"The room was very nice. We had a 3 bedroom villa and loved that we all had our own bathrooms."

Cockroaches. Saw a large one on our garbage under the sink on one day, Saw another one dead on the floor another day. The [shuttle only] travel within the property came as a surprise but it was ok. They stop running at 11:30 so best to be settled in for the night by then. We were there for a family reunion and had family in another building, so we couldn’t really hang out late due to the end of the shuttle runs. The property was too steep of a hill for some members of my family to walk.

"A good hotel with a decent and tasty breakfast served in an interestingly located restaurant. The rooms are clean and spacious. It's pleasantly cool in summer even during the heat, although there's no air conditioning. A special highlight is the mountain river flowing nearby — you can hear its sound at night. The location is truly excellent, especially convenient because the free shuttle bus stop is right next to the hotel. In the pool, the water is very warm, but it was impossible to use it — all the spots around the pool were constantly occupied."

"Nice and spaceous property just a 5-10 min drive from Tahko Ski Resort. 3 of the rooms out of 4 had private bathrooms, which was very convinient. Also the sauna was very specious. Would come back again!"

"The hotel is great and in an amazing location which is right inside the airport. Staff were polite and amazing, great buffet breakfast, there is mini zoo which had wildlife such as monkeys, crocodile, tortoise, parrot, ostriches, peacocks etc. The rooms and facilities was great and it was a great stay. They provided free shuttle to the airport which is a bonus."

The pool could do with a bit of cleaning.

"Der Ausblick ist grandios, das Zimmer sehr gemütlich und geräumig. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Buffet wechselt täglich."

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr groß, sodass wir mit 4 Aufzügen zum HotelSPA fahren mussten (inkl. Straßenüberquerungen). Ein direkter Zugang ist leider nicht möglich. Das SPA sowie die Sportangebote sind öffentlich, sodass nicht nur Hotelgäste diese Angebote nutzen. Das ist nicht unbedingt ein negativer Punkt, muss einem jedoch bewusst sein. Sowohl beim Frühstück als auch beim Abendessen werden die Gerichte einmal bereitgestellt, sodass es, vor allem beim Abendessen, vorkommen kann, dass die Speisen bereits etwas erkaltet sind. Ein frühes Kommen ist daher empfehlenswert.

"Well maintained, super friendly and helpful staff. Room was always well stocked with towels and cleaned. Nicola does a great job by the pool keeping everyone happy with towels, food and drinks. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and the bartender was always smiling and talkative. D Richard’s steakhouse was great - Steak Diane and Filet were both excellent. Sol de Mar had good Mediterranean style food with a relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I ate here on a few occasions- pasta with lobster, veal scallopini both great choices. Close location to a number of off property restaurants that are excellent."

The pads on the loungers are very old, worn thin and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Chef’s Table wasn’t good- we ate only one dinner there and the lobster cake and fish were dried out. The pasta dish with Shrimp had the full shell on the shrimp still making eating very messy. Lobster Fest on the beach was disappointing. The lobster was dried out as it had been sitting under lamps for some time. We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time to finally get a table after speaking with the manager in charge. Very unorganized.

"Die Insel / Anlage ist ein Traum. Von der Begrüßung mit Trommeln und Cocosnus bis zum Abschied einfach traumhaft. Simah und sein Team haben uns bei jedem Anliegen geholfen, sogar Kleinigkeiten die uns fehlten (Spitzer für meine Frau und ihrem MakeUp) bishin nach der Abreise mit organisiertem persönlichem Guide."

Alles hat uns gefallen

"Hotel war extravagant. Wir wurden upgegradet und hatten damit Balkon mit Meerblick.. Kofferträger hat uns hervorragende 5-std. Tour nach Brunei gebucht mit Fahrer nicht allzu teuer. Bufgets für Frühstück und Abendessen waren gigantisch.."

Vom Beach wurde uns abgeraten wegen Krilodilgefahr. Wasserzufuhr für Badewanne war unsauber. Preis insgesamt zu hoch.

Keine Steckdosen beim Bett. Die verbauten Ladebuchsen liefern für moderne Mobiltelefone zu wenig Leistung. Der Haufen kalte Spiegeleier am Frühstücksbüfett ist eines 5*-Hotels unwürdig. Den Kaffee aus dem Automaten fand ich grauslich

"Exceptional site and lovely beaches & swimming pools with good restaurants"

The fact that, despite the heat, rooms were not supplied with drinking water & this had to be ordered from room service at $5 a small bottle. We had just arrived from staying at the Hamilton Princess hotel in Bermuda &, as is normal for luxury hotels of this standard, that had no problem in supplying drinking water to guests free of charge.

Schon beim Betreten wurden wir herzlich empfangen, und das freundliche, professionelle Personal hat uns sofort das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein. Der Service war während des gesamten Aufenthalts aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und stets mit einem Lächeln verbunden. Die Zimmer waren äußerst sauber, modern eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind die bequemen Betten, die hochwertige Ausstattung und die Liebe zum Detail. Auch die Ruhe im Hotel hat zu einer perfekten Erholung beigetragen. Das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight: eine große Auswahl an frischen, hochwertigen Speisen, sowohl süß als auch herzhaft, die keine Wünsche offenließ. Auch die weiteren Angebote des Hotels – ob Wellnessbereich, Restaurant oder Lage – haben uns vollkommen überzeugt. Insgesamt ein Hotel, das in allen Bereichen punktet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!"

Only the lack of internet. There are no connexion even with data. So it can be frustrating when connexion is needed (to check flight for exemple)

"Schöne Location um Sonnenuntergänge zu sehen. Die Outdoor Badezimmer scheinen relativ neu renoviert worden zu sein und die Früchteplatte mit Milch und Saft ist sehr lecker. Personal war sehr freundlich und die elektro Autos die man buchen kann, sind sehr praktisch!"

Da es viele offene Stellen im Bungalow hat, war es mit persönlich morgens zum schlafen zu hell. Das ist aber Motzen auf hohem Niveau.

"Ursprünglich hatten wir ein schlechtes Zimmer bekommen (sehr dunkel, kaputte Fenster und am äußersten Ende der Anlage). Nach Beschwerde bekamen wir ein tolles Zimmer direkt am Strand. Man muss sich nur bewusst sein, dass es dort bis ca. Mitternacht ziemlich laut ist, da in den umliegenden Bars Parties stattfinden."

Die teilweise nicht vorhandene Freundlichkeit der lokalen Hotelmitarbeiter.

"Wenn ich es könnte, würde ich hier gerne Sondersterne vergeben. Das Schloß ist grandios. Die Dame des Hauses sehr nett. Frühstück, Zimmer, etc. alles hervorragend. Zusätzlich gibt es im Keller einen überraschend großen, hochmodernen Spa-Bereich mit zwei saunen, kleinem Schwimmbad, Whirlpool, etc. Wir hatten den für uns alleine. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fanden wir extrem gut."

"nicht gefallen" passt nicht. Aber man sollte sinnvollerweise mit dem Auto anreisen und sich bewußt sein, dass man zum Abendessen ein paar Minuten fahren muss.

"The location is right in the heart of Georgetown, within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The accommodation is beautifully designed,easily the best I’ve seen in Penang. The staff were incredibly friendly and always made sure we were well taken care of."

If I were to nitpick, the dinner menu could be a bit more interesting. Other than that, everything was great.
