"Frühstück mit dem selbstgemachten Kuchen war sehr gut! Lage war ein Traum - 2 Meter zum Meer! Vielen lieben Dank an Carol and Joe über diese so wunderschöne Unterkunft und das sehr gute Frühstück. Nachdem wir nach 22 Jahren Ehe wieder nach Bermuda zurückgekommen sind, haben wir Bermuda immer noch als solch wunderschöne Insel erleben dürfen. Wir haben eine jede Sekunde voll genossen und all unsere Freunde wieder getroffen. Watercoulours mit Carol und Joe kann ich jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen und sobald wir es wieder schaffen nach Bermuda zu kommen, hoffen wir wieder eine Unterkunft bei Carol und Joe zu bekommen. Da gab es nichts!

"Das Frühstück war super. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, außer dass Kaffee/Tee extra berechnet wird, was für uns eher ungewöhnlich ist. Die Lage/Aussicht ist toll, allerdings muss man sich dass mit einer steilen und schmalen Anfahrt erkaufen.(Dies wird aber im Ort fast überall so sein)"

Bei voller Zimmerbelegung ist die Parkplatz-Situation etwas schwierig, weil einfach zu wenig Platz am Berg ist! Alle Autos stehen dann hintereinander auf dem Hof, d.h. spontane Fahrten muss man vorher „anmelden“.

"Nicht vom ersten Eindruck täuschen lassen. Nach 14 Tagen Rundreise mit Massen an Menschen waren wir froh, in dieser Einrichtung gelandet zu sein. Ruhig und ein wenig Natur herum."

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

"Zum Abschluss unserer Sri Lanka Reise haben wir uns mal eine Unterkunft direkt am Strand gegönnt! Traumhaft! Direkt vom Zimmer, mit Balkon oder Terrasse, an den Strand! Einziges Manko war der schlechte Druck auf der Dusche. Das haben wir aber häufiger erlebt. Es gibt eine Außendusche an der das Haare waschen besser gelang. Die Familie war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit! Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!"

Everything was great, The only small suggestion would be to offer either thicker blankets or a cozy duvet for extra comfort for those who likes to sleep with the air conditioning but gets super cold easily 😅

"Einfache aber gut ausgestattete und saubere Lodge in den Highlands von Lesotho. Wir waren zu viert auf der Durchreise und waren in zwei komfortablen Zimmern untergebracht. Bad mit Dusche bzw. Badewanne im Zimmer, Klimaanlage, Heizdecke - es kann kalt werden in den Bergen- Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Frühstück und Abendessen gab es in der Lodge serviert als Tellergericht. Zum Frühstück noch Obst und Cerialien zur Selbstbedienung. Beides sehr lecker und ausreichend. Vegetarisch war auf Anfrage kein Problem. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hat uns alle Wünsche direkt erfüllt. Ein kleiner Kiosk ums Eck hat eine kleine aber feine Auswahl an Getränken und regionalem Bier und lädt zum Plausch mit den Leuten vor Ort. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen."

"Great breakfast and I like that it was a la carte. I can't say enough about it nor about the staff. Everyone was very courteous, professional, helpful, and accommodating. I also loved the location, only a few minutes from Palais Sans-Souci and Citadelle."

"We had a pleasant stay for our ski week. Ski slopes are very close and can be reached within minutes by foot. Our host was very kind and helpful in everything. The restaurant under the accomodation serves delicious food, perfect for after ski dinners. No noise can be heard above from restaurant. Rooms are very clean and well equipped, we had everything needed for our daily routine. We will probably return later on."

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abseits in einer ruhigen und sicheren Gegend. Man wohnt im Haus eines pensionierten Ehepaars und hat ein eigenes Bad und ein Zimmer mit zwei Betten. Der Gastgeber spricht englisch und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Er hat angeboten, uns ins Restaurant zu fahren. Bei der Abreise hat er uns zur Bushaltestelle gefahren und mit uns gewartet, bis der Bus nach David gekommen ist. Er ist ein sehr liebenswerter Mensch."
