"Die Manor ist herrschaftlich und traumhaft eingerichtet. 5* zweifellos. Tolle riesige Zimmer. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches/liebevolles Personal. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns quasi von den Augen abgelesen. Aber Luxus ist dass man Dinge erfährt von denen man nicht erahnte dass man sie toll findet. Shamwari hat reichlich davon. ( freut euch drauf). Dies war bei weitem nicht unsere erste Safari! Deshalb möchten wir unseren privat Guide/Ranger ABEL besonders hervorhebe. Er ist mehr als ein normaler Guide er ist wohl das was man einen Spurenleser oder Tracker nennt. Er konnte die Bewegungen der Tiere vorhersehen und hat uns so bis auf 2-3 Meter an Löwen, Nashörner, Elefanten, Geparden….herangebracht. Dazu beigetragen hat sein Wissen aber auch sein Fahrkönnen. Er hat das Fahrzeug bis an seine Grenzen gebracht, um uns tolle Erlebnisse zu bereiten. Auch wenn’s aufregend war haben wir uns zu jedem Zeitpunkt 120% sicher gefühlt."

Dass wir nach 2 Nächten wieder gefahren sind.

Bei Ankunft war das Zimmer sehr kalt (Winter) und hätte schon vorgewärmt werden sollen. Ein Bademantel (trotz schlechterer Kategorie als Schlosshotel) hätte zur Verfügung gestellt werden können. Im Bad auch keine Heizung.

"Tolle Lage direkt am See, allerdings zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten zur Stadt. Nettes Personal und supernette Betreiber. Schöne Apartement-Häuschen teilweise mit tollem Blick."

Kaum Wlan und zwar auf dem gesamten Grundstück. Kreditkarte soll 5% mehr kosten, funktionierte allerdings nicht. Im Vergleich zu den Meisten Hotels in der Stadt recht teuer.

"Tolle Unterkunft mit beeindruckender Aussicht auf den Mont Agou mitten in der Natur. Einfach herrlich. Saubere und ansprechend eingerichtete Bungalows. Sehr netter Besitzer."

"Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Lage am Fuße der Berge ist toll. Wer es ein bisschen abenteuerlich mag mit Lagerfeuer und der Möglichkeit viel draußen zu sein, wird hier sehr glücklich. Für Kinder ist auf dem Gelände alles da."

"Comfortable stay in a Vintage house, outback-Australia style. Has all things in the kitchen to use if self catering.Hot shower .Central, close to a lovely beach and restaurants. But 2 km from main supermarket. Recommended"

No WiFi. Walls are quite thin so, can hear traffic at day time hours.Quite at nite

"In general all were super. My family and I spent a good time in this fabulous place!"

1. There was no Iron in the room (it is written in the room facilities) 2. Noisy neighbours (they celebrated birthday and used equipment for loud music and jumped in the pool)

"We were generously upgraded to the Langakali house from the Heilala initially booked at no extra charge. This worked out perfect having the extra bathroom. The house was easily accessible on our arrival with overall good communication from the renters. Nina was beautiful and did countless loads of washing for us with no hesitation included in the accomodation price. Green Lodge is close proximity to town and our families village so was a prime location for us. Screens on doors and windows were a plus, coils and basic toiletries and essentials were provided and ample storage throughout. A quiet area that felt very safe. Style of the house is older, but comfortable enough, we felt at home being here."

Although screens were throughout, you will still need repellent and extra coils. The ensuite bathroom toilet wouldn’t always flush properly and the wifi wasn’t working. It would be a plus to have one more fan in the third bedroom of the Langakali house and

"Gute Lage nahe dem Hafen von Tiputa und dem Tiputa-Pass (dort springen Delfine am Abend), Restaurants und Snackbars fußläufig, schöner Bungalow, Rosine und Mauwi waren sehr freundlich und haben tolle Empfehlungen für die Inseltrips gegeben. Abholung immer organisiert. Fahrräder für 5-10 Minuten Fahrt zum Public Strand. Die Insel ist traumhaft."

"Die Lodge verfügt über wenige Zimmer in einem großen Garten. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb aber auch zu Fuß gut zu erreichen vom Zentrum aus. Die Zimmer sind groß und schön eingerichtet. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und bemüht es einem recht zu machen. Wir haben uns dort ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt."
