"It was so peaceful, and the staff were brilliant and very welcoming. Such a perfect location on the hillside looking over the lake. The accommodation was super comfortable, it was difficult to leave!"

"Good Wifi. The property was large, with three upstairs bedrooms, two bathrooms, downstairs kitchen and sitting areas as shown on Booking.Com. There was a parking space allocated for guests on the road."

When we arrived there was no heating. This was turned on virtually after we contacted the host, but then stopped working. This did not warm the property which is a big space and all tiled floors. There was also no hot water. The gateman was sent to fix the water but we had to call the host to get him back 3 times, as it was still not working. The gateman then said he was going to sleep and walked out on us leaving us with no hot water. We were told to wait 30 min and there would be hot water but we had no hot water in the evening or early morning. By 10.30 there was luke warm water. We used kettles of warm water to shower. We slept in our thermals, clothes plus gloves/scarves . The place is very poorly maintained with many fixtures broken, the property was also dirty especially the kitchen. There were only 4 mugs, one chipped and one with a hole in the side. Plates were covered in food and not washed. The cutlery was very dirty. No lights worked over the dining room table. Only one hand wash in the downstairs toilet, and one shampoo between the two bathrooms upstairs, the listing stated toiletries provided. Towels were dirty and stained, plus holes on bedding, chairs, and pillow cases. This is the worst place we have ever stayed at and IS NOT SUITABLE FOR A WINTER STAY. No fire lighter was left. The owner is virtual and sends a gateman so I am not sure the owner is aware of the state of the property. We reached out upon returning to the UK via Booking.com to put in a complaint and Booking.com confirmed the host wold not provide any compensation instead Booking.com apologised on behalf of the property.

"Sehr ruhig gelegen. Ein paar ganz tolle Restaurants in der Nähe. Rollervermietung möglich (Areal ist sehr weitläufig). Staff sehr hilfsbereit bei allen Anliegen. Preis-Leistung top!"

Moskitonetz leider mit kleinen Löchern, sollten mal ersetzt werden. Hatte jedoch keine Probleme mit Stichen.

"Daphnee war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Super Preis Leistung, sogar für die erste Mahlzeit lagen Lebensmittel bereit ,Eier Kartoffeln ,Butter auch Öl und Gewürze. Unbedingt empfehlenswert."

עלות השיהיה לילה אחד זוג +2 כמעט 400 יורו . המקום טוב מאוד אך לא יוקרתי גם בהשוואה למערב אירופה המחיר יקר ( מחלה של כל הצימרים בארץ ) אז אם מתעלמים מהמחיר הציון 10

"Martin, el propietario es una persona apasionada por su proyecto, extremadamente amable, felxible (hora de llegada). Villa Gasconia está hecha con corazón. Esta muy cerca de Antigua en carro, a un par de quilómetros."

"Ein wirklich nettes Quartier mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Meer in Richtung Westen - wunderbar um den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Das Cottage ist liebevoll und funktional eingerichtet, es war perfekt für uns als Familie zu viert. Der beheizte Pool mit Blick aufs Meer war einmalig. Parkplatz direkt neben dem Cottage, angenehme Einfahrt mit Fernbedienung für das Tor. Alles war gut organisiert, die Frühstückskörbe wurden immer zur vereinbarten Zeit von netten Mitarbeiterinnen gebracht und waren gut, reichlich und abwechslungsreich gefüllt. Am Abreisetag wäre sich für uns kein Frühstück ausgegangen; deswegen haben wir am Abend davor einen Korb bekommen um uns etwas für den Weg mitnehmen zu können."

Eigentlich gibt es nichts Negatives zu berichten. Einzig den Griller kann man eigentlich leider nicht verwenden, wenn man nicht alles für 1x Grillen selbst kaufen möchte (z.B. Kohle, Anzünder). Hier wäre ein Angebot - auch gerne gegen eine kleine Gebühr - vor Ort sicherlich hilfreich.

Some of the highlights were the last 10 minutes off road in the SUV we’d picked up at the airport to reach the farmhouse, the humongous fireplace we cooked on must nights, the short walk up to the swimming pool area which felt like being in a completely different property, the silence and light. Ángeles is a wonderful host who made sure we had everything we might need including a bottle of her brother’s delightful home made wine. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, you just must book it!"

"Die Lage des Chalets ist klasse, nahe an Genk und doch in ruhiger Lage im Wald. Ein toller Garten sowie eine schöne Terrasse gehören ebenfalls dazu. Perfekt! Morgens kann man mit einer Tasse Kaffee in der Hand den Vöfel beim Speisen zuschauen. 😀 In 10 min kann man in Genk sein und auch nach Maastricht ist man fix gefahren. Das Chalet bietet alles, was man im Alltag benötigt und ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. 😀 Vielen lieben Dank!"

"Es war alles perfekt. Die Unterkunft ist einzigartig in Coron. Eine sehr süsses, verwinkeltes, gemütliches Bungalow mit toller Aussicht, zwei eigenen Badezimmern, und eigener Küche. Die Besitzer sind die hilfreichsten, engagiertesten und liebsten Vermieter, die ich je kennenlernen durfte. Maricel hat einfach bei allen Fragen zur Organisation meiner Reise geholfen. Angefangen schon vor meiner Ankunft, während meines Aufenthaltes und sogar noch danach."

Wenig Haken um Handtücher aufzuhängen im Bad. Viel Feuchtigkeit vor allem an Fenster gesammelt jeden Morgen. Küche ist nur für 1 Person gedacht. Wenn einer kocht kommt man nicht an den Kühlschrank mit 8 Personen schwierig wenn man beispielsweise zu zweit für alle kocht Dusche setzt immer alles unter Wasser
