"I had a truly wonderful stay here. The front desk staff was incredibly nice, patient, and easy to talk to, he made the whole experience even better. The hotel has everything you would need, including a hair dryer. The bathroom and shower were especially great, very clean and comfortable. I was also really touched by the sign at the entrance of the bathroom clearly stating “Female Toilet, males not allowed.” It shows real respect for women and made me feel very safe. Little details like this genuinely warm your heart. I honestly don’t understand why this hotel has such a low rating on Booking. If the full score is 10, I would definitely give it a 10. Thank you again, I truly loved my stay here."

"Ich habe mich selten so wohl in einem Hostel gefühlt, wie in diesem. Da hat für mich einfach alles gestimmt. Es ist ein kleines Hostel mit nur 4 Zimmern - dadurch herrschte eher eine familiäre Atmosphäre, was mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Am Abend hat man gemütlich zusammengesessen, gemeinsam gegessen und Karten gespielt. In der Umgebung kann man viel erkunden, sodass man durchaus länger verweilen kann - Abdalla ist gerne beim Organisieren behilflich."

"Super Lage zwischen Strand und Stadt. Personal sehr zugänglich, freundlich und hilfsbereit beim organisieren der Weiterreise. Unterkunft sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Angenehme Vibes zum Chillen und Entspannen. Essen sehr lecker. Keine klassische Dusche, sondern mit Schöpfkelle. Wusste ich vorher und für mich passt es. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis."

"Das Hostel ist nah am Hafen.Es ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.Alle dort waren sehr freundlich.Das Zimmer war ziemlich klein aber meines hatte gute Ablageflächen für den großen Rucksack.Pro Zimmer ist 1 Doppelstockbett.Der Strand ist sehr steinig hinter dem Hostel aber das Wasser war wunderschön klar!"

Da die Frauen unten sind und nicht über die Mauer schauen können wäre eine einfache Bank außerhalb toll um die Sonnenuntergänge zu bewundern.Die sind wirklich der Hammer.Zu bemängeln habe ich nichts.Das Preis/Leistungsverhälltnis stimmt.Ich würde wieder hingehen.

"Die Lage ist sehr gut und es ist in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und in gutem Zustand. Man hat Zugang zu einer Waschmaschine oder kann auch den Kühlschrank brauchen, was praktisch ist. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit, unkompliziert und reagiert schnell auf Anfragen."

"Großes Zimmer mit tollem, schattigen Balkon, ruhige Gegend, zwischen Bahnhof (ca 15-20 min zu Fuß) und Strandpromenade (ca 10 min zu Fuß), direkt neben einem kleinen Park, Restaurants, Cafés und Supermärkte in der Nähe, Ventilator und Schließfächer (eigenes Schloss mitbringen) im Zimmer, Gepäck kann kostenlos abgestellt werden"

Nicht besonders sauber, mangelndes Toilettenpapier im Bad, kein Duschvorhang, keine Handtücher, ein Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption etwas aufdringlich (aber ansonsten freundlich?

"Ziemlich alles, bis auf das Verhalten des Hospitaleros, eigentlich supernett, aber auf den Wunsch hin, einige meiner Kleidungsstücke NICHT in den Trockner zu stecken, wurden einfach ignoriert, dementsprechend hat mein guter Northface Pullover jetzt verkürzte Ärmel....Nach Aussage, es wird alles erstattet, falls etwas sein sollte, er morgens natürlich nicht aufzufinden war..... Dennoch ist die Albergue sehr zu empfehlen, vielleicht nur nicht unbedingt zum waschen ;)"

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."

"I was a single room in a Hostel, worked for me as I was working. Shared Bathroom and Toilet and it worked well for me. There was a kitchen downstairs and it was close to the town. I was able to park."

Maybe room door lock could be improved. Otherwise it met expectations

My husband even told me not to say anything about the booking, just to see how it was when we got there. But to our surprise, from the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. At the doorstep, we were greeted by Madu at reception, who welcomed us with the warmest smile—as if we had known her for years! 😊 Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful view. It was clear that the staff really care about maintaining a high standard."

"Kelly and his family are amazing hosts. We feel in family! :-) Kelly is so helpful and talkative, always able to give suggestions and help finding activities to do, contacts, etc. His son, Junior, went with us to many places and activities and we fell him like a younger brother! :-) All the family made us feel welcome and at "home far from home". Installations are simple, but in a nice location, in the countryside, quite and friendly place, not far from Goroka center/easy bus connections but we have everything we needed, even to cook our meals. If you want a simple and family place to stay, with someone who will help you around, this is the place! If once I go back PNG and Goroka, I'll stay here again! :-) Thanks Kelly, Junior and family! Hope to see you again!"

It's normal to have light and water cuts. But it's common in the region/general problem and not from the place.

"Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!"

Es ist leider sehr hellhörig, man kann dennoch gut schlafen.
