"The host -Dumisa was very friendly and even though we had issues at the boarder he waited for us to arrive very late at night and escorted us to the place. The house was spacious, clean and good value for money."

"Ruhige Lage, geräumiges Haus, das Bett in der unteren Etage bequem. Schöne Umgebung. Nicht weit zum Nationalpark."

"The house was very charming. The views were gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace! The kitchen was outfitted with lots of dishes, serving dishes, utensils and everything you can think of. We appreciated that."

The kitchen was very cold. The hot tub was older and had a bit of a musty smell and all the jets didnt work. But it was great to have it in a screened in porch. Theres only 1 main bathroom and 1 ensuite. So if you dont mind people walking into your bedroom to get to the 2nd bathroom.

Es war zwar ein Whirlpool vorhanden aber es wird ein zusatzpreis verlangt der sehr teuer ist . In vielen Zimmern fehlt ein Möbel wo man die Kleidung auspacken kann.

"Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Rxxx! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Herzblut in dem schönen Haus steckt. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft und perfekt zum Entspannen. Besonders hilfreich waren Rxxx tolle Tipps – dadurch konnten wir die Gegend noch besser kennenlernen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung"

"Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett. das Frühstück sehr SEHR gut, alles sehr höflich und unkompliziert."

Der einzige Kritikpunkt als "großer" Mensch: das Bad im Zimmer ist nicht zwingend für Leute geeignet, die 1,95 m sind, aber man kann sich arrangieren. Dennoch sauber, toll und wirklich eine tolle Gastgeberin.

"Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und man hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick vom Balkon. Alles war sehr sauber und man hat eine sehr umfangreiche Ausstattung. Der Strand ist fußläufig in 5 min erreichbar, bis zur Strandpromenade sind es fußläufig eher 15-20min. Daphne war eine wundervolle Gastgeberin und super Aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir können eine Aufenthalt hier nur weiterempfehlen!"

"Sehr großes Grundstück mit Sauna, Whirlpool, Pool, große Wiese, Gemeinschaftsraum draußen mit einem Kühlschrank. Sehr großes Gebäude mit gut ausgestatteter Küche, Billardtisch, Tischfußball. Ruhige Umgebung und alles ist eingezäunt. Nette Gastgeberin."

"The location, setting, aesthetics, service, views, everthing was excellent! The property is exactly what it looks like in the pictures. It served as the perfect setting for 5 of us boys to kickback and give the much needed relaxation to our bodies. The views of Machapuchare and Annapurna II & IV are mindblowing and I recommend catching the sunrise over them. The kitchen is well equipped and the house has been done up tastefully. It's less than 1 hour away from the city and is an excellent getaway. Can't wait to be back to this property."

"Breakfast and dinner was superb, a mix between Sri Lankan and western dishes. The team was very attentive for all our needs and the kids loved the pool. Great place to stay for a night or two."

One room had quite an odour (mold probably) from the bathroom, but this is the norm in Sri Lanka usually. Not a big deal. Just close the door to the bathroom.

"Good location near city centre (10 min walk). A nice little garden. Wifi and aircon. A very nice and helpful host."

Hard to find. In need of renovation but it seems like it's underway.

"Meget venlige værter, der tilbød at hente mig ved færgen og accepterede sen udtjekning. Belligenheden er helt perfekt ud til kysten, hvor man ser isbjerge drive stille forbi. Ikke sidste gang jeg har været her."

Det har ikke så meget med overnatningsstedet at gøre, men hvis man tager til øen i efteråret (jeg var der i oktober) er der ingen steder at gå ud, da alt er lukket. Det skal man huske da det bliver tidligt mørket og solen står sent op.
