"Very large comfortable room, clean and nice, kitchen available. Proprietor was very kind and helped me when I didn't manage to open the door."

Entrance is hard to find, I first thought I was in the wrong place.

"Sushma and her husband were really lovely and helpful - milk for the morning coffee, delicious Orange juice and the phone number of a reliable taxi driver 😊 We got great advice to get around in the area without using a car, all in walking distance of 15-30 mins. The bed is very comfortable. A huge bathroom with hot water."

It’s a residential area and in the evening it’s tricky to get a taxi at the main road to go to Grace Bay where you‘ll find most restaurants. To return is easy as there are always taxis at the Ritz Carlton. We didn’t want to rent a car as we only stayed 2 days which was okay in the day but a little tricky in the night.

Wir haben zwei Ausflüge über die Unterkunft gebucht die sehr gut waren .

Dusche im Bad mit Vorhang, beim Duschen schwimmt der ganze Fußboden im Bad. Geruch im Flur auf Stockwerk 16 sehr unangenehm. Frühstücksauswahl begrenzt.

"Super freundliches Personal. Wir konnten das Zimmer bis zu unserer Abfahrt nach Cuyabeno (nachts) nutzen, und unser Gepäck für mehrere Tage im Hotel 'lagern'. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und alles war sauber."

Die direkte Hotelumgebung scheint nicht die Allerbeste zu sein.

Hélas clim défectueuse mais hôte réactif en nous proposant un ventilateur très silencieux et ce fut très bien.

Frühstück war etwas einfach und unpersönlich. Wenig Kommunikation. Einzelheiten waren zu schmal/ zu kurz.

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

Die Zufahrt, insbesondere bei Dämmerlicht, ist eine Katastrophe. Es gibt Kaltwasser im Bad. War einziger Gast. Etwas einsam dort. Der Preis ist zu hoch.

"Alles perfekt, sehr freundliches Personal! Die Lage ist für Niš wirklich super. Man erreicht alles innerhalb weniger Gehminuten, so dass man das Auto gar nicht braucht."

"Everything was at an excellent level. The hospitality of the hosts, the food in their restaurant, the view from the apartment, the heating during the winter period, and the location. We will definitely come back again."

"Traumhafte, weitläufige Anlage, direkt am Wanderweg zum Vulkan. Eher abgeschiedene Lage, ein Auto oder Roller sollte man haben. Man kann aber auch mit Bus oder Taxi anreisen und sich vor Ort einen Roller mieten, er wird in die Finca gebracht. Die Hütten liegen weit auseinander, mit viel Grün dazwischen. Sie sind einfach, aber sehr sauber - darauf kommt es ja an. Die Besitzerin ist sehr hilfsbereit, hat uns die Auto-Fähre gebucht und ist in Vorkasse gegangen. Auch bei Ausflügen ( Kanu-Tour) ist sie behilflich. Frühstück und Abendessen kann dazu gebucht werden. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker."

Die Hütten sind schon sehr einfach ausgestattet. Mit der ersten waren wir nicht zufrieden, die Besitzerin hat uns aber umgehend eine andere angeboten. Nochmals danke dafür.

Zimmer war etwas klein aber für eine Durchreise ausreichend

"Super gut, Ingrid ist ein toller host, rin Sonnenschein. Man fühlt sich wie zuhause"

Alles war bestens

"Friendly owner, clean place, comfortable bed, basic kitchen appliances in the room, as well as in the shared kitchen. Nice little outside seating areas. Quiet location, walking distance to the ferry. You can also rent a car from the owner should you need one."

Not much space in the room to move around, the on suite bathroom was a bit uncomfortable (really just a lil plastic box in the room, kinda see thru and if you wanna take a shower, everything gets wet and the room gets humid) so we opted for the shared bathroom in the hallway. The fan in the shared kitchen didn't work and there aren't many plates/bowls etc.

"Es war ein absolutes Privileg, im altehrwürdigen Haus des ehemaligen Gouverneurs von Lamu zu wohnen. Das gesamte Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und sorgt dafür, dass man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Kulinarik: Das Frühstück mit hauseigenen Bio-Produkten ist hervorragend und das Swahili-Dinner ein echtes Muss! Auch das nachhaltige Konzept mit den praktischen Bio-Toiletten hat überzeugt. Die Lage ist zudem perfekt und ruhig gelegen, aber dennoch in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Seafront, den Restaurants, Märkten und Geschäften. Ich kommen definitiv wieder!"
