"Das Hotel hat eine super Lage! Es ist total ruhig und super entspannt! Es ist niergendwo voll und man hat eine tollen Strand und Pool. Die Zimmer sind Top! Der beste Ausblick überhaupt! Hier wird mit viel liebe zum Detail gearbeitet und das Personal war super freundlich und der Service war auch super! Wir kamen an und waren von der ersten Sekunde an begeistert und entspannt! Es gab absolut nichts auszusetzten und es hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen."

"I truly loved it! It was the perfect getaway on the island. Feels secluded away from the high rise hotel area. The view is breathtaking. The staff is simply the loveliest group of people. Extremely helpful, kind and hospitable. The path at the front of the hotel is perfect for a sunset or sunrise run/walk. The blend with nature is truly top! I loved it"

"The resort is beautiful .. there are large villas and smaller bungalows. It’s right on the beach with a lovely infinity pool and garden overlooking the beach. Rooms are comfortable and staff very friendly."

Das Meer war oft wellig und man hätte den Zugang zum Meer vom Steg aus etwas sicherer machen können.

"Die direkte Strandlage, Vermittlung Taxifahrer nach Kent, Sicherung durch hauseigenen Bootstransfer von Kent nach Daltons Beach und zurück. Standardzimmer ist groß mit Bad, Tisch, Stuhl, Moskitonetz, Handtuch. Verschiedene Aktivitäten im Angebot: historischen Spaziergang und Waldspaziergang bis zur Insel Ricketts sowie Inselumrundung per Boot. Es gibt Angel, Tauch- und Schnorchelmöglichkeiten, ein- oder mehrtägige Ausflüge zur Schildkröteninsel. Speisekarte mit mehreren Frühstücksvarianten, mehrere Gerichte zum Dinner wählbar- wird zur gewünschten Zeit zubereitet. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, vom Koch über Empfang, Manager bis hin zum Eigentümer. Sonnenliegen am Strand, mehrere Sitzplätze mit Tischen auf dem Gelände, Plattform mit Aussicht. Geräte können am Empfang tagsüber aufgeladen werden. Bezahlung mit Karte möglich."

Le prix reste un peu cher pour le Myanmar dans le contexte politique actuel même si il se comprend. Le confort du lit, matelas, était mauvais. Les coupures d'électricité durant tout un après-midi sont aussi à prendre en compte. Enfin les matelas et les serviettes autour de la piscine semblent une option.

"The pool was amazing for my back and joints. The hot water is amazing. Rooms are nice and cosy, the ac was turned on most of the time because it was super cold outside. The staff were very friendly and kind. The location is quiet and the sunset and sunrise view were lovely. There is ample parking as well, that's a huge plus in my book."

"Die Lage war top, 5 min zu Fuß zu einem Strand, der selbst in der Hauptsaison nicht überfüllt ist!! Auch Lokale und vieles mehr gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe."

Wifi nur bei der Rezeption, Lobby nicht nett zum sitzen. Bar nur Mittwoch und Samstag geöffnet. Kein Trinkwasserspender, Restaurants ca 15min zu Fuß

"Sehr freundliches Personal. Überhaupt sind die Menschen in Watamu sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft bietet Platz zur Entspannung. Man hat aber auch die Möglichkeit die Angebote des Ortes sehr schnell zu erreichen."

"Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem schönen kleinen Sandstrand. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und waren entsprechend sehr sauber. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit."

Leider handelt es sich um einen öffentlichen Strand, der insbesondere für Kinder, die freilaufende Hunde nicht mögen, eher ungeeignet ist. Das Hotel ist aufgrund durchweg gefliester Böden und nicht verglaster, sondern nur mit Holzlamellen versehener Lüftungsschächte zwischen Badezimmer und Hotelflur ziemlich hellhörig.

Nothing it a Perfect Place

"The pool, the refrigerator in de room, the ac was cool, close to some stores."

I needed to ask a couple of times in 1 day to clean my room. When I checked in and went for a swim, the guard asked me where my swimming pool wristband was. I had not received one, so I had to leave the pool to get it :(

"The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food. The tropical gardens around the hotel were beautiful and larger than any hotel gardens I have seen elsewhere in Asia and very well maintained. In particular we would like to mention Mr Tony Tong the Hospitality Manager who was very helpful advising us on excursions and sorting out a serious travel problem (0ne railway ticket booked instead of two!)"
