Ich persönlich bin kein Freund von Gemeinschaftsbad und -küche (war aber unmissverständlich so deklariert ;-) ).

"Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich. Es ist ein Projekt, das aufgebaut wird in Eigenleistung. Das Zimmer ist im Familienhaus mit Geminschaftsküche mit den anderen Gästezimmern."

Es wirkt noch ein bisschen provisorisch.

"This is an excellent small guesthouse and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area is very quiet and Bahir Dar is one of the most beautiful cities in Africa. The hosts, Ashenafi and Habtamu, showed us around and made us feel very welcome."

This is a new guesthouse and they are still getting all the facitilties that a western tourist would expect, but everything important was there including shower, cooking facilities, chairs and tables in the patio and a barbeque!

"Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähe des Strandes, im Umfeld gibt es viele Restaurants, Bars und Geschäfte. Zum Strand sind es nur ein paar Minuten . Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, es ist sehr gemütlich und man fühlt sich wohl. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, so das man sich Essen kochen kann, Fernando ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, auf Wunsch hat er auch meine Wäsche mitgewaschen. Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt, Danke für die schöne Zeit."

Das Zimmer ist für 2 Personen ziemlich klein.

"Sehr überrascht.. schöne lage außerhalb von Danzig .. Gastgeber sehr freundlich.. Und das Highlight war das Auto museum mit der liebevollen Gestaltung.. waren mit baby dort.. und waren sehr zufrieden"

"Beautiful house and garden. Lot of trees. Nice pool. Room was comfortable. Back up generator for powercuts was great. Quiet area, close to the sea. Nice owner."

When arrive, bed sheets were used. We needed to change them ourselves. No cleaning servise. The mainhouse kitchen was only allowed for small cooking like eggs. If wanted to cook food, needed to go outside kitchen. There was no fan or pots, all needed to take there from main kitchen. Very unconvinient and hot to cook there. We were accused from staff and other customer stealing her mobile. Phone was found in her room where she had put it under her blanket. That really upset us. Owners were nice thou and apologize us.

Wifi is okay, it works nicely. There’s parking and kitchen and two bathrooms and a toilet in those two apartments."

The owner was with us at the house, and he wanted to help us with the snow around our cars, but we didn’t always feel comfortable around him. He was cheerful and kind man sometimes, but sometimes he made unnecessary comments which were not needed in this type of situation since we are the guests there.

"She is one of the sweetest persons I ever met in Bhutan. The room was neat and clean and it was a very nice homestay. She took care of me and my friends so well. If you qre in Punakha, I would recommend to take her homestay rather than going to any hotel"

Nothing. She was superb. The stay was in a remote location. But if you have a car, it is still accessible

"Von der Haupstrasse geht eine Naturstrasse zur Unterkunft, welche kein Schild hat. Netter Empfang von Monica und ihren zwei kleinen Kindern. Ich hatte ein einfaches drei Bett Zimmer ohne Mosquitonetz. Könnte mir nicht vorstellen zu zweit/dritt dort zu sein, viel zu eng/klein. Ich bekam einen Kübel um meine Wäsche zu waschen und konnte sie draussen aufhängen. Super köstliches, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Gutes Abendessen. Im nahen Gorilla Sip Garten Restaurant gibt's guten Kaffee und Kuchen."

Nach dem Duschen ist das kleine Bad/WC nass. Unbedingt Aufhängehacken und Regal anbringen. Keine Mosquitonetze. Man kriegt keinen Schlüssel für das Tor, muss lange klopfen bis jemand öffnet.

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

Ein Ausflug zum Strand in der Nacht organisiert, damit kann man das leuchtende Meer beobachten. Sie gehen auf Wünsche von Touristen zu. Sehr leckere Frühstück. Diese Unterkunft ich allen empfehlen!"

Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.

"Beautiful villa on countryside. Jerry is excellent host he is very generous and try to help with all guest needs. Not to forget co-host Sam he can bring you from the airport and take you anywhere around the island. Excellent service. House is well equipped and has it all. Room was specious and modern. Separate room where you can wash your clothes. About 25 mins walk to Dickenson bay/beach and 10 mins walk to closest supermarket. Highly recommended to stay especially for solo travelers"

Trotz abweichender Angabe war nur Barzahlung möglich, wobei außerdem ein nicht so guter Wechselkurs für die Berechnung genutzt wurde.

"Felex, Asinja and the kids were so welcoming! They cook delicious food with local produce. Felex is always up for a chat and coordinating a wonderful community project in the village. It’s a simple room but basic amenities, but a truly unique experience."
