Aparthotels in Ecuador

"El hotel en general es muy bonito, y la piscina está muy Bien: Mis chamos no querían salir de la piscina, en especial por el pequeño "Parque" acuático que tienen en las instalaciones de la piscina. Las piscinas las mantienen muy Bien limpias, incluso fuimos testigos de la limpieza exhaustiva que realizaron a la piscina de niños. El personal de mantenimiento le damos un buen "pulgar arriba". Se nos daño la cerradura y la cambiaron Al mismo momento en el que lo reportamos, a pesar de que tenían "various casos de emergencia" que necesitaban atender. Muy bien por El líder de mantenimiento."

El desayuno fue un desastre. Cuando llegamos nos asignaron una muchacha para hacerle seguimiento a nuestra "experiencia" en El hotel y nos dijo: "El desayuno es a la Carta, así que no hay que preocuparse". La verdad es que solo habían 3 tipos de desayuno y eran sumamente estrictos (no se podía cambiar pan por arepa por ejemplo). La Carta decía "huevos Al gusto", sin embargo no había huevos hervidos. A la final nos lo prepararon (porque Les explicamos que eran para Los niños) no sin antes mostrar una cara de desacuerdo y "volteada de ojos" no muy agradable. Por otro lado, El hotel estaba casi full (hecho corroborado por Los mismos administradores / trabajadores del hotel), y la disponibilidad de mesas era escasa, en incluso se hacían colas, especialmente, cerca de la hora de cierre del restaurant (10a.m.). Como especialistas en Gerencia e Ingeniería de costos, entendemos claramente que el objetivo de servir "desayunos a la Carta", es tratar de bajar costos (no toman en consideración que bajar costos en la situación de ocupación en la que se encontraban significa incrementar estrés a su personal y al turista), sin embargo eso se puede hacer con El hotel a poca ocupación (quizas igual o menor Al 30-40%) no con el hotel a 80% de ocupación. La mejor manera de manejar la comida con dicha ocupación, es preparar desayunos tipo Buffett. Se lo hicimos saber a la Gerente encargada del restaurant, sin embargo la misma no recibió la sugerencia de buenas maneras.

The airport shuttle service was a complete disaster. It almost ruined my day. I got to understand though that this is an outsourced service and the host promised to work on getting better partners

"Die Hotelanlage ist sehr gepflegt - unser Bungalow hatte die richtige Größe - das Personal angefangen vom Direktor bis zu den Zimmermädchen war sehr freundlich. Die Betten waren sehr gut! Das Frühstück war sehr gut - sehr viel und abwechslungsreich, das Mittagessen mit Megaportionen in der Anlage war fantastisch. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Der Supermarkt liegt direkt am Kreisverkehr. An einer langen Flaniermeile entlang des Strandes kann man am Abend die Seele baumeln lassen und den Abend in einen der zahlreichen Lokale sehr gemütlich verbringen. Es gibt zahlreiche Geschäfte in denen man die landestypischen Keramik , Teppichen wer will - Zigaretten zu äußerst günstigen Preisen im Vergleich zu Europa und sonstige Souvenirs erwerben kann. Unbedingt lange handeln! Sogar die Zigaretten haben keine Fixpreise! Von Geschäft zu Geschäft verschieden! Der Strand ist in normaler Gehgeschwindigkeit in 10 Minuten erreichbar."

Vorsicht! wenn ältere Personen diese Anlage im Auge haben und dort den Aufenthalt buchen wollen. Im Eingangsbereich des Hotels sind hohe Marmorstufen und es gibt auf beiden Seiten keinen Handlauf. Links und rechts vom Hoteleingang stehen Blumentöpfe, das ist für ältere Leute ein großes Problem wenn sie die Stiegen hoch und runter gehen müssen. Ohne Unterstützung des jungen Mannes am Eingang wäre dass nicht zu schaffen gewesen. Man kann sich nirgendswo anhalten - man braucht Hilfestellung von Angehörigen und dem Hotelpersonal! Hier liegt großer Aufholbedarf! Weiters hatten wir einen kleinen Hund mit auf Reisen - als wir ankamen mussten wir für unseren 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt extra 129 Euro für den Hund bezahlen nur damit der Hund mit ins Zimmer darf - reine Akzeptanzgebühr laut Auskunft der Rezeption da im Umkreis viele Hotels keine Mitnahme eines Hundes erlauben. Vorwurf an Booking.com! Bei der Buchung stand Hunde sind erlaubt - es können EVENTUELL! Gebühren dafür anfallen. Es wurde bei der Buchung nicht angegeben mit welcher Gebühr man rechnen muss. Getrübt hat zum Schluss noch den sonst sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt das die zu erlegte Kaution für das Zimmer von € 30 nur zur Hälfte rückerstattet wurde. Die restlichen 15 Euro wurden vom Rezeptionisten einfach eingestreift. Das ist ein absolutes NO GO!

Der Aufenthalt war zu kurz.

"We arrived after 8.30 so there was no one at the desk. However, the instructions to enter were very clear, and we got to our room successfully. On entry, it was really cold and not enough blankets, so sleep was not good on the first night.We didn't know how to turn on the heating and the TV was not set up. There was no milk to make a beverage, so we had to try and find a shop for the simple supplies. We found a number to call on the following day, "which was Sunday," and a very helpful young man sorted out the problems. Overall, our stay was pleasant,and once the issues were sorted, and staff are very friendly and helpful."

The fact that there was no basics for arrivals at night.

"It is located in Dalian's CBD so everything is very close. It is around 500m to the subway, and around 2 km to the seaside with many attractions. The hotel looks good and feels good, it used to be a top hotel a few years back, but it's getting a bit older, however, still has its charm. You won't miss anything, you can conveniently pay by Visa/Mastercard at the reception and do not forget about the 400 RMB deposit."

Nothing at all. It's not a brand-new hotel, so it has experienced better days, however, still in decent condition.

"Ich war leider nur eine Nacht hier. Die Cabaña mit Blick auf den Lago Masaya hat alles was man braucht- gute Klimaanlage, Küche, schönen Balkon mit Hängematte. Kurze Fahrt mit dem Bus, der fast vor der Haustür hält oder dem Taxi nach Masaya. Ich komme gerne wieder."

It is about a 30-45 minute walk into the town of Roseau. It is a short walk uphill to accommodations if you do not have vehicle.
