"St John is a beautiful Island. This condo was clean, comfortable and enjoyed the balcony out back."

We chose not to rent a car and found it difficult to get taxi drivers who wanted to bring us to the end of the street. We tipped well, people would give us their number and then not answer. Was not the condos fault but surprised at the taxi drivers

"Nicht mehr ganz neue Unterkunft aber gut gepflegt. Gute Lage, gut zum Schnorcheln und in der Nähe der Haie und Stachelrochen. Wir haben auch eine Schildkröte und ein Adlerrochen gesehen."

In der Küche kann es ein wenig warm werden da nur der Schlafraum AC hat. Auf Anfrage haben sie uns sehr schnell einen Fan vorbeigeveacht.

"James ist ein guter Gastgeber, ich habe mich wohlgefühlt. Der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Hafen ist sehr schön. Es gab ein gutes Frühstück (nicht inklusive). Damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet. WLAN und Klimaanlage funktionierten gut."

In die Stadt (zum Abendessen u.ä.) sind es 15 zu Fuß auf steilen Straßen. Ich fand es seltsam, dass nirgendwo ein Schild mit dem Namen des Hotels steht. Aus der Dusche kam nur kaltes Wasser.

"Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sehr gut klimatisiert. Die Austattung ist zwar etwas angeschlagen, aber alle notwendige ist vorhanden und funktioniert. Das WLAN im Zimmer und in der Lobby ist sehr gut. Das Frühstück ist absolut in Ordnung"

"everything was just perfect and the stuff was super amazing people like Tima, Cecilia and Fanya also the chef, was my first time being in Mozambique and I was lucky to choose 40/40 accomodation for my stayand it motivated me to come back again that side spends my holidays."

Network was poor but I can't blame the guesthouse it's was also everywhere I went in Mozambique.

Es war alles sehr gut. In die Innenstadt fährt man 5 Minuten.

"Die Häuser wurden in 1993 für die Ingenieure und Poliere der deutschen Bauunternehmen Holzmann und HochTief errichtet die den Staudamm und den Tunnel gebaut haben. Sehr gut erhalten aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Heizdecken und Kamin machen die Häuser schön warm. Mahlzeiten waren sehr lecker."

Das grüne Licht des Feuermelders ist so hell, dass es im Zimmer nie richtig dunkel wurde. Das war etwas unangenehm.

"Gute Lage 5' zur U-Bahn und nahe am Burj Khalifa-Viertel; grosszügige Nutzung des Pool-Bereichs auch schon am Anreise- und Abreisetag (wir flogen erst um Mitternacht und konnten am Abend noch im Hotel duschen); sehr freundliches Personal (mit herzlichem Gruss an den zuvorkommenden Pool- und Fitness-Manager aus Nepal!)"

In unserem Zimmer liess sich der Dampfabzug über dem Kochherd nicht abstellen - na ja, wir stellten uns vor, es sei die super Klimaanlage ... Einstellungssache ... :)

"Super Lage in Gamla Stan direkt am Schloss. Dazu ruhig. Angenehmer Rückzugsort bei schlechtem Wetter (bei uns nicht der Fall). Ja Frühstück im Hotel ist korrekt, aber auch nicht mehr."

"Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft. Idyllisch im Wald gelegen mit privater Sauna. Für Paare absolut top. Ein Auto wird zwingend benötigt."

Keine zusätzlichen Saunahandtücher. Die öffentliche Sauna ist erst ab 21:00Uhr nutzbar für Hotelgäste. Tagsüber werden dort nur Tagesgäste reingelassen. Die öffentliche Sauna ist aber sehr schön.

"The place was very, very quiet (you only heard the rustling of th sea) and the view on the sea was extremely beautiful, one of the best sea views I ever saw (and I travelled a lot!). When I was there I also saw very many butterflies. The room was well equipped with fridge and tea facilities. The lady can make good meals. The village of Sauteurs is only half an hour walking from the place over a quiet road. Sauteurs is a little dull but has a certain Caribbean charm."

There is no airco. The cottages are on a slope, so sometimes you have to climb from your cottage to th reception and restaurant.

"The staff were really kind and helpful. And they never even expect to be tipped. We wanted to tip the girl who was so helpful to us throughout our stay but there was nobody there on the day we left because our flight was too early."
