Bed & Breakfasts in Côte d'Ivoire

"I arrived late and the taxi driver was unsure of the location. However the owner ( manager) came out to meet us and showed me the cabin, there was a language barrier as I don’t speak French, however with the help of google translate this was overcome. The breakfast was good and plentiful with egg, dates, yoghurt and bread with a juice and coffee. The owner was very helpful despite the language, the cabins are functional and good fun and first thing I walked (30 seconds) to the beautiful beach at sunrise!"

"Ich kann das Guesthouse nur empfehlen. Es liegt relativ ruhig gelegen im nubischen Dorf noch vor der Einkaufsstraße. Der Besitzer hat für uns mehrere tolle Ausflüge organisiert und uns bei allem geholfen. Auch das Frühstück war super."

"Super geniale Lage direkt am Strand, vielleicht 10m Entfernung zum Wasser Sehr Abenteuerlich aber auch gewöhnungsbedürftig in so einer Fale zu übernachten. Insbesondere bei Gewitter und Starkregen. War eine tolle Erfahrung Außergewöhnlich nette Gastgeberin Sehr hilfsbereit mit allem Besonders zu erwähnen das jeden Tag frisch zubereitete Frühstück und Abendessen, sensationell gut und lecker Absolute Empfehlung Danke nochmals für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!!!"

"Good and quiet location. Positive was parking in the yard, rooms were spacious."

The only downside was that the restaurant was closed due to the holidays.

Dazu gab es Toast, Kaffee und einen obstsalat. Das Bad war ein gemeinschaftsbad. Da wir aber die einzigen Gäste waren, hatten wir es für uns allein. Es waren Bademäntel, Hausschuhe, eine Menge an hand- und duschtüchern, pflegeprodukten und allerhand anderen Sachen zur Verfügung gestellt. Das b&b ist in seiner sehr ruhigen Lage."

Das Bett in unserem zimmer war wirklich sehr klein für 2 Personen

"Highlight sind die zahlreichen wunderschönen Vögel, die sich auf dem Gelände der Lodge und dem nahegelegenen Sumpfgebiet tummeln. Ein Traum! Die Lodge selbst besticht durch ihre Außenanlagen und die geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmer und Restaurant. Das Essen ist nicht preiswert für ugandische Verhältnisse, aber sehr lecker! Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit."

Die Anreise mit Fähre und Boda Boda war etwas abenteuerlich und ziemlich staubig. Wer's bequemer haben will, reist gleich mit dem Motorboot von Entebbe an.

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)

"The way they treated me is out of my expectations. They understood my situation of flights cancellation, modification and of course my financial changes. I really loved the staff, cleaning, friendly environment, cooking facilities and much more. Suggests everyone to come and enjoy luxurious facilities at low cost. Hats off to Penthouse Hotel."

Their is nothing i can assume to be bad. Everything was above my expectations. Everyone should try it at least. No one will say that they found something bad on this hotel.

"This was my second time staying here, and I really appreciate how clean and well-maintained the place is. It’s comfortable, decent, and offers great value for money. The staff were polite and helpful, making the stay even better."

There’s no full kitchen available — just a small area with a microwave and an icebox. But considering the cost, it’s still a good deal.

The price is really good.I have no complain.

"Great breakfast and I like that it was a la carte. I can't say enough about it nor about the staff. Everyone was very courteous, professional, helpful, and accommodating. I also loved the location, only a few minutes from Palais Sans-Souci and Citadelle."

"Die Lage ist sehr gut! Es ist super sauber! Das Zimmer war groß. Ich konnte durch meine Fenster wunderbar den Rampestreken mit der Seilbahn beobachten. Das Bett ist gut. Es war ruhig im Haus. Mit den Badezimmern gab es auch gar keine Probleme. Ich verstehe die vielen negativen Bewertungen hier nicht. Es ist kein Fünfsternehotel, aber es ist eine sehr passable Unterkunft. Vielen Dank!"

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.
