"🇱🇰🥰 Guesthouse mit sauberem Zimmer und tollem Frühstück bei einer sehr netten Familie. Bindu hat sich super um alles gekümmert und uns zum Tempel in Buduruwagalla gefahren und dort auf uns gewartet. Im Garten der Familie wohnt Martin, mit dem wir uns stundenlang unterhalten haben. Vielen Dank, gerne wieder."

Tout était vraiment parfait. Si nous devons repartir en Guyane nous savons où aller.

"The view was absolutely stunning, and the service was truly excellent — the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made everything so convenient. We also loved the swing and theres free horse riding experience provided. it was such a unique and enjoyable touch."

The only minor downsides were that the jacuzzi water wasn’t hot during our stay, and there were quite a number of bugs at night, so it was a bit difficult to sit outside for long. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed our time there.

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

"Die Menschen vor Ort sowie der Besitzer waren top. Die Lage ist nahe am Strand und an einem wunderschönen Tempel gelegen. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen."

"Legendär. Direkt am Strand, sehr ruhig, sehr schön gestaltet. Supernette Leute. Wenn dort ein Bett frei ist -> unbedingt buchen! Wer allerdings Luxus-Komfort erwartet, ist hier falsch... Hier liegt der Fokus darauf, durch die Einfachheit mal zu entspannen und runterzukommen."

The location is on 28 minute drive from Masjid e Nabawi. Taxi would be costly.

The only thing that slightly annoyed me on arrival was that there wasn’t an electrical socket right next to the bed, even though it did say that on the booking site. But that’s a small thing.

Dumbea sur Mer is basically a boring suburb of McMansion houses and a shopping mall.

"Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich. Es ist ein Projekt, das aufgebaut wird in Eigenleistung. Das Zimmer ist im Familienhaus mit Geminschaftsküche mit den anderen Gästezimmern."

Es wirkt noch ein bisschen provisorisch.

"Der Taxifahrer meinte die Straße gibt es nicht. Aber dann rief das Hotel zurück. Es kam extra jemand am Abend, um aufzuschließen und mir den Weg zum nahen Supermarkt zu zeigen. Morgens gab es ein gutes Frühstück. Der Weg zur Botschaft von Guinea-Bissau war nicht weit."

"Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Sie haben mir bei meine Weitere Transit-Reise geholfen. Nach dem Wunsch haben Restaurant-Bestellung im Unterkunft gebracht. Ein Ausflug zum Strand in der Nacht organisiert, damit kann man das leuchtende Meer beobachten. Sie gehen auf Wünsche von Touristen zu. Sehr leckere Frühstück. Diese Unterkunft ich allen empfehlen!"

"Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig in einer Wohnsiedlung. Das Zimmer war mit einem Moskitonetz und Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und alle Räumlichkeiten waren sauber. Balkon, Garten… alles perfekt Bei Fragen stand Marie-Pierre immer zur Verfügung. Ich würde hier wieder übernachten! Ich hatte kein Auto, zu Fuß sind es längere Wege, z.B. zum Einkaufen."

"This is an excellent small guesthouse and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area is very quiet and Bahir Dar is one of the most beautiful cities in Africa. The hosts, Ashenafi and Habtamu, showed us around and made us feel very welcome."

This is a new guesthouse and they are still getting all the facitilties that a western tourist would expect, but everything important was there including shower, cooking facilities, chairs and tables in the patio and a barbeque!

"That’s amazing studio flat in a very nice hotel. It is sad that is sharing apartment, but you don’t share anything. You have your private bathroom, washing machine, private kitchen, private balcony, the only thing you share is one door to get to your flat. There are food shops and restaurants all around. Tram and bus stops very close. Metro station is about 1 km away, but you can take tram to get there, it takes two stops. Apartment was clean, nice clean white sheets, clean good towel, shampoo and hair conditioner. Security downstairs so you feel absolutely safe. Location is good for taking a walk by the marina to see yachts and a wonderful view to all buildings around. Wi-fi was good."

There is nothing in the kitchen, no spoons, no forks, no cups, no plates, absolutely empty. I had to buy a cup just to make coffee. Had to wait host for 1,5 hour. The main things to see are far away from the property, you need to take metro and ride 10-15 stops to see burj khalifa, the frame, future museum and ect. At least it’s one line. There was bad smell in the kitchen (can’t understand where it was coming from) had to keep balcony’s door open all the time. Very noisy street outside, cars and trams traffic all the time.
