Villen auf den Kapverden

"Ruhige Lage, geräumiges Haus, das Bett in der unteren Etage bequem. Schöne Umgebung. Nicht weit zum Nationalpark."

"The house has all the amenities one could want. It is in a really calm, safe area, with nearby grocery store, boulangerie. The view from the terrace is amazing, the infinity pool is a nice place to drink some beers or just float. I also enjoyed the running in the area in the direction of the dump site (I know, but the rising sun is just amazing). Valerie and Sarah were really nice and welcoming hosts."

Having to leave it.

"The owner is kind and helpful. When he heard I am landing in TLV at 3AM he did recommend how to reach his place, looked after trains to Beniamina, proposed that in case of absence of taxi from train station he can fetch me. Flexible on check-in and out times. My payment didn’t went by credit card, so I needed to pay cash. Owner said no problem, can wait until I am back from shopping mall."

The part I wasn’t much happy - it’s moskitos,and I think the owner will fix it (cables in the window living small glitch for insects) soon.

There are no mosquito nets. When you don’t like using AC it could be a problem.

Die Küche hat nur einen kleinen Unterbaukühlschrank. Das ist arg klein. Geschirr, Tassen und Gläser gab es reichlich, aber leider keine Töpfe. (nur eine kleine Pfanne) Da sollte unbedingt mal ein Topf Set angeschafft werden.

"Meget venlige værter, der tilbød at hente mig ved færgen og accepterede sen udtjekning. Belligenheden er helt perfekt ud til kysten, hvor man ser isbjerge drive stille forbi. Ikke sidste gang jeg har været her."

Det har ikke så meget med overnatningsstedet at gøre, men hvis man tager til øen i efteråret (jeg var der i oktober) er der ingen steder at gå ud, da alt er lukket. Det skal man huske da det bliver tidligt mørket og solen står sent op.

"Idealne miejsce na rodzinny wypoczynek! Domek położony tuż przy polu golfowym, z pięknymi widokami i mnóstwem przestrzeni do relaksu. W środku czysto, bardzo dobrze wyposażony – niczego nam nie brakowało. Cisza, spokój i pełen komfort sprawiły, że mogliśmy naprawdę odpocząć. Świetna lokalizacja i warunki zarówno dla dorosłych, jak i dzieci. Zdecydowanie polecam – na pewno tu wrócimy!"

"Ausstattung vom der Küche ist sehr gut Zimmer sind bis auf zwei auch auch groß genug . Wohnzimmer im OG ist auch super. Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war gut."

Es war zwar ein Whirlpool vorhanden aber es wird ein zusatzpreis verlangt der sehr teuer ist . In vielen Zimmern fehlt ein Möbel wo man die Kleidung auspacken kann.

"The place was clean and well kept. David our host was very attentive and helpful for anything we needed. He picked us up at the airport and showed us around Roatan. It was close to West End but not loud like staying on the strip."

Could use a can opener

"The house was very charming. The views were gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace! The kitchen was outfitted with lots of dishes, serving dishes, utensils and everything you can think of. We appreciated that."

The kitchen was very cold. The hot tub was older and had a bit of a musty smell and all the jets didnt work. But it was great to have it in a screened in porch. Theres only 1 main bathroom and 1 ensuite. So if you dont mind people walking into your bedroom to get to the 2nd bathroom.

"I stayed here for two weeks during my work trip. The owners, Sandra and her husband, were very friendly and responsive. Before arriving, I checked whether they had a coffee machine in the villa; they made sure I would have one to use when I arrived. They had a brand new espresso machine for me. It was great to have access to good coffee, as Lilongwe's cafe culture is still developing. The housekeeper, Alice, was also excellent—very clean, tidy, and does laundry perfectly. The location is great in a very safe and green area with several tucked away restaurants in 20 -30 min walking distances, but without a car, it is a bit inconvenient to get around. But, this generally applies to anywhere else in Lilongwe. I highly recommend this place if you don’t want to be stuck in a hotel room during an extended work trip or if you're visiting Lilongwe for more than a couple of days."

The pool was a bit cool so I did not use it.

"Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und man hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick vom Balkon. Alles war sehr sauber und man hat eine sehr umfangreiche Ausstattung. Der Strand ist fußläufig in 5 min erreichbar, bis zur Strandpromenade sind es fußläufig eher 15-20min. Daphne war eine wundervolle Gastgeberin und super Aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir können eine Aufenthalt hier nur weiterempfehlen!"

The bathroom.. Especially the one upstairs was not functioning and was not functional. It was spoiled and one had to use a bucket of water to flash. The breakfast provided was quite basic and not worth it.
