"Paea hat uns herzlich bei sich aufgenommen. Das Zimmer ist in der Nähe vom Nuku Alofa Stadtzentrum und in der Nähe zum Hafen, perfekt für Whale Watching/Swimming! Dazu bietet Paea Inseltouren an und kann viele Tipps geben. Wir waren mit ihr bei einem traditionellen Dinner und wurden von ihr in den traditionellen Hochzeitsgewändern eingekleidet. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Sehr gutes WLAN!"

Ab und zu laut in der Nacht wegen der Streuner. Das ist aber eher der Insel geschuldet.

"That’s amazing studio flat in a very nice hotel. It is sad that is sharing apartment, but you don’t share anything. You have your private bathroom, washing machine, private kitchen, private balcony, the only thing you share is one door to get to your flat. There are food shops and restaurants all around. Tram and bus stops very close. Metro station is about 1 km away, but you can take tram to get there, it takes two stops. Apartment was clean, nice clean white sheets, clean good towel, shampoo and hair conditioner. Security downstairs so you feel absolutely safe. Location is good for taking a walk by the marina to see yachts and a wonderful view to all buildings around. Wi-fi was good."

There is nothing in the kitchen, no spoons, no forks, no cups, no plates, absolutely empty. I had to buy a cup just to make coffee. Had to wait host for 1,5 hour. The main things to see are far away from the property, you need to take metro and ride 10-15 stops to see burj khalifa, the frame, future museum and ect. At least it’s one line. There was bad smell in the kitchen (can’t understand where it was coming from) had to keep balcony’s door open all the time. Very noisy street outside, cars and trams traffic all the time.

"Von der Haupstrasse geht eine Naturstrasse zur Unterkunft, welche kein Schild hat. Netter Empfang von Monica und ihren zwei kleinen Kindern. Ich hatte ein einfaches drei Bett Zimmer ohne Mosquitonetz. Könnte mir nicht vorstellen zu zweit/dritt dort zu sein, viel zu eng/klein. Ich bekam einen Kübel um meine Wäsche zu waschen und konnte sie draussen aufhängen. Super köstliches, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Gutes Abendessen. Im nahen Gorilla Sip Garten Restaurant gibt's guten Kaffee und Kuchen."

Nach dem Duschen ist das kleine Bad/WC nass. Unbedingt Aufhängehacken und Regal anbringen. Keine Mosquitonetze. Man kriegt keinen Schlüssel für das Tor, muss lange klopfen bis jemand öffnet.

"The view was absolutely stunning, and the service was truly excellent — the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made everything so convenient. We also loved the swing and theres free horse riding experience provided. it was such a unique and enjoyable touch."

The only minor downsides were that the jacuzzi water wasn’t hot during our stay, and there were quite a number of bugs at night, so it was a bit difficult to sit outside for long. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed our time there.

"Parkplatz vor der Tür. 5 Minuten zum See. Absolut ruhig gelegen und weg vom Trubel am See und trotzdem schnell drin. Die Unterkunft ist einfach eingerichtet und hat alles für meine Bedürfnisse. Bett für mich sehr bequem."

"Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut , man kann von dort alles gut erreichen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und helfen bei Fragen sofort weiter. E-Bike’s kann man im Hof kostenlos unterbringen, was uns sehr wichtig war. Auch ein Stellplatz fürs Auto ist vorhanden."

Die Treppe zur Unterkunft ist etwas steil.

The kitchen was not equipped very well. It is sufficient only for short stays. So if you stay for two or three nights it is OK - otherwise you will not be able to prepare decent meals there.

Die Strassen befinden sich im Wiederaufbau und sind in einem furchtbaren Zustand, so muss man viel mehr Zeit einplanen. Weil es nur langsam und in Schlangenlinien zu befahren ist.

Nothing. She was superb. The stay was in a remote location. But if you have a car, it is still accessible

"This is an excellent small guesthouse and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area is very quiet and Bahir Dar is one of the most beautiful cities in Africa. The hosts, Ashenafi and Habtamu, showed us around and made us feel very welcome."

This is a new guesthouse and they are still getting all the facitilties that a western tourist would expect, but everything important was there including shower, cooking facilities, chairs and tables in the patio and a barbeque!

"Legendär. Direkt am Strand, sehr ruhig, sehr schön gestaltet. Supernette Leute. Wenn dort ein Bett frei ist -> unbedingt buchen! Wer allerdings Luxus-Komfort erwartet, ist hier falsch... Hier liegt der Fokus darauf, durch die Einfachheit mal zu entspannen und runterzukommen."

"Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, der Transfer von/zum Flughafen hat super geklappt. Die Unterkunft liegt nah an einer Bushaltestelle, perfekt für die Westseite/Strand oder nach Victoria mit dem Bus. Sehr gutes WLAN ! Sehr sauberes Zimmer/Bett. Super Preis für Seychelles."

Die Unterkunft liegt leider direkt an der Straße, mein Zimmer lag direkt neben der Straße. Die steile Zufahrt zur Unterkunft ist nicht empfehlenswert mit Mietwagen.
