Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.

"Das Resort liegt mitten in der Natur mit den Mangroven an der Pazifikküste. Schöne Ausflüge mit dem Kajak in die Mangroven oder zu einem Klammeraffenschutzgebiet. Gemütlicher Pool, Unterkünfte direkt im Wald. Naturnahe Erholung, weg vom ganzen Rummel"

Das etwas abseits gelegene Resort ist nur über eine längere Schotterpiste mit dem Taxi ab Airport oder vom Ort Usulután erreichbar. Alternativ gibt es auch die Anreise im Privatflugzeug oder per Boot.

"Die Vermieter sind super nett und kümmern sich. Die Lage mitten in der Natur ist genial. Die Outdoorküche und die große, karibische Terrasse haben uns sehr gefallen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder."

The log cabin accommodation was warm, comfortable and beautifully unique in the attention to detail, artistically designed carved wood, stretched leather, fur chair and stone framed mirror. Husky ride was fun learning about their training from friendly staff. Highly recommended for a comfortable and unique experience."

Couldn’t improve this stay it was excellent. Just wish I could have stayed longer.

"Nalazi se na savrsenom mestu sa jako lepom plazom. Bungalovi su skromni ali ok. Postoji opcija klime ali mora ranije da se najavi! Hrana je izvrsna, imaju jako zanimljive izlete po ok cenama. Odlazak na kornjace ne treba propustiti!!! Osoblje je sjajno."

"Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war zwar klein aber sehr geräumig und gemütlich. Beide Onsen waren hervorragend. Der eigenen kleinen Onsen von der Unterkunft fühlte sich schon so an wie einen privaten Onsen. Der Hausanzug war sehr bequem. Die Unterkunft und deren Ausstattung waren sehr gemütlich. Es gab Gemeinschaftsbäder und Toilette. Waschmaschine und Trockner waren im neuen Gebäude vorhanden. Frühstück ist bescheiden aber es reicht völlig aus."

Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer war laut und die kleine Lampe hat nicht funktioniert.

Etwas weit ab von Schuss, wenn man nach La Fortuna will (aber dennoch Lage spektakulär).

"war sehr schön. Sauber. nett Mitarbeiter. Und die Klimaanlage tob. Dir Chef war sehr nett. Es gibt ein Museum für Vögel und Tiere. Das Schönste, was ich je gesehen habe Im Dorf gibt es Lebensmittel aller Art und Bakarai."

"Geräumiger Garten-Bungalow, herzige Besitzerin. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Bett und Zimmer wird täglich gemacht. Flughafentransfer."

Leider kommen trotz der Bemühungen der Gastgeber (Insektenschutz, Gitter vor Fenster) viele Insekten, Kakerlaken und Gekos in den Bungalow hinein. Es ist kein Internet vorhanden bzw. man muss es sich kaufen.

Leider war der Ventilator eher schwach und die Anreise eher schwierig ( mit Auto)

"Tolle Lage am See, gemütliche kleine Hütte, Frühstück sehr gut und preislich sehr in Ordnung, viele Freizeitaktivitäten"

Waschbecken im Bad etwas klein und niedrig

"Immer wieder schön dort für einen Ausflug abzusteigen. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber sehr sauber und für einen Ski oder Wanderurlaub völlig ausreichend. Wir sind dort immer sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist gigantisch, das Frühstück ist super und auch das Abendessen im Restaurant."

"Great location and the scenery was beautiful. Very nice and peaceful atmosphere. Located on hill tops and the views were amazing! Perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Surrounded by trees and was entertained by monkeys swinging through the branches. The rooms were also very spacious and allowed a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and meals were delivered to the room. Staff were very accommodating and overall had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay."

"We were spoilt with kindness…the staff went out of their way to look after us - even cooking a birthday cake for me at very short notice. The property was very comfortable as and clean and our room looking out into the water holes that the animals came to in the evening and mornings"

It is 30 minutes on a very bumpy road from the gate to the national park and we were the only people to pass through each day. This end of the park is forest and scrub so very difficult to see game. There are not many roads in the park and almost no signage.

"Es ist eine spezielle Erfahrung in einem afrikanischen Bungalow zu übernachten, das dennoch alles hatte, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Erholsam, da man zurück zur Natur.m kommt. Unglaublich herzliche Gastgeber, die sich richtig viel Zeit für uns nahmen."
