Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, in einigen Feuchtbereichen müsste der beginnende Schimmel entfernt werden.

Es ist ein langer Weg vom Parkplatz bis zum Zimmer wenn man einige Gepäckstücke zu tragen hat

"The hotel is great and in an amazing location which is right inside the airport. Staff were polite and amazing, great buffet breakfast, there is mini zoo which had wildlife such as monkeys, crocodile, tortoise, parrot, ostriches, peacocks etc. The rooms and facilities was great and it was a great stay. They provided free shuttle to the airport which is a bonus."

The pool could do with a bit of cleaning.

Leider alles nur mit Fahrzeug zu erreichen (Supermarkt, Strand, Geschäfte usw.)

"A good hotel with a decent and tasty breakfast served in an interestingly located restaurant. The rooms are clean and spacious. It's pleasantly cool in summer even during the heat, although there's no air conditioning. A special highlight is the mountain river flowing nearby — you can hear its sound at night. The location is truly excellent, especially convenient because the free shuttle bus stop is right next to the hotel. In the pool, the water is very warm, but it was impossible to use it — all the spots around the pool were constantly occupied."

"- sehr schöne, zwar schon in die Jahre gekommene Anlage - Essen im Resteraunt war gut, viele frische Salate und Obst. Leider die Themen Resteraunts schon geschlossen - Bier war gut, Cocktails naja - Zimmer sehr groß - großer Indoor Pool, beheizt! Preis Leistung stimmt bei diesem Hotel eindeutig, waren aber in der Nachsaison."

- Kellner im Resteraunt nehmen einen teilweise beim Essen schon das Teller weg - Pool war relativ kühl - Rutschen können von kleineren Kindern nicht verwendet werden, da nur alleine rutschen erlaubt war - Strandliegen sind zu bezahlen, Liegen sind nur für die Palace Gäste

"This apartment is well kept, very clean, comfortable, with all facilities at high level and abundancy. Interior very nice and cozy. SPECTACULAR views from the terrace, definitely that makes this apartment special. The hosts very nice people, very attentive and helpful. Even helped me to take off flat tire and fix it the nearest garage. Communication excellent. If you are in Morgan's Bay, this is would an excellent choice."

Property is managed so well that there is nothing to say negative.

"Ein tolles Hotel direkt im "Dschungel" - ganz im Grünen war es wunderbar. Der große Pool mit Wasserfall hat für den nicht so tollen Strand absolut entschädigt. Außerdem gibt es auf Sentosa soviel zu sehen und zu tun, dass es einem absolut nicht langweilig werden kann."

Ich wollte eigentlich nach einem Singapur-Aufenthalt noch 2 Tage am Strand liegen, baden und mich erholen, aber der Strand war alles andere als schön. Das Wasser war nicht klar (vermutlich durch die ganzen Tanker und Containerschiffe direkt vor der Insel) und nicht sehr einladend. Dafür hat der Pool in der Hotelanlage und meine eigene Badewanne mit Whirlpool auf dem Dach dafür mehr als entschädigt.

Zimmer sehr hellhörig , ( mit Baby empfehle ich Zimmer im Gang weit hinten ) Leider 3 Tage kein Zimmerservice bei uns gewesen

Couldn’t find any ramp which could be wheel chair friendly. A ramp could be introduced for ease of moving luggage’s and for elderly people.

"Der Ausblick ist grandios, das Zimmer sehr gemütlich und geräumig. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Buffet wechselt täglich."

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr groß, sodass wir mit 4 Aufzügen zum HotelSPA fahren mussten (inkl. Straßenüberquerungen). Ein direkter Zugang ist leider nicht möglich. Das SPA sowie die Sportangebote sind öffentlich, sodass nicht nur Hotelgäste diese Angebote nutzen. Das ist nicht unbedingt ein negativer Punkt, muss einem jedoch bewusst sein. Sowohl beim Frühstück als auch beim Abendessen werden die Gerichte einmal bereitgestellt, sodass es, vor allem beim Abendessen, vorkommen kann, dass die Speisen bereits etwas erkaltet sind. Ein frühes Kommen ist daher empfehlenswert.

"I had never been to an all inclusive resort before and was sceptical and personally probably will never do it again but nothing to do with the Bareclo, simply my preference but the resort was totally amazing considering the price. I had one of the bungalows which has large vey well decorated and very comfortable likewise the bathroom. Considering the size of the resort the WiFi was excellent . I never used the pool which was huge but instead the beach and swam several times The beach is stunning and spotlessly clean as to the gardens they are stunning and so well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially so the ones in the dining room I have never seen such a volume of food being served ( and consumed !) in such vast qualities and the staff there in my view were so patient considering what they were dealing with! Overall I cannot fault the resort in any major way you get amazing value for money … congratulations to Barcelo"

The checking in process is very unwieldy on arrival I joined a queue of at least 50 people I got there in the early afternoon and they simply would not let anyone in to their room before 3 pm And surely some of rooms were really and why allow check ins as was available . This is not the first time I have come across this attitude The resort is large and at first it was difficult to find your bungalow as it’s not overly well signposted The was an entertainment lady around the pool screaming down a microphone … why is that necessary ? Overall it was a great stay Well done Barcelo

Wifi ist leider - wie schon so oft bemängelt - immer noch kostenpflichtig. Das ist old school. Das hatte man vor 30 Jahren. Leider.

"Die Unterkünfte sind gut ausgestattete Chalets für 2 oder Familienappartements. Die Anlage liegt direkt an einer Hauptverkehrsanbindung, also keine Schotterstrasse notwendig zu fahren. Das Abendrestaurant war ausgezeichnet. Allerdings zum Frühstück gilt in Bezug auf Angebot, Sauberkeit und Servicepersonal Schulungsbedarf."

Frühstück ist vor allem in Sauberkeit und Personal zu verbessern. War ein krasser Unterschied zum guten Abendservice.

"Die gesamte Atmosphäre ist sehr liebevoll. Die Gastgeberin Chat ist extrem aufmerksam. Es gibt sogar Langzeitgäste, wie eine herzliche französische Dame, die den Gastgebern freiwillig hilft, neue Gäste zu begrüßen"

Frühstück - am zweiten Tag erhielten wir ein Essens-Paket mit Salat, Ei und diversen Cremes; der Speisesaal war in Ermangelung an Gästen geschlossen

"Das außerordentlich bemühte und freundliche Personal, unser Concierge Kaviesh, housekeeping Sheila und die gesamte Gästebetreuung. Es war ein perfekter Platz zum Wohlfühlen und Genießen! Der Strand, der Nirvana Pool, die ausgezeichneten Restaurants, wir haben vor allem das Waves geliebt! Danke!"

Das einzige was wir uns gewünscht hätten, wäre ein Platz für Eiswürfel für das Zimmer zum Selbstholen. Das war leider über die Bar oder Bestellung eher mühsam. Bargeld ist auf jeden Fall auch sinnvoll, da das Flughafentaxi bar zu bezahlen ist.

Wir mussten ziemlich viel zahlen, um vor 14:00 Uhr in das Hotel zu kommen.

The food was somewhat repetitive and sometimes bland.

"Hotel war extravagant. Wir wurden upgegradet und hatten damit Balkon mit Meerblick.. Kofferträger hat uns hervorragende 5-std. Tour nach Brunei gebucht mit Fahrer nicht allzu teuer. Bufgets für Frühstück und Abendessen waren gigantisch.."

Vom Beach wurde uns abgeraten wegen Krilodilgefahr. Wasserzufuhr für Badewanne war unsauber. Preis insgesamt zu hoch.
