"Everything was excellent, good stuff. Clean and comfortable room. The room had air conditioning and a balcony with a nice view. If you want to relax in a quiet place with good nature, with good housewives, I recommend this house. I think next year I will definitely come again."

Really, I like everything.

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.

"Parakklesia hat eine tolle Lage für alle Aktivitäten. Sowohl Ausflüge als auch verschiedene Strände sind sind top zu erreichen. Mit eine Mietwagen selbstverständlich. Die Ortschaft hat reichlich kleine Supermärkte und Restaurants die fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Die Vermieter Aristos und Maria sind unübertrefflich nett. Sie sind unheimlich hilfsbereit und finden für alles eine Lösung Immer erreichbar. Es gab Wein, Milch, Obst und ein Tabletten mot Kaffee, Tee und allem was dazu gehört. Das reichte uns für 9 Tage!"

"Die Lage im Dorf war sehr schön und ruhig. Kleine Supermärkte sind fußläufig erreichbar (750 Meter).Das Haus ist umringt von einem traumhaften Garten. Für uns als Familie war der Pool und das Trampolin Gold wert. Wir haben schöne entspannte Stunden verbracht. Es gab sogar die Möglichkeit draußen zu kochen und zu backen. Suzana, die Besitzerin ist wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sie hat uns immer mal wieder Obst und Gemüse aus ihrem eigen Garten vorbei gebracht. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt um Wanderungen in die Berge zu unternehmen."

"The view from restaurant is awsome, not many places in the world like this. Maria took care of us with love. Breakfast excellent, local fruits, tea and coffee, omelette. Excellent grilled tuna or other fish for lunch or dinner. Cottage was clean, with a view on ocean. We were almost alone there. It is possible to pay by eur or dobra. Maria also arranged tacxi for the airport."

"Einfaches, ausreichendes Zimmer. Ein super netter Besitzer mit seinen fleißig unterstützenden Söhnen steht für Fragen jeder Art zu Verfügung. Sie haben uns extra Decken und einen Heizlüfter zur Verfügung gestellt und waren jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Gespräche waren sehr interessant und das Abendessen sehr lecker. Das Frühstück gab es im Tower Hostel. Die Lage ist top, besonders für Wanderungen ins Dana-Naturreservat. Abends empfehlen wir eine Runde über die kleinen Pfade mit Blick ins Tal. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut."

"Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und groß. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr schön und ruhig, der Pool ist super und die Lage auch gut geeignet, vor allem wenn man die Sehenswürdigkeiten auf der West Bank erkunden will. Wir empfehlen sehr, vom Restaurant auch mal zu Fuß unterwegs zu sein, man erreicht in ca. 20 Minuten die Nil-Promenade, wo man verschiedenste Läden und Restaurants sowie eine günstige öffentliche Fähre auf die East Bank findet, die direkt vor dem Luxor Museum anlegt und nur wenige EGP p. P. kostet. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, das Essen (wir haben das Frühstück und die frischen Säfte probiert) haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!"

Weniger gut waren unsere Erfahrungen (nicht nur in diesem Hotel) mit den vom Hotel organisierten Driver. Die sind im Verhältnis zu dem was über Uber und InDrive usw. möglich ist wahnsinnig teuer und gar nicht mal so zuverlässig. Wir würden also sehr empfehlen, Taxis lieber selbst zu organisieren.

There are some minor damages which could get repaired but thats just to improve the oberall look of the place. Beside that everything was perfect and it was a very pleasant stay

Nach dem Wäsche waschen haben zwei Sachen gefehlt, die auch nicht mehr auffindbar waren (hat mich ziemlich geärgert).

Es hat uns alles gefallen. Schön wären ein paar mehr Haken in Bad und Dusche für die Handtücher und eine kleine Ablage am Waschbecken.

"Es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel, welches im Grünen gelegen ist und ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen ist. Das Frühstück, welches im Preis mit inbegriffen ist, ist unwahrscheinlich lecker und es wird sogar selbstgebackenes Brot serviert. Die Angestellten sind sehr hilfsbereit und man fühlt sich willkommen."

Es ist etwas weit entfernt von den nächsten größeren Städten. Mit eigenem Auto ist das aber kein Problem und sonst kommt man mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln auch innerhalb einer Stunde überall hin.
