Aparthotels auf den Cookinseln

"Das Zimmer war für eine Person ausreichend. Es war sauber und es gab keinerlei Grund zur Beanstandung."

Das Frühstück war eher kontinental. Zwar mit warmen Komponenten (Speck, Würstchen, Eier etc.), aber die Qualität war max. Durchschnitt. So bestanden die Rühreier aus den Instant-Eiern, die man zwischenzeitlich leider allzu oft antrifft, und der Speck war alles andere als knusprig. Für den Preis war das Frühstück insgesamt OK. Ich würde bei einem weiteren Aufenthalt allerdings kein Frühstück zubuchen und anstelle dessen, ein paar Euro mehr ausgeben und irgendwo in der Stadt frühstücken.

"Besonders überzeugt hat mich das sehr gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis der Unterkunft. Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten, sauber und funktional eingerichtet, was den Aufenthalt angenehm und komfortabel gemacht hat. Das Personal war durchgehend freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Auch mein später Check-in verlief absolut reibungslos und gut organisiert, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Die Lage ist ruhig und praktisch. Für Fahrten ins Stadtzentrum empfiehlt es sich, bequem ein Uber zu nutzen – das funktioniert in Doha schnell, zuverlässig und ist preislich sehr fair. So erreicht man alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten unkompliziert. Insgesamt eine solide und empfehlenswerte Wahl für einen Kurztrip nach Doha, insbesondere für Reisende, die Wert auf Komfort und ein starkes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis legen."

Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt im Al Liwan Suites angenehm. Kleinere Verbesserungspunkte betreffen die etwas in die Jahre gekommene Einrichtung in einzelnen Bereichen sowie die Lage, da man für die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten ein Transportmittel benötigt. Ohne Uber oder Taxi ist man weniger flexibel, da sich das Hotel nicht direkt im Stadtzentrum befindet. Zudem könnte die Ausstattung in manchen Zimmerdetails moderner gestaltet sein. Dies sind jedoch eher kleinere Punkte und haben den positiven Gesamteindruck nicht wesentlich beeinträchtigt.

"Ein sehr schönes und sauberes Appartment. Wir würden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Das Appartment ist gut ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht."

Uns hat alles gefallen.

"El hotel en general es muy bonito, y la piscina está muy Bien: Mis chamos no querían salir de la piscina, en especial por el pequeño "Parque" acuático que tienen en las instalaciones de la piscina. Las piscinas las mantienen muy Bien limpias, incluso fuimos testigos de la limpieza exhaustiva que realizaron a la piscina de niños. El personal de mantenimiento le damos un buen "pulgar arriba". Se nos daño la cerradura y la cambiaron Al mismo momento en el que lo reportamos, a pesar de que tenían "various casos de emergencia" que necesitaban atender. Muy bien por El líder de mantenimiento."

El desayuno fue un desastre. Cuando llegamos nos asignaron una muchacha para hacerle seguimiento a nuestra "experiencia" en El hotel y nos dijo: "El desayuno es a la Carta, así que no hay que preocuparse". La verdad es que solo habían 3 tipos de desayuno y eran sumamente estrictos (no se podía cambiar pan por arepa por ejemplo). La Carta decía "huevos Al gusto", sin embargo no había huevos hervidos. A la final nos lo prepararon (porque Les explicamos que eran para Los niños) no sin antes mostrar una cara de desacuerdo y "volteada de ojos" no muy agradable. Por otro lado, El hotel estaba casi full (hecho corroborado por Los mismos administradores / trabajadores del hotel), y la disponibilidad de mesas era escasa, en incluso se hacían colas, especialmente, cerca de la hora de cierre del restaurant (10a.m.). Como especialistas en Gerencia e Ingeniería de costos, entendemos claramente que el objetivo de servir "desayunos a la Carta", es tratar de bajar costos (no toman en consideración que bajar costos en la situación de ocupación en la que se encontraban significa incrementar estrés a su personal y al turista), sin embargo eso se puede hacer con El hotel a poca ocupación (quizas igual o menor Al 30-40%) no con el hotel a 80% de ocupación. La mejor manera de manejar la comida con dicha ocupación, es preparar desayunos tipo Buffett. Se lo hicimos saber a la Gerente encargada del restaurant, sin embargo la misma no recibió la sugerencia de buenas maneras.

"Used as a night stop over before catching ferry next day. Midway between airport and ferry port. Room had everything required, was clean and having bar and restaurant on roof is a nice thing as not much else is around in the area. Staff were attentive."

There were small irritations. TV on arrival was not working but sorted after a message to hotel. Signage to bar restaurant is incorrect should be removed. Took a while before being advised of alternative entry point. Check out process could had been more efficient. Taxi driver ended up paying cash for me as lady with card machine not available

"Perfekte Lage! Marina u Beach in 10min zu Fuß erreichbar. ALLE sind soooo freundlich und hilfsbereit und lesen dir jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab!!!"

"Die Lage ist sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig - direkt an der U-Bahn Station. Gegenüber befindet sich ein Fast-Food Restaurant und direkt daneben 2 Conv.-Stores. Auf jeder Etage befindet sich ein Wasserspender - Wäscheservice kann bei Bedarf in Anspruch genommen werden. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt- von wirklich außerordentlich nettem Personal."

Es gibt nichts negatives. Für Europäer war nur das Badezimmer ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber das weiß man ja vorher. Man gewöhnt sich an die "Nasszelle" - im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes :-) Es wurde ja täglich geputzt, von daher war auch das gut.

فقط هناك شيء واحد لم يعجبني واتمنى ان يعملو على تحسينه.. المفروض يضعوا كارت على الباب الذي يحتوي على عبارة ( عدم الازعاج او الرجاء تنظيف غرفتي) لاننا نضطر كل يوم لابلاغ الارسيبشن ان يقوموا بتنظيف الغرفة واذا نسينا فأنهم لا يقوموا بتنظيفها الا بطلب من الزبون

Kudos Selechi; keep up the good work."

The train rail track in front of the apartment hotel makes it difficult for taxi drivers to pick up or drop off a guest. The rail track extends to about 2 miles past the hotel; the Chinese contractors need to revisit that project.

"Das Hotel bietet verschiedene Unterkünfte an. Unser Apartement Alp lag in einem modernen Haus und war sehr grosszügig. 2 Zimmer mit kleiner funktionaler Küche. Der Frühstücksraum liegt im alten Teil des Hotels und ist optisch nicht so ansprechend. Das Frühstück selber ist vielfältig. Die Lage mitten im Ort ist perfekt und trotzdem ruhig."

Es wirkt alles ziemlich unpersönlich.

"La ubicación y el apartamento en general estan excelentes, lo único esque si son 4 personas 2 deben axostarse en sofás camas pequeños, pero para una noche esta bien."

El sofá cama, pero para el precio y la ubicación se compensa.

Quelques difficultés pour avoir de l'eau chaude à certains moments.

Bei Ankunft,an der Eingangstür hat mit der Code alles funktioniert, aber der Zugang zu Fahrstuhl ließ sich nicht öffnen mit der Code. Zum Glück kam ein Hausbewohner und hat uns die Tür geöffnet, so konnten wir mit Fahrstuhl nach oben fahren. Da bekamen wir Schlüssel womit wir später alle Türen öffnen konnten.

"Wunderschöner Garten, liebevoll gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und bieten viel Platz. 24h Personal anwesend und über Booking Chat auch schnell erreichbare Besitzerin. Die Küche ist einfach ausgestattet. Gutes Wifi und gute, ruhige Lage am grünen, etwas kühleren Los Planes."

Airconditioning kostet leider extra 5$ pro Tag. Die Zimmer sind etwas dunkel.

"Nice setting, clean and comfortable room. Liked seeing the wildlife and walking the trails. In addition to the pool there's also table tennis, a football table and other games you can play which is a nice touch."

There was no tea or coffee in the room. Instead coffee was changed at an excessive rate. The same applies to the resturant: I always expect to pay over the odds in a place like this but this really was excessive! The final thing I thought was harsh is the 10 am check out time especially at low season.

"The room was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice. Unfortunately the weather was not so good when we were there but there was a nice walkway down to the beach and a nice pool area and I would certainly come back and stay for longer in the summer when this hotel would really come into its own."

The staff member served us breakfast but as it was laid out as a buffet I think I'd rather have just helped ourselves. We were the only ones there so it felt a little strange having someone waiting around just in case we wanted an extra slice of break or cup of coffee.

"Das Personal freundlich, man konnte aus dem Fenster das Meer sehen. Das Zimmer war gemütlich."

Erste Linie ist es nicht wirklich. Das Meer und das Hotel trennt eine sehr belebte Straße. Das ist ein Hotel im Hotel. Die Riesengebäude werden von mehreren Verwaltungen betrieben. Es gab daher für uns kein Reception im gewohnten Sinne. Scheint allerdings eine Batumi-Spezialität zu sein.

"Sauberkeit, genug Raum. Der Klima war schon angemacht, als ich gekommen bin, da ich später check-in machen musste. Sehr nette Personal, ich bin aus Montenegro gefahren und später gekommen, ohne Probleme hat mich Schlüssel gewartet und schon alles vorbereitet."
