"Absolutely wonderful stay. The place was spotless, and everything was clearly very well cared for. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting, yet the location was excellent and very convenient. The room layout was very practical and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to feel comfortable right away. The internet was extremely fast and reliable. The bathroom was a real highlight — a fantastic shower with both a rain shower and a movable shower head, and the water pressure was excellent. The host was friendly, attentive, and very responsive to any questions. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this place."

"Ich buchte das Hotel für meine Radtrip durch die USA und wollte vor der Grenze übernachten. Die Unterkunft ist nicht ganz einfach zu finden, insbesondere der Eingang mit der Codebox ist gut versteckt (um das Haus herum und die Treppe hinunter (quasi Kellereingang). Abgesehen von den Startschwierigkeiten war die Unterkunft gut für die Durchreise."

"It was a great location and easy to get in and out of. The lockbox was simple and it was nice to not have to deal with a front desk or coordinating to check in and out. The place was clean and there was ample space"

We had a couple dead cockroaches in the place that wasn't our favorite. We also had a line of fire ants on the wall in the master bedroom. There were also a lot of cockroaches outside of the apartment and one ended up getting into our vehicle which the kids didn't like

"Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis in einem unglaublich prachtvollem Haus aus dem 18. Jh. architektonischen ein Schmuckstück. Allerdings auch der generellen Zustand aus der Zeit, nie renoviert, entsprechend unkomfortabel, Bad, WC siehe Fotos, Zimmertür nicht versperrbar., nicht sehr hygienisch. Handtuch und Leintuch als Deckenüberzug bekam ich auf Anfrage. Für Abenteuerlustige, die das nicht stört ein Traum, für Menschen, die ein bequemes Hotel bevorzugen nicht geeignet. Freundlicher Besitzer, konnte Motorrad im Foyer abstellen. Lage super in der Medina. Beste Zimmerwahl ist Zweibettzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad, sehr schön und besserer Zustand als die anderen."

"After being welcomed at the jetty we received a wet towel, tasty sandwiches and a refreshing drink. The staff was super friendly and we also liked the island, the room and the breakfast. We got water every day and beach towels."

The shower is open, so the bathroom gets wet every time you shower.

"Great property in a very quiet location, though still close to the restaurants. Francis has taken personal care of us. House is lovely, clean, kitchen is well equiped. We took tour with Francis as well, both were wonderfull. You can spend your time at the beach and will be there alone most of the time, since the property is small (pls note that swimming is not recommend, as pretty much everywhere on this island). We have very much enjoyed our vacation there."

"Es ist wunderbar ruhig, liegt an einer Sackgasse am nördlichem Ende von Máncora.(Der Strandbereich den ich viel schöner und ruhiger als den Hauptstrand finde). Das Zimmer ist geräumig, mit eigenem Kühlschrank und einem riesigem Bett. Es war recht heiß,aber nicht schlimm. Man bekommt Frühstück serviert,dann wenn man will."

There were 2 ladies at the reception - one of them was exceptionally kind, the other one was passive aggressive and rude (I only talked to her on the phone).

"Die Lage im Water Village ist wirklich etwas besonderes, es ist recht einfach ein Boot zu erwischen um ans andere Ufer zu gelangen (der Preis von 2 Dollar ist ok). Es ist wirklich ein besonderes Gefühl über dem Wasser zu schlafen und am Morgen einen tollen Ausblick auf die Stadt zu haben. Auch die Gastgeberin war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, wer eine besondere Unterkunft in Brunei sucht ist hier richtig."

Leider war nur Barzahlung möglich. Das Badezimmer könnte etwas sauberer sein, überfüllt mit alten Shampoos und sonstigen Utensilien

"Saloua und ihre Familie sind unglaublich liebe Gastgeber, die wirklich alles gemacht haben, damit ich mich wohl fühle. Das Zimmer ist groß und gut gelegen und parken konnte ich auch vor der Tür. Top Empfehlung."

Die Wohnung hat kaum Aussicht. Aber das hat uns nicht gestört für 1 Nacht.

"Herr Guy ist sehr freundlich und nett hilfsbereit war ein sehr schöner Aufentalt, es ist nicht weit zur Therme und zum Zentrum zum Essen gibt auch viele möglichkeiten. :-)"

Conveniently located walking distance from the port, but still in quiet and private location. We felt straight at home. The hosts gave us great tips for the island and even booked our St Valentine restaurant for us."

"Sympathischer Familienbetrieb. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig, der Außenbereich liebevoll gestaltet und gemütlich. Die Lage ist zwar ein bisschen ab vom Schuss, hat aber den Vorteil, dass es ruhiger ist als im Ortskern. Man kann in der Unterkunft zu einem fairen Preis Fahrräder leihen. Gleich ums Eck gibt es schöne Fahrradstrecken durch die Reisfelder."

"We are visiting from Australia and this was a perfect place to stay for over a week. Lovely host who was so kind. The guesthouse is only a 5 min walk to a lovely restaurant and another 5 mins to centre of town yet it’s so peaceful. Room was very clean and comfortable with great aircon. A lounge area is available with tea/coffee, fridge and microwave. Lovely outdoor seating area. I highly recommend this beautiful guesthouse."
