"The place was clean, at a nice location, walk to the beach. The staff was also amazing especially Salum the caretaker who was quick to respond. The owner is also amazing. They also offered recommendations on what's good close by."

Location was far from the main tourist centers in Nungwi and stone town. Suggest getting a car if you are there - lucky we had one. Otherwise great stay!

From day 1 the ceramic cook top on the stove did not work.They sent a man to look at it, he could not get it to work.Nothing was done to try and fix it for the 7 days we were there.. No sharp knife to cut meat etc.no can opener. No hair conditioner. No phone to call reception, we were on the 9th floor. Had to keep going up and down to see them for anything you needed. No came to clean our room or even change our towels for the 7 days we were there.We had to go down to reception to request clean towels.Then they insisted we brought the used ones to them 1st, before giving us clean ones.But this shocked us the most, they said if we wanted .more clean ones later in the week, we had to PAY for them. The washing machine did not work properly. The TV did not work, had to get someone up to reprogram it. Neither coffee or tea was provided. But they had a coffee machine in the lobby,BUT that did not work either for the 7 days we were there. They said they had a small shop to sell essentials. But it was hardly ever open, we it was it had next to nothing in it. They have a roof top swimming pool, which trying to getvin and out of was really dangerous. The bars you held onto were not fixed properly with screws to hold it in place missing. The top step was missing altogether, when we tried to get in , not realizing the top step was not there I slipped down to the second step missing it going between it and the wall getting stuck, my wife still not in the pool and a man in the pool has to help me out, really scary and dangerous. I told reception about it , they apologized saying they would send a maintenance man to look at it.But like everything else they said they would fix, NOTHING was done for the 7 days we were there, consequently we did not use the pool again. The water in the taps and shower were far far too hot , scalding hot 🔥, very dangerous.

"Mein Aufenthalt bei Casa Tumi in Lesotho war einfach einzigartig! Das authentische und herzliche Ambiente ließ mich sofort wie bei Familie fühlen. Besonders unvergesslich war der geführte Ganztages-Ausritt in die Berge – ein einmaliges Erlebnis, das mir die atemberaubende Landschaft Lesothos auf eine ganz besondere Weise nähergebracht hat. Ein großes Highlight war die Versorgung durch Doreena, die sich unglaublich herzlich um mich gekümmert hat und mir jeden Wunsch von den Augen ablas. Ihr liebevolles Engagement hat den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht und zu einem der schönsten Erlebnisse meiner Reise gemacht. Casa Tumi ist absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die eine persönliche und familiäre Unterkunft suchen!"

Es gibt nichts, das nicht gefällt.

Da das Wasser abgestellt war, war das Wasser aus dem Tank kochend warm. War unschön, im Nachgang habe ich festgestellt das den Hahn neben den Eingangstür geöffnet werden können.

"I cannot recommend this place enough. It was exactly what we were looking for and 1000 times better than the hotel we stayed in the night before for a similar price. It was beautifully decorated, so clean and comfortable, had everything you could need and was in a good location. Don't stay anywhere else, this is the best place in Libreville!"

"Sauber, sehr zentral, mit Aufzug und Klimaanlage in hervorragender Lage mitten im jüdischen Viertel."

Wir hatten eine Wasserundichtigkeit im Bad, der aber schnell nachgegangen wurde. iIm Sommer 2025 gab es eine Baustelle, auf die man vom Balkon aus schaute. Uns hat dies nicht gestört.

Needed more kitchen utensils

"Seyfu is giving his best to satisfy his guests. He came to pick me up to the airport, showed around Lalibela, even took me as a guide to few rock-hewn churches, for free, provided breakfast every morning, all for free, even though it wasn’t included in my booking. His place is clean, yet within local community, which I really liked. You see how locals live. It is onsuite room with large bed, separate entrance, free wifi, towels changed every day, bed made every day. I don’t have enough words to describe his hospitality. You simply become friend with Seyfu straight away. Thank you brother for everything!"

"My family had a wonderful experience. The check in process was easy. It's important to inform the staff about time of arrival. Also I texted and emailed before hand and the staff were responsive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My favorite part was the full kitchen . We were able to cook our own meals. Another favorite are was the washer and dryer. 3 rooms were located on the second floor and my family was very comfortable with the set up. The location was around 5 minute drive to Tumon beach and the malls. It's important to have a car rental when renting this apartments. It was a great value for money. I would stay here again"

"Sehr gute Lage, 5 Minuten mit Uber vom Flughafen entfernt, unweit vom Oakland Place Mall. Jeden Tag wird sauber gemacht. Es gibt eine gemeinschaftsküche, es gibt einen Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, zwei Herdplatten. Es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsraum. Das Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad, das Bett ist sehr bequem. Es gibt ein Regal im Zimmer und einen Kühlschrank."

"Ca 3h vor unserer Ankunft erhielt ich eine WhatsApp mit der Info, dass das gebuchte Apartment leider einen Wasserrohrbruch hatte weshalb wir umgebucht wurden, es war ein Upgrade in das Marina Residential Estate direkt an der Waterfront. Zu dem Mouille Point Apartments kann ich daher nichts sagen, außer dass der kurze Kontakt per WhatsApp freundlich und unkompliziert war."

The cooker didn't work

"Die Lage ist einzigartig. Als Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Inseln absolut günstig gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Die Ausstattung, bis auf absolute Kleinigkeiten, top, man kann sich rundherum wohlfühlen. Sehr gute Betten, die angenehmen Schlaf garantieren. Angenehme Wärme in der gesamten Wohnung. Wir würden das Boathouse auf jeden Fall wieder buchen."

Eine kleine Ablagemöglichkeit (z.B. eine kleine Wandkonsole) direkt am Bett (für Handy, Taschentücher, Uhr) wäre schön.

"Loved the location and staff was so kind and welcoming.. The location is exceptional.. This place took my trip experience at Saint maarten to the next level. Highly recommended."

Bedding. I personally prefer white sheets for places to stay. It's the only way I can tell 100% that my bed is clean.

"Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und durften ein sehr sauberes und gepflegtes Zimmer beziehen. Die Unterkunft liegt im grünen, direkt am Meer. Es gibt Kajaks die umsonst zur Verfügung stehen. In einer super ausgestatteten Gemeinschaftsküche kann gekocht werden. Auch Schnorchel sind vorhanden."

Immer wieder verirren sich große Wespen in die Hütten. Insektennetze könnten auch vor den Spalten im Dach installiert werden um dem entgegenzuwirken.
