"Beautiful territory, nice stuff, excellent location, proximity to the beach. Absolutely beautiful place to stay close to the old port, very convenient for the kids to swim. A bit outside of the city and I loved it! Walking distance to the kite beach or shell cemetery. Enjoyed to be surrounded by so many flowers on the territory. Definitely good value for the money. Book in advance!"

The kids bed wasn’t really comfortable and was somehow uneven.

"Mona was exceptionally helpful and communicated clearly to get me settled in. The room was spotlessly clean and the maid service kept it in excellent shape. The staff at the building were friendly and helpful, especially security who looked after our car,"

It is a little hard to find and it might not be a bad idea to have some instructions in thai for the driver, we spent a while locating it. Once found it was easy enough to find again.

Ich war etwas erstaunt, dass man erst ab 9.00 Uhr am Morgen beim Frühstück Spiegel- oder Rührei bestellen konnte, da vorher niemand in der Küche war.

"Insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir haben zwei Nächte dort verbracht. Das Badezimmer bietet ausreichend Platz und die Dusche ist angenehm. Zum Frühstück können wir leider nichts sagen, da wir uns dagegen entschieden haben. In der benachbarten Unterkunft, die mit den Studios verbunden ist, gibt es einen Pool mit Liegen und Stühlen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der von der Unterkunft empfohlene Taxifahrer. Die Fahrt zur Unterkunft kostet 40 $, weitere Fahrten lassen sich unkompliziert über WhatsApp organisieren. Tipp: Sehr empfehlenswerte Restaurants befinden sich nur etwa 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Zum Beispiel Trudy’s Bar & Grill oder Goldie’s."

Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, bis ins Stadtzentrum benötigt man etwa 20 Minuten. Am schnellsten gelangt man dorthin über den Weg entlang des Meeres, der deutlich angenehmer ist als die Route durch die Stadt.

"James ist ein guter Gastgeber, ich habe mich wohlgefühlt. Der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Hafen ist sehr schön. Es gab ein gutes Frühstück (nicht inklusive). Damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet. WLAN und Klimaanlage funktionierten gut."

In die Stadt (zum Abendessen u.ä.) sind es 15 zu Fuß auf steilen Straßen. Ich fand es seltsam, dass nirgendwo ein Schild mit dem Namen des Hotels steht. Aus der Dusche kam nur kaltes Wasser.

"Sehr höflich und sauber. Kontaktfreudig.Ich bekam sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade. Mein Motorrad konnte sicher in der Garage abgestellt werden. Ich kann dieses Hotel sehr gerne weiterempfehlen."

Baulich bedingt gibt es eine Absauganlage der Küche. Sie ist geräuschvoll. Wird aber spät Abends bis zum Vormittag abgestellt.

Bett im Zimmer zu klein. Nur 1.90 m. Ich selber bin 2 m groß......

"We love the area, close to the ocean, the view is fantastic. We lived in Trou deau Douce 25 years ago at Valmarin. It was wonderful to be back and these apartments has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not taking care of. The cleaning lady was very kind."

The apartments weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The underfloor apartment was full of black mold. The pool is not taking care of. No sunbeds. You could easily do a quick renovation, do some painting and take care of these apartments and it would be wonderful. Now we love this area and has lot of friends in Trou deau Douce so we wanted to stay there. We had no contact with the owners, they didn’t answer us, but the housekeeper/cleaning lady was nice and answered, she come and clean when we asked for it.

The only negative for me was the shower was a little small.

The room was basic (ie basic bathroom, wardrobe, tv, no desk) and was in the process of being cleaned when I arrived, but then this could be reflected in the 'budget' cost I paid for the accommodation.

"Für den Preis fand ich gut, dass man ein eigenes Badezimmer hat. Das war allerdings sehr schlicht, keine abgetrennte Dusche. Die Lage ist ok, in 25 min ist man zu Fuß am Busbahnhof. Zur Altstadt ist es auch nicht weit. Da es sehr kalt war, als ich dort war, brauchte man die Heizung (Klimaanlage). Diese hat gut funktioniert, musste aber dafür auf eine höhere Temperatur als üblich eingestellt werden."

Es ist etwas schwer zu finden, da es kein Schild gibt. Daher sollte man sich unbedingt vorher die Bilder vom Eingangsbereich anschauen.

There was no hot water in the studio apartment..at least they should have installed a hot water heater in the shower would be better. the WiFi keeps going on and off.The TV had only 4 to 5 channels.Well, it's Solomon Islands. Everything there is yet to be upgraded.

Tolles Anwesen mit eigener Lagune, gemütlich, erholsam, tolle Zimmer und ein einmaliger Vibe. Die Zeit dort werden wir nie vergessen. Mit dem Rad oder Auto 10-20 Min zur Blue Lagoon"
