Das Appartement ist für 4 Personen (zumindest was die Schlafmöglichkeiten betrifft) allerdings können 2, max. 2,5 Personen am Tischlein sitzen zum Essen.

"Very nice host, trying to accommodate all my requests. Very authentic stay close to the volcano. The volcano and the red glow are visible from the hut."

As all activities and transport are organized by the host, I sometimes had to wait quite long time for the driver to arrive. This was not the hosts fault, but it is important to know when planning a trip to Tanna.

No filters for the coffee maker. The streets are in bad shape once you drop off the Main Street to get to the house.

"Die Lage ist ideal - fünf Gehminuten zum Zentrum, dennoch ruhig. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber; einfaches, aber leckeres Frühstück. Die Empfehlung zum Nachtessen war ein Volltreffeer, allerdings ohne Alkohol-Ausschank. Ansprechende, saubere Zimmer, Dusche und WC-zur gemeinsamen Benutzung. Gutes WLAN."

Ein Paravent als Windschutz auf der grossenTerrasse wäre ideal - am Abend war es ungemütlich, sodass wir uns im Erdgeschoss unter den Balkonen aufgehalten haben.

"Ich habe noch nie eine so bemühte und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin erlebt. Sie hat mich sogar vom Flughafen abgeholt und mir viele wertvolle Tipps für die Insel gegeben. Ich habe mich rundum wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt und werde ganz sicher wiederkommen."

"- ein super schönes Zimmer mit Balkon/ Blick ins Grüne - sehr ruhige Lage, mitten in der Natur - sehr gute Betten - Sitzgelegenheit: Sofa/ Tisch im Zimmer und - überdachter Essplatz draußen - sehr sauber und freundlicher Vermieter - fußläufig zum Strand - Fahrradverleih direkt vom Vermieter - gute Ausgangslage für Aktivitäten - die Beschreibung der Ausstattung war ehrlich und passte - es gab Kaffee frisch gekocht"

- Gemeinschaftsbereich innen ist ausbaufähig (Kühlschrank, Spülgelegenheit, keine Kochgelegenheit)… aber ist auch nicht so wichtig im „Natur Guest House“

Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.

When it was raining a bit water dripping inside from roof. But it’s ok bcs I think that’s drawback from the building design.

"Traumhafte Lage im tropischen Wald mit Blick aufs Meer (Privatstrand für die Wohnanlage), super Ausstattung (besonders Bad, Küche und mega Pool) und mit Gabriele eine hervorragende Gastgeberin!"

Mit Uber/Taxi bzw. Bus braucht man ein bisschen Geduld, aber es findet sich immer ein Weg zum Ziel ;)

"Das Zimmer wirklich schön eingerichtet. Die Gastgeberin war klasse und sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück sehr lecker. Für uns hat alles gepasst."

Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren

No communal areas. The kitchen was tiny and no where sit and eat. There is a small space in the top floor to make a cup of tea but not suitable to eat and not near the kitchen. The shared bathroom shower is too complicated, the water sprays out of all the taps and was cold

Some issues booking a taxi at reception during Zomba festival (bit too far to walk to main events)

"We had an amazing stay! The hosts Kristina and Kozma and their cute little dog were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. They even shared the tastiest fresh tomatoes from their garden. The balcony had a gorgeous view over the sea, and they were kind enough to give us a ride back to Vlora. Honestly, such lovely people – highly recommend!"

"Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, Gastfreundschaft wird hier sehr groß geschrieben. Wir wurden sofort bei der Ankunft zu Tee, Brot, selbst gemachter Marmelade und Obst aus dem Garten eingeladen. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Vielen Dank für die gute Bewirtung! :)"

Die Betten wackelten leider, bei einem ruhigen Schlaf aber kein Problem ;)

"The personal attention of the wonderful owner stood out for us. He went out of his way to collect us from the ferry and take us to the airport the next day. He provided us with a fabulous breakfast too - the best we’ve had over our whole trip. We loved meeting him and talking to him."

"Der Frühstück war aus lokalen Produkten, ganz fein und serviert direkt im schönen Garten. C’est le plus beau et agréable endroit pour passer un moment de joie. L’accueil est adorable et sincère. L’histoire de la maison comble le reste. C’est tout simplement un musée vivant , qu’on ne peut pas oublié. Aucun compliment peut exprimer notre joie ici. Das ist ein Paradies zum wohnen und zum genießen. Wir wünschen Maguy weiter viele Liebe for ihre Gäste."
