Gebäuden zu einem weiteren Höhepunkt. Die Duschen und Toiletten sind sehr sauber gehalten."

Es gibt nicht s zu bemängeln.

"Die Hütte war sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Unsere Hütte lag zudem privat, sodass wir ungestört die Aussicht von der Terrasse bzw. vom großen Fenster aus genießen konnten. Schlafzimmer und Bad sind praktisch und klein gehalten, aber modern gestaltet. Trotz kühlem und windigen Wetters war es warm in der Hütte. Die Lage ist super zwischen diversen Nationalparks gelegen. In der Gegend gibt es reichlich Aktivitätsmöglichkeiten und unendlich viel faszinierende Natur inkl. Gletschern, Hochebenen, Schluchten und unzähligen Wasserfällen, einer schöner als der nächste. Im Ort selbst findet man fußläufig alles was man braucht, inkl. Café mit Frühstücksangebot."

"The people were so friendly and helpful. They gave us a free lift into town and back and answered all of our questions. The setting is beautiful next to the water with a lovely log cabin. I'd definitely stay again, especially in summer as it's a great alternative to Ciudad del Este."

It can be a bit cold if the weather isn't good.

"Чудове місце для відпочинку сімʼєю. Дуже задоволені. Було дуже затишно і комфортно. Велика територія біля котеджа – є все необхідне для барбекю, альтанки і качелі для дітей. Відпочивали взимку, але в приміщенні було дуже тепло. Є санвузли у кожній спальні, що дуже зручно. Окреме спасибі пані Олі, адміністратору котеджа. Турбувалася про нас, щоб ми почувалися максимально комфортно. Плануємо повернутися сюди влітку 🙂"

Трошки замалий холодильник. Було б добре, щоб він був трохи більшим і мав трохи більшу морозильну камеру. Також не зайвими були б ще кілька кастрюль та великі миски.

"A wonderful small house in a quiete place. Not a big one but equipped very well with all necessary kitchen appliances including a dishwasher. There is also a nice terrace outside with a barbeque place. Everything was very clean, the house is very cozy"

"Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet, mit Klimaanlage und allem modernen Komfort. Man erwartet nicht, ein solches Ausstattungsniveau im Herzen der Sahara zu finden. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und luxuriös. Eine sehr schöne Überraschung in der Wüste!"
