The guy at reception messed up my check-out. He couldn't find my booking, said I must have done it privately, and even asked me what my room rate was! Then I told him it was on booking.com again and he said fine, you can go, (presumably cos my credit card guaranteed payment?) Then as I was about to go to the airport he called me back and said you still need to pay. But this is a fabulous place. That was just a minor frustration.

From day 1 the ceramic cook top on the stove did not work.They sent a man to look at it, he could not get it to work.Nothing was done to try and fix it for the 7 days we were there.. No sharp knife to cut meat etc.no can opener. No hair conditioner. No phone to call reception, we were on the 9th floor. Had to keep going up and down to see them for anything you needed. No came to clean our room or even change our towels for the 7 days we were there.We had to go down to reception to request clean towels.Then they insisted we brought the used ones to them 1st, before giving us clean ones.But this shocked us the most, they said if we wanted .more clean ones later in the week, we had to PAY for them. The washing machine did not work properly. The TV did not work, had to get someone up to reprogram it. Neither coffee or tea was provided. But they had a coffee machine in the lobby,BUT that did not work either for the 7 days we were there. They said they had a small shop to sell essentials. But it was hardly ever open, we it was it had next to nothing in it. They have a roof top swimming pool, which trying to getvin and out of was really dangerous. The bars you held onto were not fixed properly with screws to hold it in place missing. The top step was missing altogether, when we tried to get in , not realizing the top step was not there I slipped down to the second step missing it going between it and the wall getting stuck, my wife still not in the pool and a man in the pool has to help me out, really scary and dangerous. I told reception about it , they apologized saying they would send a maintenance man to look at it.But like everything else they said they would fix, NOTHING was done for the 7 days we were there, consequently we did not use the pool again. The water in the taps and shower were far far too hot , scalding hot 🔥, very dangerous.

Air Conditioning hat nur teilweise funktioniert.

Me sorprendio que haciendo la reserva para dos personas solo incluyera desayuno para uno y si el otro queria tenia que pagarlo. Nunca habia vivido una situacion igual

Küchensustattung... kein Kochgas, Besteck und Geschirr wurdr gezählt, kein Toaster, Kein Reinigungsutensiel in der Küche. Das Apartment wurde für zwei Personen komplett grebucht. Räume wurden minimiert vetschlossen, obwohl vollständig bezahlt.

Die Fenster waren herrlich groß, gewährten aber der Öffentlichkeit Einblick, wenn man die Rollos nicht runterzog. Leider gab es keine Nachttischlampe. Es war schwierig, im Bett ein Buch zu lesen. Ich habe mir eine Kerze gekauft und in ein Glas gestellt. Personal habe ich nirgends gesehen. Das ist der Nachteil des praktischen Eincheckens per Code.

"Sehr gute und trotzdem relativ ruhige Lage in der Altstadt. Das Auto kann im abgeschlossenen Hof abgestellt werden (30 €/ Tag). Tadellose Sauberkeit."

Enges Bad mit großer Badewanne ohne Duschvorhang. Sehr dicke für uns unbequeme Kopfkissen.

Fernseher könnte mal erneuert werden. Sonst war alles wie erwartet.

I liked everything about the accommodation and hospitality of the host.

"Super mit Kindern. Sehr angenehmes und engagiertes Personal. Man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause. Jules der "Gerant" kann vieles zu guten Konditionen organisieren. Die Wohnungen haben alles was man braucht, wie Küche, Klimaanlage, zwei Badezimmer, Badewanne, Waschmaschine, etc. Die Gegend ist sicher und die "Résidence" ist zusätzlich gut gesichert durch eine Mauer und einen Wachmann. Alles top und unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen."

Für den Preis hätte die Küche etwas besser ausgestattet sein können, zum Kochen ist es doch etwas eng.

A bit off the beaten path - we were aware of it and it didn't bother us, but be prepared for 1 km or so of dirt road until you get there.

"Besonders gut war die Lage, die frische Luft. Und der Gastgeber, er wartete auf uns, übergab uns die Schlüssel, fragte jeden Tag, wie es uns geht und wollte uns beraten oder helfen. Am Anfang bekamen wir das Begrüßungsgetränk - einen hausgemachten Schnaps, die Kinder Obstsaft. Auf dem Zimmer gab es einen Kräutertee aus den Kräutern in der Gegend."

Sehr viele wechselnde Gäste. Wenn die Gäste selbst z.B. das WC nicht sauber hinterlassen ist es schwierig für das Personal hinterher zu kommen.

Wifi so lala, kann vermutlich niemand etwas dafür Ein Besen o. ä. zum putzen zwischendurch wäre gut

"Saubere Unterkunft, aufmerksames Personal, alle hilfsbereit. Internet stabil, Warmwasser ebenso. Reinigung der Kleidung möglich, insgesamt wirklich empfehlenswert. Es gibt Kochecken, wo man im Bedarfsfall sich selbst Essen machen kann."

Es gibt keine negativen Aspekte. Das Hotel Team und die Security Männer arbeiten super. Fast alle sprechen Englisch.

"Great comfortable three bedroom apartment in Bethlehem. One bedroom with an en suite bathroom. Very helpful and friendly hosts, always ready to help when needed. Within walking distance of the town centre and Manger square."

The actual location of the apartment was not exactly as indicated on the booking.com map, which was not so good for us.

"Excellent no complains great value for the price the nightly rates do not do justice to te quality clean spacious room full size kitchen and bathroom. If you are traveling on a budget I highly recommend this place. I'll be staying there next time. Very quiet also. AC also available and good quality WIFI."

Nothing to dislike about my stay.

"We had a very comfortable and quiet 2 week stay in the Sunset Room. The entire cottage is beautiful and immaculately kept by Demi. We had everything we needed to cook at home but also enjoyed many meals out at local restaurants. Our morning coffee on the balcony before our daily walks on Shoal Bay beach (5 min drive away) were a great way to start each day. Use of the laundry facilities was much appreciated. Hot shower, quality towels, linens and bath products. Demi was very helpful with recommendations. The location was great as we had a car to explore the island. Nothing in Anguilla is far. We loved everything about the island and would highly recommend any of the rooms at The Hidden Cottage."

"Das Appartement hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage mit Blick auf die Burg von Făgăraș sowie seitlich auf die orthodoxe Kirche. Es liegt sehr zentral und verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz, so dass eine Parkplatzsuche nicht notwendig ist. Nahezu direkt unter dem Appartement befinden sich ein ganz kleiner Laden, in dem man das Nötigste (z.B. Getränke) erhält. Ein paar Meter weiter befinden sich eine Apotheke und eine Möglichkeit für Geldwechsel. Auch der Markt für frisches Obst und Gemüse ist nicht weit entfernt. Das Appartement selbst ist wunderschön. Man merkt, dass es gut gepflegt wird! Es ist sauber und ordentlich und die Vermieterin ist jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit, wenn es doch mal Fragen gibt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können das Appartement nur weiterempfehlen!"

"Bisher die beste Unterkunft im Senegal. Europäischer Standard, toller riesiger Pool, Zimmer modern und sauber. Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mitarbeiter, der uns sogar mit dem Roller zum ATM gefahren hat. Frühstück einzigartig. Vorsicht, hier will man länger bleiben als geplant 😁"

Keine Kritik, nur ein kleiner Tipp falls ihr zum Fathala Park wollt, der angebotene Taxi für 20k CFA (es sind 20 min Fahrt!!) kann günstiger erworben werden indem man sich einfach an die Hauptstraße stellt und Einheimische fragt. Wir sind für 8k hin gekommen
