Villen in Botswana

"The house was very charming. The views were gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace! The kitchen was outfitted with lots of dishes, serving dishes, utensils and everything you can think of. We appreciated that."

The kitchen was very cold. The hot tub was older and had a bit of a musty smell and all the jets didnt work. But it was great to have it in a screened in porch. Theres only 1 main bathroom and 1 ensuite. So if you dont mind people walking into your bedroom to get to the 2nd bathroom.

"The villas are on private property just off the beach road that divides the property to peaceful lush gardens with villas and the beach side with pool, bar, outdoor shower and beach area. Villa has a spacious teracce that is perfect spot for relaxing and wildlife watching - birds, iguanas, parrots, butterflies, collibries - better than the Gilpin trail! :) Each villa has own host that met us at our arrival. She helped us to settle, showed us the house and next day she cooked the lunch for us as per our wish - the local cuisine - callaloo, cou cou and mahi mahi and it was delicious."

That we could not stay longer! :) And the fans above the bed were little fast, not able to slow them down.

"The Uncle and Aunty were very helpful and friendly. Upon receiving they have explained everything in clear words. Everything is written with clear instruction in the house so you don't have any issues using any stuff. It was a wonderful experience...perfect place for a family to stay."

La route pour se rendre au mango villa est assez abrupte et nécessite un bon niveau de conduite.... mais la récompense est au bout du chemin

"The view, the house and the sea is unimaginably beautiful. The stairs take you down directly into the sea, and its swimming distance to many of the beaches around. The host is great and it' s easy to communicate. There is wifi, a big plus. Honestly, it's a dream to stay here, it's quiet and calm, relaxing with hammocks and shaded areas, easy to cook together and enjoy."

The road to the house is more of a gravel path most of the time, with a few steep sides.. its really beautiful, also a bit frightening to walk down at first, especially when carrying luggage and bringing kids and so. However, you get really used to it after some trips to the restaurants and small shops. Power outage was rather common mid-day during our stay, maybe it's different during high season. This is just the way it is in this area, and has nothing to do with the house or the host, it's just something to be mindful of. Bring a powerbank 😀

"The location was very good not to far from the centre. The apartment was spacious very cozy and comfortable.The architecture of the building was very nice.It had everything we needed,the kitchen was very rich in utensils.Great experience overall."

"Das Ambiente war schön. Das grüne Holzhaus, die alten Fliesen, der alte Parkettboden. Die junge Frau an der Rezeption war sehr nett und hilfsbereit."

Leider roch es im Badezimmer stark aus dem Abfluss. Wir vermuten, dass das Problem erst auftrat, als wir da waren. Evtl. Nur in unserem Zimmer, weil der Geruch während unseres Aufenthalts stärker wurde.

"Wunderschönes Haus in ruhiger Lage. Sehr groß und super ausgestattet. Super Eigentümerin, die immer sofort und sehr freundlich reagiert hat. Als der Haarföhn nicht funktioniert hat, hat sie uns sofort einen neuen Föhn gebracht! Checkin über Schlüsselbox war einfach."

"Sehr schönes Haus. Die Eigentümer Lisa und Steve waren zuverlässig, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation lief über Mail und vor allem WhatsApp. Die Bezahlung wurde vorab über einen Link auf eine Kreditkartenzahlung abgewickelt, da sie u.a. in Simbabwe und Botswana nicht über Booking funktioniert."
