Boote auf La Réunion

"Our stay on the Yathra Houseboat will always stay in our minds and hearts. This is our second time within 3 years. We had a vacation of our life with all the comfort and pampering by the staff on the boat. The cruise on the river provided rare glimpse of few exotic birds and a large group of monkeys. The narrations by the Manager of the Dedduwa Boat House about those birds were very informative. The Skipper was kind enough to stop along the river bank to watch the birds closely and take photographs. The candle-lit dinner and the night spend on the upper deck was simply magical. The next day my husband even managed catch some fish while cruising. The staff arranged them to be prepared for our lunch and that dish was out of this world. The staff went an extra mile to make us happy. The bedrooms and the facilities on board were above standard. This is the best destination we spend while in Sri Lanka. Keep it up Yathra and we will back again next year."

Es war alles perfekt

"Der Aufenthalt auf einem Boot war für uns etwas vollkommen Neues. Darum waren wir auch wirklich über die Ausstattung überrascht, eine gemütliche Sitzecke, eine außergewöhnliche Küche, ein Bad und vor allem eine unheimlich gemütliche Koje mit Leselicht. Alles befand sich in einem sehr guten und sauberen Zustand. Wer einen etwas außergewöhnlichen Urlaub machen möchte, ist mit der Buchung der Black Lady gut bedient. Die sehr netten Gastgeben sind sehr bemüht und freundlich."

Ein bisschen hat uns die heiße Dusche gefehlt. Wir vollkommenen Bootsneulinge hatten auch zu Beginn einige Schwierigkeiten mit dem etwas öligen Geruch. Und der Umgebung (Fischereihafen).

"Es handelt sich hier um ein selbst ausgebautes Frachtschiff. Es ist alles vorhanden, sogar ein kleines Bad mit Dusche in jedem Zimmer. Wir konnten die Küche benutzen und ein Abendessen kochen. Zum Frühstück (Extrakosten) gab es selbst gekochte Marmelade. Der Kapitän ist superfreundlich, die Atmosphäre familiär. Das "Wohn-Esszimmer" kann von allen Gästen genutzt werden. Die Lage des Schiffes könnte nicht besser sein, superzentral. Wir waren sehr froh, diese besondere Unterkunft gefunden zu haben."

"Von Anfang bis zum Ende war alles reibungslos - Igor hat sofort auf Fragen reagiert und es kam zu keinen Problemen. Wir würde sofort wieder hinfahren. Die Ausstattung des Hausbootes entspach zu 100% der Angaben, es war alles sauber und es gab mehr als genug Handtücher. Wenn man was kritisieren will dann das eine Outdoorküche zu installieren aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau :)"
